A 1 Brightside Auto Came to my rescue ?I had a headlight and the connector out about 8 pm as I was going to work . As I was passing by there shop I noticed they were still there working , So I pulled in and ask the owner if there is any way they could help me , and he was very nice and said sure pull in and we will take care of it for you. . That was very nice of them on short notice and 8pm at night. They took care of it and I was on my way in 30 min ?thank you Brightside !!! Y’all will have all my business. And I will recommend y’all to all my friends and family for your great work .

They charge me 900 for a starter replacement and I was only to drive it two days because they never fixed my problem. I still can’t drive my truck

I had a oil change here. Staff were professional and did a great job.

We were driving back from Maryland and our Alternator went out. We called and they told us to come in and they would check it out. Great customer service and they didn't break the bank! Thank you for taking good care of us!!!

I have had my car serviced twice and I must say Lewis has been thorough in explaining what is needed and why. My report is very detailed for complete understanding ?. A1 Brightside was thourgh and professional in the great work that they did on my 2008 Infiniti EX35. In the past other car repair shops would just mask the problem with my AC unit. A1 Brightside did a thourgh inspection located the issue communicated it to me , I approved it , they installed a new compressor and dry and I'm so happy and well pleased with their service . It feels wonderful now to have cold air blowing and heat in my car. I highly recommend A1 Brightside. They know what their doing. The Lord led me to them and I give Him all of the praises!! Thank you A1 Brightside you guys are amazing! May the Lord continue to bless all now and forever more.

Very professional team of mechanics!!! These guys have been there, done that and got the T-shirt!!! They were attentive to detail, timely, and Possesses exceptional job knowledge!!! I will definitely visit their shop again!!!!

The staff here was very extremely kind. My alternator started failing on a roadtrip and I stopped here and they worked very quickly to get my issue fixed and get me back on the road. I also happened to have a fever and they helped to make sure I felt better and gave me water and snacks. Great people and timely work!!

I went to this shop after reading great reviews. I needed an oil change and wheel alignment. The staff were great. A bit slow but enjoyed my time waiting and talking with staff and other customers. Vera (front desk) was very friendly and professional. It has a friendly family vibe and Mike (mechanic) thoroughly explained and showed what was wrong with my vehicle and very upfront with what he was able to fix and not. A bit pricey but nonetheless, the service was amazing! I would highly recommend.

I called A1 Brightside when my car started overheating and Triple A was towing it to their shop. They were quick to respond, very professional, and had me feeling reassured right away. The team diagnosed the issue and had everything fixed the same day, which I really appreciated. Great communication, and fast service ;you can tell they care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever need more work done!

I had the most wonderful experience with A 1 Brightside. I called in a panic actually in tears and Miss Vera was so pleasant and kind which calmed my nerves. She went out of her way to assure me that they could help after I was told no auto repair in Rocky Mount could service my car because it was a Volvo. They took great care of me and my vehicle. I had many questions and the owner took the time to answer them all. They stayed after hours until I could make it there to pick up my car. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff and the service. My experience with A 1 Bightside reminded me that there are still great people in this world wanting to help those in need. I will continue to have all my car repairs done there and encourage you to do the same!

First off let me just say there more than a great auto shop, they treat you like family I love the whole team and have huge respect for them also. My name is Bishop J.Jordan, I don’t know this Louis Paez with my phone number… I had Part A completed on my Mercedes Benz, they did an outstanding service on my car, as a matter of fact they recommended a few tires, ? so I’m getting (4) new tires today…. Thanks ?? for everything

My clutch went out on the highway on a Friday morning while I was traveling. I was already 4 hours from home. I called over 20 different shops around the area and A1 Brightside was the only shop that said they could get me in to take a look that same day. The whole clutch assembly needed to be replaced, which is labor intensive, so I knew it would take a while, maybe a week. I was planning on traveling back up that way that following Thursday night and asked if they could get it done in time. Their transmission guy was going out of town that week, so Monday, he literally stayed up working on the transmission until 1:30am and was back there at 8am to finish the job Tuesday!!! Their normal hours are 8am-6pm. THERE ARE VERY FEW SHOPS THAT WOULD DO THAT!!! They got everything done Tuesday, and worked with me to get someone else there to pay (as I’m 4 hours away and was working) and to hide the keys, so I could pick the car up after hours. They did a phenomenal and clever job at hiding the keys. Everything works well with the clutch and shifting feels tighter and overall has a better feel. The lady at the front is so sweet and it’s a friendly atmosphere there. Overall great and quick experience, especially for a transmission job, which a lot of shops don’t even do, as transmissions are “too complicated” for a lot of shops.

These guys are the best. We had a tire blow on the way down to Florida and came here and both Vera and Bashar went above and beyond to find us a tire and get it put on that same day. I was so happy with their A+ service that I actually stopped on the way back from Florida to get the other tires replaced as well. Thank you so much we will always be grateful!

Yes I’m very happy with the company. They are very professional and keep you updated on things that’s going on with your vehicle. I love the texting app they have it’s lets you know what they are doing or if you want to have the service done. I give them a 10/10. I recommend this company..

On the last leg of a 14hr road trip, our car started screeching and vibrating on I95 Southbound. We called the shop half hour before they closed and they agreed to wait for a tow company to get our car there. We didn't arrive until about half an hour AFTER the shop closed. Vera & Bashar were so kind and accommodating! They stayed late to take a look at our vehicle, quickly helped us with the repair and did NOT charge us an exuberant amount of money. We are SUPER impressed and SO grateful for their decency. I would give 10 stars if I could. THANK YOU VERA, BASHAR & Staff!!! ⭐✨??⭐?

I drive an hour to get my car maintenance at A-1. They never disappoint! I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. Everyone from the reception area to the garage is professional and courteous! I dropped my car off on 3/5/2025 around 8:10am.They started the service work on it immediately. They were prompt and did an awesome job. It was ready in about 4 hours. I'm always treated with the best service when I go here.Everyone is so nice and respectful. Kudos to A 1 Brightside Auto LLC!!

This Place Deserves 10 Stars. I found them on line after weeks of frustration from work that was done from another shop. It was the Great Reviews that led me to them. They Went Above And Beyond They took the time to listen and assured me that they would address all my concerns. My check engine light was on and the car was running rough. They throughly checked All work that was previously done from the other shop. Their picture taking ability gave absolute confirmation that the other shop did faulty work and deceived me by selling me used Parts but charging for New. I Am Ever So Grateful. I was traveling on my first camping trip & the transmission temp said HOT!! I was in the area of Rocky Mount and I called briteside on a Friday before Labor Day weekend. They graciously squeezed me in and looked at my car thoroughly and found the problem. If I lived near RM I they would be my transmission people. Finally made it to camp. ?
