I recently had a terrible experience at Advanced Auto Parts. I went to purchase specific car parts, but when I returned home to install them, I found out that I was given the wrong part. Not only was it the wrong part, but it was also bigger and wouldn't fit on my car. I had to drive all the way back to the store, the lady was helping me asked her supervisor for help. Unfortunately, he showed a complete lack of professionalism and customer service skills. He refused to return the part, claiming that it was unsaleable and he couldn't sell it. This was frustrating, as I had just opened the box and hadn't used it yet. It was only after he decided that he was in a good mood that he begrudgingly agreed to return the part. Needless to say, this was an extremely disheartening experience, and I won't be returning to Advanced Auto Parts anytime soon.

Had to buy windshield wiper blades. Santos Pabon was incredibly helpful, even explained how to install them. I would give his customer service and my overall experience a 10.

Wow. Customer service at this SPECIFIC location is on point. Go to the 5th Street store, I'll drive across town passing two other advanced autos to shop here future forward. Store manager Charlie at this location, is actually reasonable, his assistant manager Santos is respectful, courteous and helpful, and their staff, (specifically Erick) is knowledgeable and are attentive to customer service. Give him a raise, customer service is tough to find in this market. Thanks for giving me a local ish shop for parts, that I can actually work with. What a relief!

Well my wife bought a locking gas cap and I couldn't get it off so we decided to take it back the employee told me ok and went back to find it. Then came back out and told me that he couldn't do it because we put it on and then took it off. Said I had to keep it and purchase a new one.

Advance need to hire associate with better communication skills. I came this morning at 7:40 to get my battery test. This spanish guy said he couldn't due because cold outside to come back around 2pm when their more associates at the store working. 9/27/2022 if too lazy to do your job why you even there.

I recently purchased a third break light at this store and had to return it because I was given the wrong kind of bulb only to find out that because it was opened they would not take it baxk. So eventually I had to purchase another one and was give the wrong bulb again! If you can't do you job when it comes to customer satisfaction, you shouldn't be working there. Bad for business smh

Just go elsewhere if you need a battery. Advanced Auto advertises free battery installation with purchase but the store doesn't have staffing to actually do it. Either hire more people, or stop advertising the service.

Went here to get a air filter and a cabin air filter for my car great price for it and actually had one in stock and the other one was ready to pick up a few hours later ??

This store separates itself from AutoZone in so many ways. Particularly in the way there staff conducts themselves and their productivity to get you in and out the door but not just the part you need but the right part

More than once I have bought from here and they have given me the wrong parts. First time was the spark plugs second time was the break pads even found it odd when the guy didn’t ask for the model of my car. I even asked him if he needed it and he said no did not matter. Will not be buying here again.

No service at all. Didn't have what I needed even though internet site said otherwise. Went back a second time just to find it closed up half hour before closing time. Good thing Pep Boys and AutoZone are next door.

Terrible service the lady there that runs commercial makes it super complicated for someone with a commercial account to purchase anything. I have my account paid off only owe 140 and somehow i couldn’t purchase something that was $30 and somehow my account is inactive even tho i purchased something not that long ago. This is a waste of time & customers are waiting how can anyone possibly do business with these guys

I was in the 5th street advance auto. I had wonderful service. I was helped by liz. Wanted to give her a shout out. She went above and beyond, to help me find my part for my beetle.

Horrible customer service and help . Lady was rude and she needs to get another job if she don’t like to help ppl. Lazy . Rudest, I never experienced anything like that a the parts store . Been going there for years. Yes advance on5th street highway.

There is a guy who is very rough and unprofessional. He was talking over telephone about having a date and we were waiting for about 10 minutes, after he finished his conversation, he waved his hand disparantly saying go to another cashier. Also, he doesn't greet customers ask how he can help. He just remains in silent and look at you very rough. Stay away from this guy. Q---n.

The one employee shuffled around the store taking FOREVER to grab parts... Another employee was on the phone with a "customer" talking about the 76ers.. Meanwhile I'm standing in line patiently waiting for Mr.Tippy Toes to make his way back to the counter... A 5-10 minute trip to the auto parts store took 40 minutes! Ridiculousness to say the least..

I went in there but they didn't have what I need for my car. They said that they don't carried anything from what I was looking for my 2005 Saturn ion. Maybe next time I go and they might have stuff.

The store is fine, clean, and has a good selection, but the staff seem to have no sense of urgency about anything. The line to check out was wrapped around the inside of the store last time I visited and there was only one cashier.

Customer service was great the gentleman help me with all my needs and even suggested some ways to save a Dollar.

Team member at the 3423 North 5th street location Austin Broad was exstremly helpful. And when i called later on and spoke to the manager,, made sure all my questions needs were taken care of.

we stopped there to get blacken spray for the SUV bumpers so they would look black again from sun damage fading them. its well kept inside and the staff are friendly to help

I had great help from an associate who encouraged me to utilize coupons & search for better prices. He also directed me to a private label, which he said was better than the name brand.

I called because I needed a new battery. They had what I needed in stock. And the guy was waiting for me with my battery when I got there. He installed it from me immediately and I was back on the road. I was very happy with their prompt and friendly service.

Way Too Slow Out Of This World Slow All Advance Auto Parts in The Reading, PA Area Specially The One On Route 61 Those Guys Are Way Too Arrogant And They Have No Training At All On How To Treat a Customer. I Wouldn't Recommend To No One. F-Minus

Friendly, helpful came from behind counter to show and explain how product worked and asked if I had receipt for the item I didnt need from before and was able to return it and it gave a great discount on my new needed purchase.

I had trouble getting my air filter cover to fit back on and the one associate inside helped me out and got my cover back on. I really appreciated that. He went out of his way to help me out.

Everyone there is always so well informed and so quick to give expert information as well as hands on helping, the experiences I've had from the very beginning even to this day go beyond compare,and its the only parts store for me and my family!
