This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
In Birmingham, AL, reviews for Better Call Paul skew strongly negative, averaging 20/100. Major issues involve professionalism and customer service: reports of poor workmanship, messy/unsafe conduct, and confrontational behavior. One reviewer says it’s not a scrap yard, creating confusion about services. There’s no dependable insight on pricing, inventory variety, yard organization, part-finding ease, or wait times. Given the limited and critical feedback, verify what’s offered before visiting and proceed cautiously.

Be Careful with "Better Call Paul"! His quality of work is HORRIBLE, did a horrible job at my house, got mad at my wife for not having a room cleaned when he wasn't supposed to be working on that yet, left hundreds of little thumb tacks on my floor causing a flat tire on a bid, accused my son of stealing a razor blade from him, does not do well around kids. Just be careful when choosing a contractor. And when I asked him to stop the work, he accused me of being racist that the reason I didn't want him to do the work was because his helper was black, I was out of town I didn't even know the race of is helper. He is VERY unstable, gets mad and kicks stuff around, BE CAREFUL!
