A+++ Highly recommend. I dropped off a starter, they said it would take 2hrs. I ran down the road to Wendy's and while eating, they called and said it was ready. Didn't even take 45mins. Starter worked better than a new one.
Dishonest and expensive!! Called about 20 times a day for 2 days just to get a quote and they never picked up the phone. So, i went there in person to see a very disorganized shop and spoke to a young man about getting the alternator for my honda accord rebuilt, no installation as i can do it myself to save money. He tried to charge me $480 and after watching me gasp for air at the price he tried to insure me that it’s justified because the parts alone to get it rebuilt will cost $300, that was a lie as i previously did my research and found parts for $100. For $480, i might as well purchase a brand new alternator, it shouldn’t cost this much to get a simple alternator rebuilt! Eventually I found a guy 30 minutes away in Madison “JT’s Starters and Alternators” to rebuild it for me for just $150, well worth the 30 min drive!
never come back i come to rebuilt alternator he say cash only ok fine charge me $190 and said change everything inside and warrranty90 day and i ask for receipt he say writing on the alternator . when i install the battery light still on so go to auto zone check bad alternator i go back ask him then he use his hang push hard so the wire loose then say i not tight good that why make alternator turn bad so the warranty void . check again another $190.so i go to another place to fix they say he doesn't change alternator brush holder and regulator he only change rectifier those thing are bad that why when i install the light still on.
make me think he scam me so never come back
Been dealing with these folks for many years from VW's to motor homes if they cannot fix it nobody can.
Gotta take my 2000 4-Runner there for an Alternator rebuild. Not working at present. So come Monday or Tuesday they can be prepared.
I went to Carolina Quality Starters & Alternators thinking I was about to have to pay to have my alternator rebuilt. Antonio told me my battery was actually bad and to check that first. I got a new battery and came back to see him. He confirmed I did not need a new alternator! Please go see Antonio if you have any issues with your alternator or starter. Honest, helpful and quality work!
They do great work and you will save a lot of money by having your starter or alternator rebuilt, compared to the cost of a new one. I've used them many times over the years and have never had any problems. I would definitely recommend them.
Antonio is a brilliant young man. I brought him an alternator from an obsolete 25-year-old hyundai, it’s my beater. I drive it 60 miles to work and it serves the purpose… So I would like to keep it going as long as possible. It was between two holidays and for the later they’re going to be closed for a week and he searched for parts and couldn’t find any. When he realize I was a mechanic, he offered to build an alternator for me that had the same bolt pattern, but was a different brand from a newer Hyundai, I was all for it. It was the end of the day, hot, but he stayed a little bit after closing to get it done for me. That man save me a lot of time and money because I had already purchased a reman from an auto parts store and it didn’t work. I should’ve just went there to start with, but it all worked out in the end. He did, what most people wouldn’t even bother to do and I’m appreciative of his service!
Antonio did an awesome on anything I have brought him. Really impressed by his attention to details and getting job done. He is honest and fair. This man deserves a raise.
Price done went up so much you might as well buy new and the service rude.. but mechanics gonna be mechanics.. just know the cost is as much as AutoZone or advance or wherever.. shop around
First time using Carolina Quality and will be a customer from now on. Michelle is highly knowledgable,professional,fast,and courteous. If u have a charging or starting problem this is your place. You will get a far better result letting them fix yours versus buying the garbage you get from all the "parts stores",plus u will save some $. If you have a starter or alternator, or even a generator for a 6 volt system that needsto work again, bring it here and pay them a reasonable fee and they will make that happen if it is possible to repair. Good people, I've been using them for a couple years now and haven't been anything but happy with the work that they accomplish and the money that we save by using them.
Literally the best service I’ve had from a mechanic shop. Always spoke to a lady and she has the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Fixed my alternator and price was very affordable. If you have a problem with your alternator please try this shop out.

Very friendly staff, they helped me with my alternator for half of what they charge you for a replacement at the parts store, and you keep your original equipment! Shops like this are invaluable and not be overlooked!
The guy's here are super nice and they were able to fix my alternator for a hell of a lot cheaper than any place else. From the first phone call to picking my car up the customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend coming here. They do good work and stand behind it.

Great service. I thought my starter was out, but it turned out, it was the wire connection to the battery. They could have just replaced the starter like I asked but they troubleshoot the issue and saved me some money. The only place I'll ever go for starter or alternator work.
