At 7am on Dec 8th I went into O'Reilly in Stevens Point to get new windshield wipers. I have been driving this car for 4 years now and the wipers have always been a bit off. We'll the guy who waited on me took the time to look up my car and told me they were 2 different sizes. In all fairness I'd been replacing them during oil changes. He not only gave me the proper wipers for the first time he also came out and installed them for me . No more awkward smear across my windshield.
Fantastic! One guy working Christmas eve... he was helping 1 lady with her check engine light, then another with her windshield wiper, then finally me.
He said they didn't carry GMC key fobs... but then proceeded to find one online... show me the price and talk me thru what to do to make it work!!
That is over and above!! 5 minutes before closing on Christmas eve! This guy is awesome!!
Always friendly. Dont talk to you like you should know everything about automobiles as if you are on the pit crew for Jimmie Johnson and had to stop by to grab afew cherry car fresheners and an eight pack of pistons bored out. 125". "By the way, do you guys have those laser pointers?"
Today I stopped in after the Pennzoil tried to scam me by having me pay for an air filter I didn’t receive. The lady at the counter was extremely considerate and she helped me find the right air filter, she charged them (Pennzoil) for it and then a very nice man helped me put the filter in so I didn’t have to go back. Awesome customer service. Thanks!
T J rocks! He's saved the day twice now. He's quick to resolve and find exactly what is needed. He needs a raise or promotion. He definitely is the best employee at this location.
The staff members at his location is very knowledgeable and friendly. They always ask if you need help finding anything in the store or if you have any questions. Ever since this location opened I've been going here for anything related for my car. The prices are reasonable and are generally the same elsewhere.
Pleasant staff. Found exactly what I was looking for; 5 quart jug of 10W 40 oil. I did not need a filter, so missed the reduced price but the young man working let me use my son's membership (?- he has the O'Reilly card) for whatever points or bonuses my son may benefit from this transaction.

Great place that has pretty much everything you'd need (they can order it if they don't have the item in store). Keep in mind that they also can order items that aren't listed in there website (pro detailing chemicals)
The store is two blocks from my house, actually a block-and-a-half. Not only my own observation, but those of friends and others some being male, some being female, but especially female, the store seems like it's full of a bunch of Central Wisconsinite Bubba's. Yes I know that is a stereotype,but they always seem more interested in goofing off with each other making some kind of Politically Incorrect statement or distasteful jokes about almost every race of people, gender of people talking about customers behind their back and in front of their faces,when they come in it's just a very distasteful very unfriendly,very ignorant bigoted group of males that work inside the store and the last three times that I have been in there I haven't been able to get the help that I need, they're telling me sometimes what I should do and what I need instead of asking me or allowing me to shop. and if I spend more than 5 minutes shopping they stare me down. Worst O'Reillys store I've ever been into.
I thought I would give it another shot, after staying away from there for probably eight months. I'll never go back there again. I suggest that the O'reillys corporation provides some type of sensitivity training and social awareness program to their employees, otherwise they are Destined to end up/ can end up with a lawsuit if they're not careful,just by the way the employees behave verbally towards customers and the things that they say. Unfortunately, the state does not have any hate speech laws at current time but some municipalities have passed them... the Stevens Point Area not being one of them though Appleton and Madison have adopted municipality laws but a new bill is in legislature this year and I hope that although Wisconsin is demographically Democratic and always been extremely conservative,racist and bigoted, that needs to change.
I hope was everything within me that this video gets to corporate.... and AutoZone can look forward to my business two blocks farther down the street.
Always friendly and thorough. Free engine light check, battery/starter/alternator check. Store has everything you would need for routine maintenance, and they can order what they dont have (provided they stock it online)
Good shop for DIY mechanics. If they don't have what you need on hand they will get it fast, usually next day. Great customer service. Frequent this shop, saving lots of money changing my own oil. Full synthetic is usually on sale as well.
The sale floor is smaller and more organized than other Auto Part stores in order to allow them to carry an above average level of stock. You almost never have to wait for them to order your specialty parts.
