After the evacuation, they found everything in the trunk except for the tool kit and the red impact wrench ? When I asked them about these items, they also found a can of antifreeze... Is the Tiguan's trunk really so big that these things could get lost in it...? Realizing that they wouldn't be able to acquire my tools for themselves, they finally found them on the third attempt ?
#Toyotamotorcredit shame on you for working with such an unprofessional, unethical establishment. Toyota advised me that I was to pay a $10.00 storage fee. My car was in that yard for less than 12 hrs. The attached photo shows where these thieves tried to steal $40.00 from me. I was dropped off and some large man with a beard storms out yelling at the top of his lungs disgusting curse words that I would not dare repeat. A tow truck came behind the car that dropped me off and the driver joins in cursing in Spanish. I called Toyota and told them I was scared for my life. This lady came out and told me to have my driver's license and $50.00 ready. Toyota contacted United which is the middle man and they called the towing company and told them to charge me $10.00. They removed everything from my car and placed it in a black plastic bag. Obviously hoping I would not return for my vehicle. And they would sell it. The will feel the wrath of God. I pray their souls and hearts. Evil always returns to sender. Its impossible to believe that we live in a world that can make a human being be so violent and heartless. Please proceed with caution.
If I could leave a negative star i would. They illegally charge you to get your belongings that they bag up. They wo t let you to your car to see the condition of it or if anything was left behind. The lady that came to the gate yelled at me for talking to another customer that was there besides me. Who is she to tell me who I can and cannot talk to. Had to call the sheriff's department. I will be calling the attorney generals office, bbb and contact the bank so they can report them to American recovery services. This is why the world us going to hell. People are just too rude. We told them we weren't going to pay the $25 in cash. Its illegal to charge to get your belongings. Look up Statue 537.012. Call your loan company and demand yoy get your stuff without paying. Our loan company said its in their disclaimer to not be charged. This company is so rediculous. People fall on hard times and its not fair to be belittled beca7se your car got repoed. Im going to pursue further. If anyone wants to make a complaint about anything we should all do it together and take these a holes down!!
This is absolutely unacceptable. These people forced entry into my vehicle, either by breaking something or tampering with the wiring. On top of that, they stole my AirPods and two charging cables that are difficult to replace. To make matters worse, they charged me $25 in cash with no explanation as to why. This seems like a scheme where they extort money in exchange for returning your vehicle. I am deeply dissatisfied with this experience and will be taking legal action against them. Avoid this place at all costs.
Heads up to anyone who gets their vehicle repossessed in the collier county/lee county area. If your vehicle is sent to this tow yard a representative on the phone will ask for $25 in cash for a “administrative fee” a “holding fee” or a “fee to retrieve your items” this is illegal as per the Florida statue 537.012 “ the lender shall afford the borrower a reasonable opportunity to remove from the titled personal property any personal belongings without charge or additional cost to the borrower.” I called this location on 4 separate occasions where the representative strong armed me into this, I have recorded audio and video proof of these people asking for $25 (or even $20) from me on several different occasions, this is UNLAWFUL and you should always contact your loan provider for further clarification. They ask for the money in cash as it’s untraceable and only until after I informed them that I paid my lien did their response change. Repo people are scum of the earth and karma will come back to them
Outstanding over the phone an in person customer service, even though I got my car repo from them. Honestly cant defame a good company just because you get your car repo and have to pay extra fees, stuff like that would not happen if you pay to begin with.
Just recently got my car repo’d, customer service was not bad but they tried to steal $25 from me as an “administration fee” and they asked for cash only when I opted to pay with my debit card. I immediately called my car agent and he told me they are not supposed to take any money from me. When my car agent called 1st stop recovery to verify of this issue the lady had the nerve to say “it must have been a misunderstanding” (only way for her to save herself and this bad company from collecting illegal money from customers). Guys BEWARE of this company when they ask you to pay $25 at the time of picking up your car, call your car agent and ask if that is correct first. They also broke the inside of my door handle trying to open the door with a lockout kit and scratched it. They are TERRIBLE. 0 stars for me If I could.
We had a wonderful experience with all 5 of the employees that we dealt with. They were professional and had great patience with our complicated vehicle. They had to remove a 40', 5th wheel that has a dry weight of almost 18,000 pounds. They kept us informed of everything they were doing.
they like to trespass into gated community's using an illegal EVAC opener meant for emergency vehicles. Very shady characters indeed. Thier truck is the one on back NOT the one with lettering.
I like everyone else on this page fell on hard times and my car was repo’ed I understand the stand at the gate as the lovely ladies that answered the phones are not sure if I was Charlie Manson! Over all they made it a bearable experience more then I can say for my finance company Santander!
Very bad service!!! I called prior to coming out to their business and the lady over the phone was rude!! When i got there i was greeted yet again by the same rude lady! She stopped me at the gate and conducted business through the gate!!! When asked is this the way you conduct business she said yes! Which I know is a lie because I saw people coming in and out! They really need to work on their customer service skills. -JR.
Very poor service don’t recommend them at all! They towed my vehicle n messed up my tires in doing so with out my knowledge! The girl that works there is rude n not friendly at all! Then they make you sign the paper work n if you don’t sign it they won’t let you get your car back she didn’t even let me look to see for damage before I had to sign the paper work! Now I’m filling damage claims!
The customer service here had me lost for words. I called on Monday and the gentlemen who answered the phone was kind, professional, and thorough. When I arrived this morning to pick up my belongings, I was greeted with that same politeness. A gentlemen came out to my car and told me where I needed go and when I got to the office, a sweet young southern belle greeted me with a pleasant smile. Once I signed the papers I needed to, they had another woman bring my belongings. She road her golf cart right up to my vehicle and loaded the trunk for me. I was really surprised to have received such impecable service. This establishment really is exceptional at what they do. My only complaint is the inconsistency with displaying there hours. Here on google it say 9-3:30 Mon-Sat, when I went on Saturday they were closed but had a sign that said 8:30-6 M-F, and when I called I was told they're open 9-4 everyday. Once they get that situated, they're perfect!
