Great service, got inspection done and some body work. Definitely recommend them.

I have known the business owners / Brothers Randy and Scott for 25 years. They are exceptional human beings. This matters a great deal because the core foundation of any business is the character and leadership of the owners. And they do good work simply because they Care.

My daughter was traveling through Greensboro from out of town when she experienced engine trouble. I reached out to a friend for a recommendation, and he recommended Foreign Accents. Scott and team did a great job, arranged for the car to be towed to their shop, correctly identified the issue and repaired it in a timely fashion for a reasonable price. Honestly, as someone who doesn't live in Greensboro, the opportunity may have been there to try to upsale me on additional unnecessary repairs, and they did not do that. They even washed the car before pickup! 100% recommend.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I brought my 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 to Foreign Accents for a suspension conversion from AIRMATIC to coil springs, based on the recommendation of the owner, Scott Beeniga. Unfortunately, the installation was done improperly and has left me with serious problems. From the very first day I picked up the vehicle, the check engine light came on. When I reported it, I was told to “ignore it.” Not long after, the car broke down completely and had to be towed. Instead of taking responsibility, the shop denied any fault and refused to help until I filed a BBB complaint. After couple mos of using it.The shock at the rear shock sag down making the car undrivable .I called and let them know .Refused to take responsibity.Reported this NC Atty. General. They responded to NC Atty General ." That if I willing to get the car towed there they will check and repair without any charge .During that time of calling them for 3 weeks to talk to the owner which im denied.I decided to get the car towed at Mercedes Benz in Winston Salem. To make matters worse, when I took my vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Winston-Salem to restore it back to the original AIRMATIC suspension, I was told it was impossible to return it to factory condition because of the way Foreign Accents performed the coil spring installation. This has left my vehicle unsafe, undrivable, and significantly devalued. Throughout this process, communication was extremely poor. I repeatedly tried to speak with the owner and was denied. I was also misled about my battery, which was already new and under warranty. Foreign Accents has not taken responsibility for their improper work, leaving me to face significant repair costs and the permanent loss of my vehicle’s original suspension system. I cannot recommend this shop and strongly caution others to avoid trusting them with complex or high-value vehicles. In reply to Foreign Accents.I was threaten by one of the staff his name is Peter .He said he is going to get my car dispose or towed it some storage. .The car is not ABANDONED !!!.It has been reported to NCDMV License and Theft Bureau about them not taking responsipilty .It has case # and will be investigated. You will be held liable in law if you move my vehicle without my proper authorization, false accusation and threatening your customer that trusted you that you can do the job. They have refused to repair the car.And they want me to get my car back that is undrivable. They accused me of having accident and they collaborate with Strutmusters to avoid responsibilty of their Sloppy job..If I can give 0 rating this what they really deserve. As an Asian American I was very uncomfortable with the way I was treated by the staff.I felt there was a clear difference in how they spoke to me vs other customers. They were short and dismissive with me,which made me feel uncomfortable.

Best decision I ever made. I have taken my Volkswagen CC to several different places, and it was never fixed or diagnosed correctly. My VW had an upper and lower oil pan leak, causing my oil to leave a pile of oil anywhere I went. These guys fixed the issues, and my car has never run better. Thank you all for your services and for making us feel welcome. KT

Had an Austin Healey towed there because it wouldn't start. While that did not happen while in their possession, all they did was start it - no looking under the hood to see what might have caused the car to not start previously. But they certainly charged an arm & a leg for a half hour of "labor". Got the car home and - you guessed - it won't start again.

They did a great job with my car. Have been there several times for various things and always have good results and stand by their work. Thanks!

Broke down on a trip passing through. My vehicle is unique requiring expertise and understanding outside of normal repair shops. Foreign Accents fixed me up quickly, were extremely accommodating, and some of the nicest people you'll encounter. 10/10 recommend.

Actually visited James at Autofocus but Foreign Accents has been my Joan's go to mechanic for many years. Fast and reliable. Picking up our very well sorted, new to us, Toyota Highlander tomorrow morning. Thank you James!

If I could leave 0 stars I would have. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE WITH THEM. 3 hours to do a diagnostic for my engine with NO ANSWERS AND HAD THE NERVE TO ASK FOR MORE TIME. My bill came to approx. $400 for them to essentially just clean my engine off. The mechanic could not tell me any specifics of what he actually did for 3 hours. The sales/service man was very dismissive when asked for clarification what it took them 3 hours to do. They have complete disregard for people’s time as this was my second attempt to get the diagnostic done; my first appointment I was told “the mechanic had jury duty” as the reason he could not get to my vehicle in 6 hours. I honestly don’t know how they sleep at night ripping people off like that but please save your time and money and go ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

I think I see a pattern. I just would like to have honest mechanic with integrity. As a human being we all have this right. To pay 2500 and still have same leak you bought vehicle in for is not appropriate. So now to correct this leak is another 700. I think if I had read posts I would not have come to the establishment because the same demeanor displayed in non thoughtful defensive responses to customers are same as cold flat effect I experienced at store. Glad to see some are serviced with a good experience. I have learned that complaining usually creates more problems but can't live life worrying about others good faith.

I've been going here for close to 30 years. I've always had a great experience and quality service for our cars. I've also bought several cars from AutoFocus over the years because James is so knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. When I was considering a different car for my commute, Randy was glad to answer any questions and make recommendations based on his expertise of over 50 years in the business. He and Scott have always been helpful and operate with the highest integrity. I love hearing all of the car stories, too. I just brought a car in I was considering purchasing and wanted them to check it out first. They took me back to the bay and the mechanic showed me several things with the car. They have always been trustworthy and a pleasure to do business with. A true gem here in Greensboro!

So I thought I had found a good mechanic shop but NO! Worst experience ever I paid almost $1300 for an repair on my q7 Audi and never less in about 3 weeks later the car had the same problem! So I called several times and was told the car should be fine until the mechanic who works on Audi comes back from vacation! The car got worst so my husband took it to his mechanic to find out the part was not replaced and if so it was a used part! Ended up paying 1800$ or so to get the car fixed correctly elsewhere! So I go back there with my receipts as proof for the manager to be like oh well nothing I can do! Asked why didn't I come back I tried only to hear the car fine until the mechanic comes back! Then hear from a worker at Foreign Accent that he goes on beer runs for when it's slow and they drink beer a couple hours before closing! Ended up seeing their shuttle driver around 3p.m leaving Food Lion with a case of beer while driving the shuttle vehicle! I wouldn't recommend anyone with a foreign car to go there the name is deceptive! In fairness I only wanted my money back for the part I supposedly paid for be careful out here when looking for a mechanic shop that's honest do your research! THEY ARE A RIP OFF

I bought my car from their partner used car shop, but I have taken it here for a few other issues and inspections. Honestly, the techs were great. He took care of one problem and told me to come in and chat about the inspection. I had a check engine light, and it wouldn't pass emissions due to a bad catalayic converter. It's a higher mileage car with 190k, so it's not worth the 2k for a new cat. But NC has an exemption program if you spend $200 "trying to fix the emissions." Many repairs qualify under this (spark plugs, O2 sensors, etc), but I was not given those opions from the front office guy and was heckeled by some guy in the back of the office, for "not actually fixing the issue." Why would I spend half of a cars value on something that was already replaced when I bought the car, and it doesn't actually impact the functionality of the car. Also, NC legislature voted to remove emissions testing from vehicles in last years budget bilĺ but it's not yet implemented. So, in a year, this won't even be tested nor required. I took it to another shop for the repair to qualify for the exemption. But I still had to deal with this place for the inspections, since they failed me the first time. It took a week to schedule an "inspection appointment" each time and at least an hour each visit. Just go to quick shops for inspections, and there are far better reasonable and personable places for actual work. Especially if it's an import.

Took my BMW X3 in to check my coolant leak. Was greeted by Scott, the owner who took my vehicle back to a bay where Steve, the technician checked under the hood. Both men were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They detected a leak in my upper radiator hose. They were very thorough in showing me and telling me what was needed, and they gave me an estimate for the repairs. Scheduled an appointment for next day. Dropped off vehicle next morning and the vehicle was repaired in a timely manner for a reasonable price. The staff treats you like family and really cares and appreciates your business. I give them 5 stars and my highest recommendation!!

I could write a long post about my experience, but I will keep this as short as I can. I checked to see if they could do an engine install and they confirmed they could. I was very clear about what needed to be done. They did not do the work as directed and ignored manufacturers requirements as well as my own directions. This included not installing a break in tune for the forged engine. Any car enthusiast will know how big of a mistake this is. They drove the car several hundred miles to "break it in" without permission or notifying me. I spoke with them about this and how unhappy I was about it, and they assured me they were experienced professionals and knew what they were doing. After breaking it in, they then realized they forgot to install a fuel pump and I needed to bring the car back. Turns out they do make mistakes, very big ones. On delivery of the vehicle the car was parked against the hill on the left side of shop, my exhaust was full of grass and dirty from where it had been backed into the hill. After this experience, for some reason I went back to have them mount some tires and do an alignment. They or one of their shops they outsource to cross threaded THREE of the lug nuts. They refused to accept responsibility and I had to pay over $300 to have that fixed. One of the worst shops and most arrogant mechanics I've done business with. I love the building.

For whatever reason I can’t add a 2nd review so I’m deleting my original ( which was a positive one ) and adding this new update. I’ve now purchased 3 vehicles from here. All three came in for their first oil change or before to have something looked at. I was never charged for that first repair. A new window actuator and panel on my 84 merc a new CV boot on my CRV and recently leaking O rings on my Acura. All roughly 500 or so worth of work done for free. I’ve loved every car I’ve purchased from here and yes you pay high prices for work but they back it up 100% I’d rather not be cheap now then pay more later down the road. Also I miss that Jennifer isn’t there anymore.

I brought my Jeep for a pre-purchase inspection. Everything went smoothly, and they told me everything about the car. If you need anything related to service, just call them, make an appointment, and it's done. Don't go to places that are too cheap or too expensive; this is the right place for you when it comes to your car

Foreign Accents has a customer for life! I honestly can't say enough good things about this shop. I was having issues with an obscure diesel land cruiser of mine, and with out batting an eye, they put their experts on in and got it running again. They were incredibly helpful, professional, and overall a pleasure to work with. I would rate them 10 stars if I could.

Never bring your car to Foreign Accents. I’ve tried them twice in 3 years. They overcharge in every possible way. It’s a ripoff. I brought my car in for a brake job. They charged $77 just to look at the car!! (Literally $77 for visual inspection! (See photo attached). Then, it took all day for them to even look at it (drop off 8am - ready at 5pm). They had poor communication on updates, I had to call them to get updates on my vehicle’s status! To top it off, they then quote me $1,900 for an $800 brake job. And of course they inspected everything without my asking for it. And that report totaled $4,000 worth of repairs; which is what you would expect from a lousy upselling mechanic. They clearly didn’t want my business. Take your European cars over to Carr Industries by the airport and thank me later.

I recently had my Porsche Cayenne serviced at Foreign Accents Repair. From the moment I entered the door. Kristie & Joe were extremely welcoming. I explained to Joe, what serviced I require. His response was no problem we can performed that service for you. And he recommended Steve, the Porsche Service tech will be performing your service. I felt comfortable after our conversation. Keep in mind this was my first time doing business with Foreign Accent. After my service was done I was introduced to Steve. He explained exactly what was done on my SUV, and it’s current condition of the vehicle. I was pleasantly pleased about the condition of my Porsche. I’ll be a returning customer. Have some GREEN TEA next time!!

Car serms happy after tune up. Run by 2 brothers, spotlessly clean, can even visit the maintenance area. Coffee, water and very nice waiting area. Everyone very professional and personable. Every customer seemed happy, and staff seemed to know them. Chatted with Randy, who is incredibly wide-ranging in interests and knowledge. They also pair you with a mechanic, which is wonderful, like having a family doctor. Exceptional business.

I can't say enough good things about the service I received at Foreign Accents. I called around to about 5 other auto repair and tire shops trying to find someplace that would fix the slow leak in one of my tires of my Tesla Model Y and none would accommodate me. The service department at Foreign Accents told me they'd be happy to help. Not only were they friendly and professional, they were FAST. They had my tired plugged and repaired in under 30 minutes AND it was super affordable. Seriously, these people deserve your business when it comes to repairing your car. Give them a shot, you won't be disappointed.

We had purchased a beautiful Volvo from AutoFocus, we noticed an issue with the a/c that would not have been obvious. Foreign Accents fixed it free of charge and had it back to me the next day. Phenomenal service, we will definitely be going back for regular maintenance (and to buy our next vehicle!). Stellar experience.

We came here through a family referral and didn't regret it, we were treated like family ourselves by Randy the owner and all of the staff. Everyone had a smile, checked on us while we waited. They turned a horrible day into a better one by being so kind, and made sure we knew about everything they were doing to look at our car and find out what and how much it would cost. We can't praise and appreciate enough the service and respect we got not just as customers but as people here, and would -highly- recommend using this shop for your car needs. Thank you very much, we appreciate you!

Foreign Accents does a phenomenal job in servicing my older model Jaguar. They are great about providing me the estimated cost once known and always work diligently to make sure I am satisfied in the repair. Last week, I even had a circumstance where the air conditioning was not performing well and was able to bring it in on the way out of town and they repaired and recharged it within 2 hours without any delay to our trip. Peter and Jennifer are always pleasant in the front office and Tim has great Jag experience and is always meticulous in providing the best resolutions to repair and maintenance issues. Can't say enough about the "customer experience" when visiting this business.

I bring my Subaru here for regular and major maintenance. Chuck is a master and just a very kind person that I can trust to give me honest and reliable service. The staff are efficient and willing to help how they can. I appreciate the fact that they will drop you off at work and come pick you up if you have to leave your car with them. It's my understanding that they have master technicians in most foreign car brands. Would recommend.

I would like to commend Scott and his staff at Foreign Accents. I was in Greensboro for the day on business. I had an issue with my vehicle when I arrived. I was at a loss as to making my appointment and getting back home. I called Foreign Accents and spoke with Jennifer, she was a delight to deal with. She first told me that they would be able to give me a diagnosis the same day and should be able to make the repairs the next day. I made three other calls before getting to Foreign Accents and non of the other repair shops would even look at my car for a day or two. I had my car towed in that day, they provided me with a loaner car to make my business appointment and gave me a diagnosis and price that same day. My car was repaired promptly the next day and within 24 hours I was back on the road. The service was great with a price to match. Thanks again to Scott and Jennifer at Foreign Accents!

Quality service! I brought in my 2010 Range Rover Sport for an oil change. They definitely treated me like family. They even provided transportation to and from work while they serviced my car. I received a call that my car was ready and that they noticed a couple of things to take care of. I really appreciate the fact that they took the time to review these things as they could become a big issue later, along with doing quotes on the services i would eventually need. It is safe to say that i am a new customer and will continue to come to them for great service! Thanks to Jennifer, Tim, the gentleman that gave me a ride to and from work (name slips my mind at the moment but great guy!) and the rest of staff for the top notch service and atmosphere!

7/25/17 I was driving to Winston-Salem from Greensboro for a back surgery appointment and a very kind man caught my eye & informed me I was missing my back right tire. I followed his to Discount Tire where he happened to be going and missing my MD appointment, I drove home with 4 new Michelin tires and info that the spiraling of the tire had cut some wires and my check engine light on. I drove straight to Foreign Accents where I have received excellent service in the past. Jennifer, Service Advisor, greeted me her usual smile and professional attitude. She advised me that Chuck, their Subaru Certified Mechanic, was unavailable but reassured me Foreign Accents would take care of my baby, a 2002 Subaru Forester by the end of the day on 7/26. Much to my surprise she arranged for Owner Randy to drive me home. He smiled and listened as I talked his poor ears off. At mid-day, Jennifer called to let me know the emission wiring and some other mechanic language stuff had been taken care of. In that I was nurturing a broken foot and a broken back, she understood that I'd rather pick up my girl on 7/28 with no problem. Driver Kent (who remembered me as I was his 1st customer on his 1st day of work) arrived lickety-split to drive me back only to find out the front right wheel of his Subaru had malfunctioned and killed his car. Awaiting a tow truck, it was only minutes later that Jim, a Sales Associate arrived to drive me and the driver back to the shop. John, a mechanic was able to fix my car using old parts from a car in the back kept for the sole purpose and saving me a small fortune. As Owner Scott showed me the car and all the extra work they had completed at no additional charge, I couldn't help but smile thinking of the terrific attitudes and team-work of the Foreign Accents' team. I paid Jennifer a very equitable price with a Bosch credit card she had helped me obtain my last visit which was costly beyond my means to pay. Driving home, I marveled at what a great place Foreign Accents is for their customers complete with Wi-Fi, a clean restroom and a clean and comfortable waiting area with free drinks and goodies for anyone waiting. The team was so efficient, there was no waiting this visit. I highly recommend Foreign Accents who likes affordable car care by a highly expert team who made me feel like one of their family. They adhere to the premise that without customers they would have no business, so go out of their way to consistently give excellent service. And guess what, I learned they sell cars too and work with prospective buyers to give them the best possible price and affordable pricing options! Go Foreign Accents' team. You absolutely rock!!! I assure you all of their customer's agree as they are always busy but still take the time to make you feel as if you were their only customer. If you've never been there, I highly recommend you give them a try. I guarantee you'll be as happy as I was. Sincerely, Vicki Vance :)
