I recently had to have repairs done on my vehicle due to someone backing into it. Based on favorable reviews I chose Thomas E Brown Auto Body Werks. So glad I did. Excellent work great communication and awesome customer service. I would definitely recommend them!! I am a very satisfied customer!!

Sadly, I have had to have auto body repairs on more than a couple of occasions. When it happens Thomas Browns has always been my go-to shop. They do top notch work, even going the extra mile like glueing an interior trim piece because they saw it needed to be glued back in place. Great communication, friendly service, they are one of the best in the area.

When my Volvo got pelted with rocks and debris, I dreaded dealing with body shops and insurance hassles. Browns Auto Body Werks in Mechanicsburg changed all that. Right from the start, they told me exactly what they were doing and why - no mystery or runaround. Here's what really got me - they found damage that my insurance company completely missed. Stuff that was definitely from the rocks and debris but got overlooked. Instead of just doing the bare minimum, they made sure to catch everything that needed fixing. They knew how to work with insurance too, which saved me a huge headache. The whole crew was just easy to work with - friendly people who actually get that having your car in the shop sucks. You can tell they've been doing this for 50 years because they know how to treat customers right and do solid work. My Volvo came out looking perfect, and they finished when they said they would. Honestly, it's hard to find a shop that does good work AND doesn't make you feel like you're bothering them. I'll definitely go back to Browns if I need body work again, and I've already told my friends about them. These guys earned my business.

My experience here was absolutely phenomenal. I don't know if I'll ever go to another body shop again. They were on time, did more than their share of working with my insurance(Progressive), and had 10/10 communication throughout the entire process start to finish. All and any questions I had were answered with confidence and it's obvious these folks know exactly what they're doing. Didn't try to stack on frivolous charges or upsell. They have nearly 5 stars for a reason!! I will recommend this place to everyone, don't bother going anywhere else.

Donnie and the crew over at Thomas E. Brown are fantastic. My wife had her car there 2 times in the past year or so. They make everything easy. They are professional, polite, accommodating, and run a clean operation. The work performed is awesome and can't tell the difference from factory new. They are our go to body shop. No reason to consider anywhere else for us. They work with Erie and Enterprise so, things are smooth and well managed. Great job guys! Thanks for everything.

Top notch body shop. I had to wait an extended time due to parts being on back order, which was out of their control, but am totally fine with that knowing my car came out in excellent shape. I was seriously impressed with their work and how they run their business. Would trust them again and again with any issues my car has.

These guys really do care about their work. My truck looked brand new when I got it back! My truck was damaged, some other body shop had done the repairs. All their work was failing, sloppy and crooked. They had even installed wrong parts. Brown's team listened to all of my concerns, and I felt like they had my best interest in mind. It was a refreshing experience compared to that other shop. All of my body lines look straight again too, which is important to me. These guys won't waste your time. Highly recommend! Don't let some other shop ruin your vehicle.

I had an extremely splendid experience with Thomas E brown, my estimate was amazing experience the gentleman that helped me explained everything throughly about my car and the damages also the repairs. The communication was on point I couldn’t ask for any better communication the helpful woman at the front desk called to inform me on everything that was happening with my insurance and my car, everything looked amazing when I got it all the new parts looked factory and brand new, the parts where put on correctly so that I could be safe to drive home everything was fully built and safe, the paint was extremely on point the new paint looked identical to my old paint, also thank you Thomas e brown for the cleaning they did when my car was done. Thank you to Thomas E brown for my amazing experience and I will definitely be coming back!!!

My 2020 Mustang is the fourth car, and second Mustang I’ve engaged Thomas E Brown’s Auto Body Werks to perform work on. And they did not disappoint. I have the piece of mind knowing the repairs done to my Mustang were done properly, by which I mean, to factory standard. My other Mustang, I had them replace the V6 bumper cover with a GT cover I supplied. When they were done, it looked like it came from the factory. Excellent folks to deal with, with skilled technicians who repair it right. Four vehicles, no disappointments.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Tom E. Browns Inc. After an accident, we simply wanted to get an estimate and sell the car, but they kept possession of my vehicle and aggressively pursued more insurance money, even though we had already settled with the insurance company for a fair amount. To make matters worse, they charged us $1,000 to "put the car back together" so we could drive it home, but instead, they just threw all the parts in the truck and half-attached my hitch. The car was not in a condition to drive, and it was obvious they were more interested in dragging the process out to get more money from the insurance. On top of that, the front desk staff was completely unhelpful. The girl at the front desk is completely incompetent. She was supposed to call me back twice and never did. One day, I showed up after the rental car company dropped me off, only to be told that the shop was closing in 30 minutes and I had to find my own way home because she never bothered to inform me that my car wasn’t ready. I felt completely stranded, and honestly, it felt like this was all a ploy to buy more time to chase down additional insurance money. Overall, my experience with Tom E. Browns Inc. was a nightmare. They were unprofessional, dishonest, and disorganized. I would not recommend them to anyone. Avoid them at all costs if you value your time and money!

Just had my vehicle repair here at Thomas e. Browns, and I’m beyond impressed with their communication, professionalism and most importantly the product. they kept me updated weekly on the progress of the repair, and sadly insurance companies take their sweet time approving repairs, but this place the minute they get approval the work is completed in a timely manner and repair very well. My car is back to its original state before the accident, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you to the body team, paint team and also super impressed with how clean the car was returned to me. Y’all knocked this outta the park!

Truck looks brand new, they did a great job!

My Subaru received back bumper damage in a not-at-fault accident. I reached out to Thomas Brown after seeing positive reviews. They made the entire process, from quote to repair to pick-up, extremely easy. They handled everything payment-wise through the other driver's insurance company. The actual repair took less than 2 days, but it looks brand new. They also gave my car a good cleaning which was much appreciated!

When my 10-day old car got damaged by a lawn-care company, I was frustrated to say the least. Thomas Brown brought the car back to perfect, "fresh off the show room floor" condition. New cars are incredibly complex with their sensors, adaptive lighting, collision assistance, etc; but Thomas Brown knocked it out of the park. Their estimate was incredibly inclusive and detailed, and it's evident they know what they're doing even with the the latest/greatest (complex) vehicle tech. I hope to not need a body shop for a while, but if I do, it's 100% going back to Thomas Brown.

Outstanding and amazing auto body work. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needs to do body work for her/his car at the highest level of quality. Thomas E. Brown is absolutely the best auto body shop, not only in North America, but in the world. The have performed an outstanding job. I was amazed when I picked up my Volvo S60 and saw how they did bring the vehicle to its new form and shape. Outstanding body, mechanical works, and accurate calibration of all the sensors and electronic systems. They do excellent internal detaining and external wash of the vehicle before picking it up.

The work was great. The accounting/billing was not. They got paid double our deductible, both from our insurance company and from us. We intentionally used them because they were on the list that our insurance company gave us. Apparently, there are no flags in their system for when they get paid $500 more than they charge. Especially, when they were notified prior the work being done that the deductible should be waived. If we hadn't started asking our insurance company where our money was after a month and a half, I'm not sure when we would have received our money. And when they called to refund our credit card, the girl had no clue what card we used (the last four digits are clearly listed on the receipt). Very friendly but no apology. All we saw were the excuses and apologies between our insurance and them on copies of their emails.

We are repeat customers of Thomas E. Brown, and for good reason. Excellent, timely work by a friendly and talented team for a fair price. This latest time we arrived with our 2010 Odyssey in need of a front bumper replacement and a new headlight. Before and After shown (we replaced both headlights given the wear on the undamaged one). We received our estimate in the time frame promised. We were kept up to date with progress via text. The work was done on time, on budget. Could not ask for more. We trust the team at Thomas E. Brown. We won't go anywhere else. Shout out to Donnie Hanna.

Years ago my sister had her Ford ZX2 repaired here. She had the driver quarter panel replaced after an accident. As seen in the pictures they partially overlapped part of the factory quarter panel extension into the rocker. Seam sealer/panel bond failed where it meets the factory rocker and at the pinchweld allowing water intrusion and rot. Rest of the car is relatively clean and for being 20 years old only has 112k miles. It failed inspection earlier this year because of this rot and was taken to Thomas E Brown to see about warranty replacement. They agreed to replace it free if they could find a new quarter… which never happened and here I am months later having to fix their screw up.

Did a fantastic job! Car looks great! Would absolutely use again, and will on my classic 300 ZX body mods! Returned to have the ZX done. Worth the wait!

This shop was recommended by a friend and I'm glad! Friendly staff, quick scheduling for an estimate, accurate on when the vehicle would be done, accurate estimate, they washed the exterior and cleaned the inside, no traces of any overspray or leftover cleaning products anywhere! They were helpful with my rental car, also!

Let me start out saying, that I never write reviews, but I can not say enough good things about this shop. From the very first encounter, though them constantly keeping me updated, to the final delivery, they were on point. They did a great job dealing with my insurance company, and we all know how much of a pain that can be. My wife's car looks as good as the day we bought it. I recommend Thomas E. Brown 100%.

Wife's car recently received some damage from an object on the highway thrown up by a truck. Thomas Brown had repaired a vehicle for us years ago and we were super impressed with them then. So we immediately knew where we were taking our car. I called our insurance company and they were also a recommended shop. Picked up the car today and I struggled to find any hint of damage (I couldn't). Not only was the car good as new but they washed & cleaned the exterior and interior and cleaned the tires & emptied our trash bag! As an aside, they called me earlier in the week to let me know they were keeping the car for an extra day because they weren't satisfied with the paint matching & wanted to repaint. These folks are awesome and I found out they are basically the same crew today from when I last brought a car in for repair years ago! Impressive all the way around. Highly recommend!!

I would highly recommend Thomas E Brown! I took my car here recently to get an estimate on my car door which wasn’t closing correctly. Within a few minutes, they had diagnosed the issue and were able to fix it on the spot! I was on my way within 30 minutes after arriving. It was an extremely pleasant experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my car back if I ever needed more complex work done.

They are professional and the quality of work is beyond compare! The work they did on my car was far superior than imagined. They walked the talk and delivered when they said they would and stayed within the estimated cost. The receptionist is extremely friendly and accommodating....her knowledge and professionalism is so refreshing! All in all I highly recommend (I will never take my car to anyone else)! Thank you!

Thomas Brown is by far the best cosmetic repair place you can get to. I've gone there a few times for cosmetic repairs and the car turns out flawless. The staff are friendly, the evaluators walk you through exactly what they're going to do and how much it would cost. This place is second to none. Thank you to the folks who made this car look flawless!! The picture below shows a finished product, the car had scrapes on the bumper, and holes where I took the front license plate off. Simply flawless.
