My experience with Axle and Spindle towing was great! Norman in Truck 6 was my driver and we were able to avoid to tow and he helped me get the car back in the condition to go back on the road and drive. Very friendly, personable, respectful, and knowledgeable. Next time I need a tow I hope it’ll be Norman answering the call.

My experience with Axel & Spindle Truck Repair (And AAA) was awesome, fast and stress-free. Luis was very kind, knowledgeable about cars and took extra care with my car. Which was definitely not easy since it wouldn't start and was parked in a narrow diagonal spot. The whole process was super quick and Luis being a natural conversationalist with what seems like years of towing expertise made my morning a lot less stressful than it was when it started. Caught a flat in 84 today and was contacted by Norman in truck #6 (through my AAA) to ease my worries! I've never had a flat on the highway before so I was a bit shaken, but Norman was the biggest sweetheart who certainly does NOT get paid enough!! Cannot recommend him enough!! Thank you, Norman!!

After a bad experience with AAA, Jose met us to tow our Jeep Wrangler. Rather than just follow the request to tow, Jose took the time to check our car - and got it started with a jump after AAA tried twice and told us the battery wasn't the problem. Jose was great and was more interested it getting my car working than just taking the tow. He saved the day.

Norman picked me up with a flat tire on a Monday morning and from the moment he called to check in, I knew I was in great hands! He was friendly, cared about my safety, and wanted to make sure my car was also going to be taken care of at the shop be dropped me off at. Can’t begin to say enough good things about Norman in Truck #6! My husband got his mustang stuck in a deep pit of mud in our yard and Norman was able to save the day! I had the pleasure of my car being rescued by truck 6, driven by Norman Sparrow. Firstly, I would like to thank his timely fashion arrival so I could get to work. He called several times to be certain I was safe and apprised me of his location so I could rest assured I would be safer soon. He was gracious and kind while assisting with my car and his demeanor offered a bright light to our day. In times such as those we currently live in, Norman was a treasure of old school humanity, neighborly care, and an all around refreshing great guy. This was true customer service and I thank him for making a difficult day better by his precision and presence.

First and foremost I want to thank Norman Truck #5 he came out and towed my vehicle in a timely fashion. The time I completed the call for a Tow service, to when my vehicle was placed in my driveway the whole process took about 35-40mins. Thank you dearly. After having a not so good experience with AAA, I was so overwhelmed today. Norman from Axle, who towed my vehicle, literally made my day! So professional, great sense of humor & got my car hooked up & out of here in less than 10 minutes! I’m a firm believer is everything happens for a reason and this was one. Norman from Truck #6 was absolutely fantastic. He was not only great to talk to but also an amazing person overall. The pickup was simple, and the communication was seamless. Initially, our claim was incorrectly entered through AAA, which would have left us responsible for the tow. However, Norman showed up and immediately empathized with our situation. Instead of moving on with his day and leaving us to sort out the reimbursement, he took the time—without us even asking—to get on the phone with a AAA representative and ensure the claim was corrected on our behalf. Truly a great guy and a great company.

I would have written this earlier, but I'm still waiting for owner to call me. Randy stated he will. On about 4/15 my truck was towed to Tolland Automotive Ent. from I-84 tow bill paid. I instructed them that my clutch went out. It was inoperable and could not move. I left my truck and waited for a check and advise. On 6/4 Larry called me. The estimate was $5300 to replace clutch. I stated the estimate was outrageously high and I will come pick up truck. Was informed I had until 6/7 to retrieve it or recurring storage fees will be added. Informed them I can make it by Monday 6/10. I live in Georgia. 6/10 I arrive. Check and Advise was $730. Batteries was dead and truck was inoperable. Had to be towed 50 feet from yard to shop bay and back. Been there since 4/15. Clutch need to be replaced. Wrecker was dispatched to piggyback deck to my fifth wheel. Truck was turned around and lifted onto fifth wheel. Wrecker driver will not secure deck or remove tires because he don't want to be liable, if I was to hit a bridge. My height was 14' 6" (see pictures) To be lifted and nothing else, $744.45, because he didn't want to be liable. Off the ala carte menu I was was charged an additional $239.29 to remove my axles. Which did not include a piece of cardboard to stop the oil from flowing out the axles. (See pictures). At 4:30 pm I was asked to leave the property because they was closing. I gingerly exited their property to the public road spewing oil from my axles. The wrecker driver, did return about an hour later to tell me he'll put the axle seal on for an additional $110. I declined, because I already had called for another road service to secure the truck to fifth wheel and remove tires. But, he insisted and put on the seals. I ended up having the second road service guy, after removing tires and securing, just escort me to Freightliner. I didn't want to hit any bridges going back to GA. 6/11 The gentlemen at D&L Auto Body and Towing put me back on the ground and replaced my tires. For $212.70. The estimate to replace my clutch, at Freightliner was $3500. I went back to talk to Larry. But, he never came out of the bathroom, I guess. I am also posting this to Axle and Spindle Truck Repair. In my opinion they lack integrity and professionalism. I am just a truck driver. I did not know that you cannot piggyback 2 condo tractors.

Norman was a great guy. He informed me a bit more about my car and did an amazing job towing my car with a dead engine. He was swift and was able to work with tight spaces and was easy to follow for an hour long trip across the state. 10/10 would recommend!

I needed my vehicle towed to my home and after putting a tow request through AAA I received a call from Norman at axle and spindle. He immediately introduced himself and informed me that he will be handling my tow. He verified where my vehicle was located, and gathered some necessary information which I really appreciated. My vehicle was tricky to load on the truck bed d/t the location of the vehicle but that did not stop Norman. He manually pushed my vehicle and after lots of elbow grease he got it loaded and towed to my home. He even took the time to answer some questions I had and made sure my vehicle was placed right where I wanted it. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He truly went the extra mile and from his hat (he was wearing a veterans hat) it seems like going the extra mile is in his blood! Thanks Norman. Hope I DON’T need a tow again but if I do I hope to get you again!

Edit: The employee's from this company are positive reviews! Robert labbe helped me take my plate off my car. Original post: $310 to tow my car from 384 after a car fire? The tow wasn't far. After I paid the bill they said "nobody has ever paid the tow bill for a burn job" they also stole baby diapers from the backseat and a tire pressure gauge from the passenger door pocket between late Saturday night to Monday afternoon. The receptionist was exceptionally rude over the phone, had the personality of a rattle snake. I got AAA because of this experience. Without AAA I can't dispute my experience and I'll have to bring this company to a courthouse to resolve my dissatisfaction.
