I considered transferring here for a period of time. The people were nice and honest. My dad is also an alum. It's just the issue of LGBTQIA+ stuff that is still a problem for me with this college. The handbook needs to be rewritten for more inclusive policies. Hopefully, it will happen it the future.

My daughter is a student here and it's been a great experience! Solid professors and great opportunities for students who are not pursuing as a major.

Very little visitor parking near the dorms of the students for visiting purposes, but beautiful campus!

Messiah Bible prof has the following view of the Bible's authority: "At times the Bible endorses values we should reject, praises acts we must condemn, and portrays God in ways we cannot accept...if we are going to keep the Bible from harming others, we need to learn to have problems with it. We need to protest what is objectionable and condemn what is immoral."

Entirely inhospitable neighbor. I do not understand why they have banned people from even entering the creek from empty college parking lots over the summer. Makes zero sense.

Messaih University is a great college campus. Though I do not attend this collage.. I have been here a couple of times for the Messiah Conference which they host.. It is excellent for big events/conferences. So for those pursuing quality education, and a good experience living in campus is a 10/10.. you get a decent size campus.. it has updated buildings, good class-rooms, nature park, swimming pool, gym and and decent dorms.. what you would probably find in a typical campus. it's clean and great

Absolutely love the staff. They are highly helpful and will get out of their way to help you if you have a question. The lawn is very clean and beautiful. It is well mentioned and in timely manner. The interior of their activity centers are also clean. The Staff is alwayes very buissy to ensure the comfort is the way to go.

Getting around to destinations is tricky, however, the campus is beautiful. I especially love the Adora dark

I've only been involved in the music department, and it is top notch with excellent staff and heavenly voices. Beautiful campus.

Went to the campus Miller theater today to see the student production of Gilbert and Sullivan's Operetta "Yeoman of the Guard". Being a veteran of many High School musicals, it was refreshing to hear truly proffesional quality singing from every single person, from the smallest cameos to the main characters. I have not heard such quality outside of Broadway NY. This School must have a top notch music department. They had a full pit orchestra too, also staffed by students and also quite good. The Messiah campus is well maintained, dotted with brick buildings. A stream runs adjacent to the campus. It is a quiet and safe place. It has also been around a while (good reputation).

This is not a Christian University!! To be clear, I hold no ill feelings towards anyone or any group of people. I came to Messiah University to be educated while also growing in my faith and relationship with God. I believe in the Bible, and I believe in God’s Word. If He says it is wrong, then it is. If He says it is right, then it is. 1. Messiah University’s Biblical Beliefs. My experience with biblical studies at this school is the reason I left. I took a Bible course called Encountering the Bible with Professor Eric Seibert. Professor Eric Seibert taught the class and I that certain parts of the Bible were not true and that there were errors in the Bible. Included in his reading packet he assigned to us were a few pages from a book he wrote himself called “Disturbing Divine Behavior.” When I saw the title of his book, I was deeply disturbed. How dare someone call the behavior of God, the Alpha and Omega, “disturbing?” Eric Seibert has another book called, “The Violence of Scripture: Overcoming the Old Testament’s Troubling Legacy.” There were several things said in this class, and I ended up having to walk out because I could not bear to hear it any longer. There was another student in my class who raised their hand to say that they were questioning everything they ever believed in. The Encountering the Bible class with Eric Seibert really traumatized me and had me questioning my foundational beliefs. I was able to strengthen my faith once again with the help of my family and friends who felt the same. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FOUNDATIONAL COURSE THAT MOST STUDENTS WILL NEED TO TAKE AT SOME POINT. 2. Messiah University’s Lack of Reverence to God. Within the first few weeks of being on campus, I was already starting to see different signs that showed me Messiah University did not show reverence to God. The school put the new students into many groups where we did various activities. One activity included the option to make a skit for the new students to see. My group picked the skit activity which was to make a joke out of scripture. One person in my group was to play Jesus while another was to play the woman who washed his feet. Instead, they planned to pretend to polish the toenails as a joke to basically mock scripture. I wanted no part of it, so I left. I write this review because I am very disappointed in the way things transpired at this school. My father went to this school in the 90s and he was even more disappointed. I was trying to figure things out for my first year of college while also trying to keep my faith strong in a school where I felt I was constantly being attacked. I am thankful that God guided me with the Holy Spirit to know when something wasn’t right, when I needed to leave the room and finally when I needed to leave Messiah University.

Watching history professor John Fea on CSPAN today, discussing the Enlightenment with his class. I went to Westmont College myself, similar to Messiah as a liberal arts college. I am stunned by the low scoring comments here, stating grievances about how a liberal arts education is somehow anti-Christian. The dogma that the Religious Right pushes is frankly a calculated attack on the biases of religious people to push them further toward a singular ideology that does not resemble the message of Jesus. Dare I call it brainwashing. A liberal arts education encourages students to think freely, study complex ideas dispassionately, and examine their own biases and ultimately think for oneself. Good for you, Messiah! God bless!

My daughter attended Messiah College .She was an Honors student which not only included some money but also an invitation to attend small receptions for out of the area speakers like Sally Ride. Messiah has a beautiful campus, outstanding teachers, and has a well deserved good reputation. It may cost more than some are colleges but it is worth the cost.

The campus is so beautiful and clean, and easy to access for special events. Take some time to sit or pose for pictures by the Yellow Breaches.

Nice college. We use the parking to float the creek. Please be responsible and follow the rules. They do have security officers that patrol the parking. Do not ruin it for everyone of you use it to park for the float.

We came to visit the campus during our daughter's graduation. Beautiful, well manicured landscaping throughout the hilly campus. The covered bridge and creek added to the scenery.

Beautiful campus, well run university, and a good faith based community. A campus visit is a must for those seeking a top level liberal arts education.

Very clean Christian University. Great people on campus. The food was ok and should be better, but I will give them a pass during Covid 19. I know they are working on diversity, but if they can improve in any area that would be it! Impress with most everything else. Our administration personal was outstanding, a young lady from Columbia. I can't say enough good things about her. After graduating last year, she took a job at the university and is a great representation of the students they turn out at graduation! God Bless!

Beautiful campus in a pastoral setting in Eastern Pennsylvania. Warm and friendly, solid curriculum, and development of the whole person are key elements.

Phenomenal and exceptional Christian college that set me on the path to a successful career. Top notch staff and faculty who care about students and their futures. Messiah focuses on the whole student, encouraging them to serve and change the world for the better.

Was at the High Center at Messiah College for the Central PA friends of ? jazz. Sean Jones was playing with others and was at the Central PA Jazz Camp. Awesome time and place to listen.

A smaller Christian based school where my nephew is finishing his undergrad. It's a lovely rural PA campus with traditional dorms and meal plans. The tuition rivals some much larger schools as do the soccer teams currently.

This school is nothing but downgrading. My girlfriend attends here and I visit on weekends usually, since opposite sexes aren't allowed to bunk together I would sleep at random places around camous which doesnt bother me. But around morning time cleaning crew comes around and i have had nothing but problems. For instance my wallet was magically gone after waking up knowing no body but them were around me while i was sleeping. Another night I woke up to see my headphones and charger was gone too. This is only one issue out of hundreds. But this college is nothing good i promise anyone who wnats to come here or visit you will not be satisfied. Don't let them fool you

Amazing place to go to college! Loved the engineering program. The staff really made it the best. Beautiful campus with lots of places to hang out. Continuously doing renovations to keep the campus relevant.

Went to a christian school track event, nice track and field and glad they open it up to these group events to encourage younger/possible future students by extending a hand of partnership as a part of the family of God.

I am a current student at Messiah and a member of the baseball team. I love the school, atmosphere, and people here. It is the friendliest campus I have ever stepped foot on and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to further your education and relationship with God. If you are looking to party then this is not the place for you, don't waste your time.

I am a current student at Messiah College and I am very pleased with the school. The atmosphere is very friendly, the professors that I have or have had, have been helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The dinning halls provide decent food, and the buildings on campus are perfect walking distances away from each other. One of the best ways to get involved is joining The Collaboratory, which is a student run organization giving students of almost any major and of any school year a great way to do something they love while earning real-world work experience! It's an amazing opportunity that many school don't offer.
