I was driving through town and really needed a battery and some girl helped me out and was really nice and knowledgeable and offered a protection kit so my battery would last longer
I went in asking for a certain part only to be told and mansplained that's not the part despite none of them looking at my car they thought they could tell me what was wrong with it. Not to mentioned questioned my mechanic and overall wasn't a pleasant experience.
My check engine light turned on, so I went to this Advance Auto. I asked if he could check My vehicle for codes. His reply was; he was the only employee working at the time, and couldn't leave the store alone.I notice that there was no other costumers as I was walking out, and told him. He said he needed to answer the phone, and couldn't help me. I don't know if he's lazy and doesn't want to go out to the sun, or just racist; since I'm from Texas. I'll be going to O'REILLY'S which is further away, but good customer service. This employee just loss sales for the Advance Auto parts! Preferred me to go to one of their competitors.
I really don't see how this place is going to stay open in the next 5 years. Easily the most un-reliable parts store. For the working person that works during the week (5 days), and has after work events that need attention. On Saturday you go to make a parts run or to pick up your online order to only find out they closed at 6. "Oh maybe ill just go and get it tommorow"... nope. They're closed on Sunday. I guess in the eyes of the geriatric advanced auto personnel vehicular emergencies don't happen at night or on sundays.
Talk about a company who will not stand behind their products. I bought a starter (a brand new one) and had my personal mechanic, who has been doing work for 35 years, put it in. The starter died a week and a half after being put in. Tried taking it back and their "bench test" said it was good when it wouldn't even start my truck. Save your time, go to NAPA
It’s not so much that Advance Auto Parts and it’s knowledgeable staff equipped and stocked with the know how to help you find your items but almost certainly they’ll have your items in stock….

I am an online seller and Advance across the street from my location eases quite a costly and counterproductive shipping necessity for my larger orders needing UPS as a cheap and effective method for my customers however the only UPS location around me is 25 miles away hence how advance auto parts partnering with UPS as a pick up/drop off location I mean really does ease and make profitably productive package shipping very possible and next to nothing about my large UPS shipping experience has mermaids hard.
Ordered a set of rotors online and was given the wrong size at a store in Milwaukee. Tried returning them to this location and the manager refused to take them without a receipt. 1 was unopened taped up in the box, the other was opened but box was damaged when I opened it. They were obviously unused and still in sellable condition. I could not find the receipt but then remembered I had it through email, but I will not be attempting to return it to this location, nor ever purchase anything from this location again. Manager was very curt and stand-offish. He refused to help me even though my number was in their system because I was not a part of their local loyalty program.
I have nothing but nice things to say about this location, professional help, very knowledgeable, great customer service. If they don't have what I need in stock they quickly order it to the store. I would highly recommend this location!!
They said they were gonna have the airsol can of paint I needed for my vehicle and went in there and they said they wouldn't have it until Monday ! Very very silly shouldn't all your employees know when and what you're going to get in ? This is very maddening
