I came in today and had a great experience with Jennifer. She was supper friendly and made the process so easy. Definitely recommended.

My car was towed due to a police officer pulling me over. I came to pick up my car and the receptionist is very respectful and helpful in receiving my vehicle.

Customer service was on point, was explained everything I needed to know properly. Overall had a good experience with the company. Fast and easy process.

The city of reading decided to tow my car last minute and although they have a tough job they were really nice and understanding. The process was quick and I was able to receive my car 2 hrs after it was towed

Terrible business lol towed everyone’s car without letting nobody know so desperate for money. lady at the front had a terrible attitude if she don’t like her job then she should work somewhere else . Charged 300$ to get my car out when it was there for less than an hour. A huge SCAM

Matos towing provided me with excellent service. I was able to recover my vehicle quickly and efficiently. Their staff were very polite and professional.

Clearly, having a vehicle towed is not a pleasant experience and I recognize staff is doing their duty to perform a job. I however want to note that common courtesy and respect should go both ways. Especially when serving a customer who you are already profiting significantly off of, due most often to unfortunate circumstances. My partner’s car was towed over 6 hours prior to the massive snowstorm that hit late 1/24 into Sunday 1/25, leaving us stranded with one car (my small sedan) while his car sat an additional day at the tow company. They then charged for the additional day, despite roads being in an emergency state, after not allowing him to pick up his car the night of 1/24, only a half hour after operating hours when he finished work. I then drove a half hour each way, twice. Once to pick him up, once to retrieve the car today, Monday 1/26. I also had to rearrange my work schedule to make this happen. They refused to waive the additional day’s storage charge despite the intensive snowstorm and no possible or practical way of picking up his vehicle yesterday. After explaining the situation calmly and respectfully with a manager, as well as the financial strain it’s causing on our family, the manager’s only “courtesy offer” was a discount predicated on leaving the business a 5 star review. I find this predatory, fraudulent, and lacking of basic human decency. I understand having a business to run, but there is a certain level of basic ethical behavior that goes far in running a business. We would have happily paid the tow fee and the singular day storage. I’m sure the majority of 5-star reviews on this page were also garnished from people in desperate situations. Taking advantage of someone while they are already in a tough spot shows a certain lack of empathy that I will not forget. If you ever have the option, do NOT use this company.

Waited outside in 25 degree weather for 45 minutes before being helped. Staff was nice enough and the process wasn’t too bad so I have no idea what could have possibly taken so long. In the 45 minutes we waited, only 1 person was let inside before us. There’s a locking gate that you have to be let through with barbed wire at the top, between that and the long wait in the cold, it felt like a taste of being treated like a criminal.

Despite the circumstances I had a pleasant experience when retrieving my vehicle from Matos. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and made the process quick.

They took good care of my car after an accident and worked with me to get it towed and repaired. Very respectful people!

Horrible experience from start to finish. I called ahead to confirm exactly what documentation I needed to prove I was the registered owner so I could retrieve my car. My car loan lender provided all required paperwork, including proof of registration, and I even had a duplicate of my car title. When I arrived with my brother—who was going to pay the $3,000 lot fee—they told us only one person could come in at a time, which we respectfully followed. The moment I stepped inside, I was met with unnecessary attitude. Staff tried to claim my documentation was “inadequate,” even though it came directly from my lender and was completely valid. After everything was clearly proven, I told them I needed to go get my brother so he could pay. A staff member twisted my words and claimed I said something completely different, then tried to tell me I wasn’t getting my car back even though my ownership was already confirmed. They made me wait outside while they went on a power trip, and only after that did they finally allow my brother to pay. After he paid the full $3,000, I requested my car be delivered to my mom’s garage. They accused me of lying and insisted her home had no garage. When the tow driver finally delivered the car, he couldn’t follow simple directions and just dropped it in front of the house, forcing me to drive it to the garage myself—without a plate. Unprofessional, rude, greedy, and clearly driven by power. They twist words, create unnecessary conflict, and treat customers with disrespect. If you want to avoid stress, lies, and hostility, do NOT go here.

This company is fraud. They trying to scam out of $2000 to get my car back. I was the victim of a hit n run my car was parked at my home. They charging me for accident fees plus so much more. They lied and said the reason they towed my car was because it was in the middle of street

No one wants to have their vehicle towed, but I'm grateful for the fast service and the kindness Naisha showed me while going through all this. It's not on Matos, they are doing their jobs. Everyone is fighting some form of battle, so to have kindness during a hard situation is appreciated.

I just contracted Matos for my property near Reading, PA and they’ve been amazing to work with, especially Serenity and Brooklyn. Brooklyn is super thorough and communicative! Matos’ availability is also astounding! Wonderful customer service!

I want to start off by saying that my car was towed to here at the request of the police, so I did not choose to work with them. I talked to a receptionist there before I arrived, she was personable and very informational. When I arrived around 10 AM, it took about 15 minutes, if that, to have them release my car. Make sure you have all of the necessary documents needed! The review written by MADAME has a photo of what you’ll need. (Thank you btw) My car was there from June 2nd to June 7th and the cost to get it out was $535. The daily impound rate is $45. Not bad considering the last time my car was towed, the other impound rate was $75 daily. One thing that was unnecessary regarding Matos towing, is that the Google address lead you to another place where it says scan me on a sign that leads you to the actual address..😐 I did not enjoy the feeling of being led on a treasure hunt to where my car was being held for ransom. However, overall, a good experience given the circumstances present. Edit: I think they fixed the address on google.

While it’s fair to recognize that having a vehicle towed is not a good experience, the staff is required to perform a tough job, as most customers arrive upset and get to a personal level which is not fair. I approached the staff respectfully, and they treated me professionally and respectfully. They were considerate and allowed me time to gather all required documents to release the vehicle. I do recommend sponsoring this business when requiring towing services. Please be mindful and respectful and acknowledge that we are all living difficult times and staff deserve as much respect as customers do. I recommend this business.

Best Buy delivery service got their truck REALLY stuck at our house after giving them specific instructions. Matt came from Matos and was able to undo what took these guys 4 hours to do in about 45 minutes. Very impressed with his skills! Service was fast and courteous.
