Everytime i went here when it was owned by mills was a bad experience, it was always an argument with the counter people. I stopped going here because of that.
Now they were bought out by oem, figured it might be better and gave them another chance. Ive had two experiences both bad. First is i drove all the way there because of a part they had in stock, got there and it was "i think it was sent to another of our network yards" so thats cool. Time wasted.
Now the second incident, i called at 1pm on a friday and asked about a piece of glass whether it could be pulled before the weekend, Amanda, told me possibly and i said i really needed it and if it was pulled in time i need to know ill come get it, or i will even pay for it over the phone and they can leave it outside. Noone called me, as she stated "she cant just prioritize one customer, she had a stack of orders to call this morning" (monday now).
Theyre refusing to refund me my measly $20 deposit, claiming the part WAS pulled friday as she said "it was 5 or 10 minutes before we closed and theres no way you would have got here in time" (yea, she said that.) So noone was able to tell me, because apparently the girl who sits in ac at a computer all days job is harder than the guy pulling parts, because only one of them did their job. So now i gotta dispute the transaction with my bank.
Nothing has changed since swapping ownership, this place still sucks. Lazy employees who dont or cant follow through with their customers, and like to argue and create conflict over $20.
This is a terrible place, the description of the parts does not match the parts, there is essentially no refund because you pay for shipping and they also charge you, I do not recommend dealing with them
I drove over 2 hours to get a front bumper assembly. I called and placed the order, put down a deposit, and they called me the next day and said it was ready for pickup. When I got there, I immediately could see that the dumper was not only completely stripped down but also destroyed. It looked like it had been drug around the parts yard or across gravel, and the guy that removed the bumper used a saw and cut off the mounting tabs, making the whole thing worthless. They could have told me it was damaged and saved me the trip, but instead, they had me drive all the way there and then offered me 50% off since it was trash.
If you're not local to this place, ask for photos after the part is removed or before shipping. They gave me the deposit back, but I wasted $45 in gas and half my day.
Have only scrapped vehicles at Mills, both times got far less than I felt they were worth but such is life. Only time I wanted to buy a part was when my 2013 F-150 fx4 needed a new drive shaft, found out that no one within 500 miles had the specific shaft I needed so I had Fort Wayne clutch make me one
It is a junk yard, they do have a large selection of all kinds of cars and parts. They are more expensive than their competitors in the region and not very negotiable as well. Very tight parking lot and always a challenge to egress the property due to the traffic on the country road they are on.Other than that it is a OK place to get some used parts for your car.
Bad customer service. They will manipulate the conversion to make it look like your faults. They act like they never make mistakes and blame on customers. NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! TERRIBLE PLACE TO DO BUSINESS.

I bought a complete rear end clip from BRANDON back in April for my 2003 mustang cobra. The convertible top was down so i could not visually inspect it at the time of pickup, note i had paid for the rear clip roughly 10 days prior to them " having it ready" for pickup. As you can imagine it was a big project to get this car ready and it took me some time, once it was ready and the motor for the convertible was connected .... BAM!
Not only is the top faded as HECK, its ripped in 5 different places, plastic window is yellow and nasty. Called to explain the situation, they said since i was outside of the "warranty" period, that there was nothing they could do. Not even a discount on a replacement haha.. Excellent!
What a great place to get parts - thumbs up to this place for customer service and extremely polite. I plan on going back again very soon. They went way beyond then any company I know. I would recommend this place to anyone 👍👏
Needed a lower intake manifold for an 03 Saturn 3.0L. No one in my state had this! Mills shipped to me the next day! Great job Mills on a very hard to find part!
I placed an order for two parts two days prior. After showing up I had to wait for them to pull a feeder liner which it took the kid an hour to remove. Nice enough buck and very helpful but no organization. I was then given two receipts which I honestly never looked at until removed them from my truck later in the week. As it turns out I was charged twice for the same part and over charged. Since I even up leaving the arts a day later, I accept the blame for not doing my part and catching it sooner. I ended up paying 75 and 35 for the liner that really didn’t have value since the kid ripped it removing it
I called to see if they might have a gauge cluster for a 2000 Buick Regal. As I figured they didn't have it. But the guy on the phone told me about a place in Mishawaka that could do it. So I called them and made a trip over there and 2 hrs later it works again.

I have dealt with mills Auto parts for many years and my husband also we have never had a problem with them they've always been helpful and courteous we would recommend them to anybody that needed a part for their vehicle
Had them pick up a vehicle that I wanted to scrap as they had better rates than anyone else I checked. However, the amount I received was $50 less than what I was quoted. It still ended up being more than what I would have gotten elsewhere.
I was blown away by the caliber of service and selection on my most recent visit. In my opinion, Mills is the premium salvage yard in the Fort Wayne area. Their inventory system is worth every dollar paid to implement. I can't wait to take my tool bag on another nature walk.🙂
Hit a deer yesterday, got the "new" (used) parts today. They gave me a great deal. They have a customer for life and I will definitely b sending all the business their way that I can. The system they have established in their yard is awesome, never seen anything like that.
Great customer service. Pick up an engine for my nephews truck. That he didn't check the oil ever. Called Jim told him to pull for me. The next day it was ready for me to pickup.
Installed a window in my truck. I will NOT go to the other place down the road. That charges you to go in and look around.
Mills knows what they have.
I've bought a few random truck parts from Brandon. Great guy who always gets me what I need even if I don't have a part number handy. I'll be doing business with them in the future. I'm not even in the area and they will still sell & ship me parts.
Aways great service. I have purchased a car from them. They have helped me and other family with several parts. I have had them do work on my car as well. Recently got a great set of used tires at a super price! Great family owned and operated business.
Good place to go if they have what you need. Many times prices are close to that of new. Last time I called about a steel 16 rim $50 here $60 new from auto store next day. I enjoy coming here but the prices are scary
I called when my truck broke down ordered my alternator on a Friday said it wouldn't be on until Wed. Got it on Monday! Was super happy had my truck running 2 hrs later! Five star shout out to you mills
I have bought used auto parts from this yard for a number of years and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Most of the cars in the yard are parked on concrete so you won't get muddy shoes if it is wet.
Location can be a bit of a stretch to get to though the staff is rather manageable and the quality of the products are often cleaner than what you would expect for a salvage yard. The price is a lot more pocket-friendly for the parts and they will at least attempt to try and help locate any of the parts you may need that they don't have in their inventory.
Looked at price online for 02 malibu window motor which stated $30. Drove to get it and was told price was $50. I would of had to pull the part myself and pay more than what is listed on their own website. Place is an absolute joke for a business. Don't waste your time with them honoring any price what so ever.
Great selection; needed Jeep parts...hardly ANYONE around including Daeger had any... Mills has it if you need it. Old school style... old school wisdom... good people that are easy to work with.
They are always busy! That must mean they are doing something right.
Was told one price and when arrived was charged another price. Drove 2 hours to pickup part. Once I got it home my mechanic found a bolt that was sheered off. I immediately called the shop and was told I could return for a 20percent restocking fee. They kept telling me the part was good. An engine head that I have to take to a machine shop to drill and tap a bolt is not good. That is a damaged part. They would not help with machine shop costs. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
