I have brought my vehicle to GMC for service several times and there has not been a time I brought my vehicle and was not missing something out of the vehicle or something was wrong. Yes! Shame on me for continuously coming here as they are very convenient since I live in the area on one occasion, I was missing my wheel lock and had to turn around and return to get the wheel lock and we know that wheel locks are very expensive and had I left and noticed that days later of course they would’ve said they left it in the vehicle. One occasion I also brought my vehicle in for tires and was missing the air stem on the vehicle keep in mind I purchased the vehicle at the GMC in Smithfield so therefore they didn’t have the air stamps at their location. I had to replace all four because no one seems to know where the air cap stem went to they had to replace the caps with something that was not of the original. I have also received an oil change here in which they did not screw the oil pan cap tight enough and oil leaked in my driveway, causing a huge stain. I didn’t realize my car was leaking oil until the next morning and of course, no accountability from the service department. They have gone through changes in staff in this department, which is an indicator that someone is noticing the poor performances of their service workers. I will be trying out a new location because this is getting ridiculous and the manager I spoke with was very nonchalant about my concerns.

I went in here a few months ago and meant to leave this review. I was looking for a new Yukon. They almost ignored me coming in the door. The salesman didn’t act like they want to talk to me. Finally one did in my experience was definitely subpar with a nonchalant attitude about selling/showing me any vehicles. I ended up buying a Tahoe that same day from someone else. Just my experience…

DO NOT take your vehicle to this dealership for service. I took my 2017 GMC sierra there because a lifter failed. Got my truck back and noticed the AC wasn’t blowing cold air, there ended up being a hole in the AC condenser. They said there was no fault if theirs so I fixed the part myself. A month later I noticed the valve cover gasket was leaking even though they had just replace them. I took the valve cover off and they broke my valve cover and tried to JB weld it back together.

In summary: GMC took my money, didn’t deliver the product, and now the management is not calling me back. Maybe I should replace my Yukon XL Denali for a new Ford Expedition or a Lincoln Navigator just so I can deal with a professional dealership. Background: In early November, we had a crack in the wheel (rim) of our GMC Yukon XL Denali, and we took it to the dealership to get a replacement (I drove there on a spare). The dealership ordered a new wheel right away, we paid for it upfront, and they put the old wheel in the trunk of my car while we waited for the new wheel and install (the tire is fairly new, so we are going to reuse it). The issue: It is now the week of Christmas (6 weeks later). The dealership has brought in several wheels for us but all were the wrong color. With young kids in travel sports, we have now driven a couple thousand miles on a spare (as any other spare, it says “not intended for extended use”). We have a large vehicle because we need a lot space, but I can’t even use it since I keep driving with the massive wheel filling up my trunk (I don’t know when they will call to swap the wheel). I keep calling the dealership several times a week to speak with the manager - each time I leave a voicemail and/ or message with the employee answering the phone. Each time I get no response, but I have now spoken to enough people (who first answer the call) that they all have notes about talking to me (the employees I speak to are very nice and really trying to be helpful, but unfortunately not in position to help). The only time I managed to talk to the manager was a few weeks ago (between the first and second wrong color wheel) after I somehow ended up getting connected to a sister dealership in Winston Salem, and one of their employees or managers called the Greensboro location for me. At that time, the Greensboro manager told me that “he was looking into it, and would get back to me soon”. Weeks have gone by. Voicemails were left. Crickets… I understand that there may be struggling with internal communication about the wheel, but that does not have to drive a lack of external communication with a customer who already paid for the product and is just looking for a reasonable timeline for the resolution. It’s Christmas season so I have been patient, but escalating this through either the court, the GMC corporate leadership, the media or all of the above is high on the list of my New Year’s Resolutions.

Car went in for a stopped up defrosting ductwork. Ended up taking three visits to get the work done. 1. Visit was cancelled by dealer upon our arrival. Said they were swamped 2. Visit was completed and a loaner car was provided N.C. 3.Work was not complete so had to return a third time. Had to wait a few hours to complete. No loaner or other accommodation offered. We Liked everyone working there, friendly and helpful. But, it was difficult and abusive to the customer to get the work done. The clean out of our defrost system had problems with the labor available and the time it took. I said so. The response from FLOW was BS in that they asked what they could do to make better. Let's see what they already know. When you get there- THEY HAVE YOUR CAR_ maybe a loaner till the work gets done? While you are waiting for an improperly done repair- They could offer you free service to compensate for your time they misspent. Generally, SOMETHING offered in good faith is better than nice BS offered while you wait for the job you have paid for to be done properly. FLOW KNOWS THIS ALREADY> THIS RESPONSE IS INSULTING BS>

Prior to arriving at Flow, I emailed online for a respectful, knowledgeable, and compassionate sales associate. I received an email in return from the General Manager stating we would be given an appointment with Steve Lynn. We received exactly what we were looking for in a dealership/sales associate!!! Five star +! We highly recommend FLOW Auto Center! We drove away with a beautiful Denali truck!! Thank you!!

I just purchase a 2026 sierra 1500 here. The master brake cylinder was broken when I went to pick it up. I was lied to and told it was just a sensor. My first payment was due before Id even drove it off the lot. Then it was 11 days before it was fixed. Was promised something extra was going to be thrown in for my patience and inconvenience. No money was knocked off the price no free oil changes or anything extra thrown in. I was given a mug by the GM for my troubles as Im sure anyone who buys there gets automatically. Ill never go back there for anything I have to spend my money on. Very disappointed wasnt even excited to have it at this point aggravated and angry...if my bank hadn't sent the check before I picked it up. I wouldnt have even bought it and would have went elsewhere. All together a horrible experience for my for first new vehicle purchase

Purchased a new vehicle from this location in May 2024. In June 2025 I found that the passenger side floorboard under the all weather floor mat was very wet. Took to the dealership and 2 days in was told the had to replace a sensor. Got it back things seemed fine. When vacuuming it yesterday I found a soaking wet floorboard on the passenger side and also a pretty wet floor in the drivers side as well! I called to get an appointment and inquired on a courtesy car, was told they did not have one available. I told her that I would need something to drive while being repaired and she then said they don’t do that anymore. I then asked which was it, that she’d told me 2 different things in a matter of seconds! She replied that they do but didn’t have anything available and said she was going to transfer me to the dealership. After holding a few minutes she came back and said no one was answering and that she would send a note over to them and have them call me. 7 hours later still no call. In the meantime I had called another GMC dealership and when asked about a courtesy car, and told him what Flow GMC had said, and he said that all GMC dealerships have a contract with Hertz and that a courtesy car most definitely should be available, even if it was a rental! Needless to say I will NOT be taking my vehicle back to Flow GMC for any reason! BAD customer service….and obviously service department as well since I am now having the same problem and it’s worse this time! Don’t go to Flow GMC!!!

Sal, Mike and Josh were incredible to work with. From the moment we met Sal, I knew that he was the one who would likely sell us our future vehicles. He was funny, accommodating, realistic and just a pleasure to work with. Mike was hysterical and also very accommodating. Josh was very sweet and had clever jokes as we signed off on our purchase. Update: The service manager contacted me after I posted and asked me to bring the vehicle back in. I had been out of town so I had a chance to take my truck in today. I showed the service manager how I numbered the tires so I knew the had not been rotated. Flow did make the situation right and I am good now. I have changed my rating to 3 ( wanted to change it to 3.5) stars and did not cancel my service contract. Simple communication could have this much better, but I think we are on the right track now. After I returned home, I crawled under my truck to inspect the work done. (I marked the oil filter, oil plug and tires for identification to ensure they were actually serviced.) The oil filter had been replace and the oil plug had been removed; however the oil filter was leaking. I removed the excess oil and tightened the filter and took a short drive. Now the oil filter is not leaking good thing I checked it. Now to the tires. A tire rotation was not performed as stated on the service paper work. I am sure of this because the tires are in the same locations as they were when I marked (Numbered) them. I called the service department the day of service and asked to speak to Mark, the service writer. The call went to his voice mail. I waited about 3 hours and did the exact same thing. I did not receive a call back. The next day I called the service department and asked to speak to the service manager, the call went to his voice mail and I have not received a call back. On Friday July 11, 2025; I got a text message from Mark thanking me for entrusting us with your vehicle and stating I would be getting an email survey. This text message also stated, "If your service was not preformed to your satisfaction, let me know. Thanks!" I replied, Please give me a call and gave him my number. So, I am not to upset about the leaky oil filter or non-rotation of the tires but the lack of follow up after multiple calls and text messages really pisses me off! I have not heard anything from service manager. I even bought a service contract from Flow Buick GMC Greensboro while my truck was supposed to being taken care of. Now I am wondering how I can void this contract and get a refund. I have given the dealership ample time to respond and yet nothing! Thanks,

Quite possibly the best car buying experience I have ever had. What started out as a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at the Winston location, we called Greensboro and were lucky enough to get connected with Jeff Ballou. Jeff scheduled us an appointment with Nick Johnson and Nick was amazing. None of that stereotypical “pushy” salesperson, instead Nick listened to what we wanted, what was important to us and what we could live without. Explained in detail every feature of the vehicle, set up the car app on my phone and helped me navigate all of it. He was relaxed, personable and just genuinely kind. Jeff checked in on us during the entire experience and was just phenomenal. The finance team was outstanding, beat the preapproved rate we had from our credit union. This entire team went above and beyond and have gained loyal customers. I have never written a review after a car buying experience but this team deserved it. Jeff and Nick are an amazing team!!!!

Jeff called me early in the morning and confirmed our appointment with him to discuss a car I inquired about. We cane down and talked a bit about a used car i was considering. Adrian and Jeff were courteous and listened to what i was willing to buy and they got to work and within an hour,we agreed that a New Buick was a better deal. Not a lot of back and forth about price,etc . We left with a GREAT deal and highly recommend this team.

Best car buying experience ever! We showed up at the dealership just before closing. Steven Lynn greeted us, allowed us to test drive and answered questions even though it meant he had to stay well after hours. He did the same thing the next night when we came back to buy the truck! Steven and Jeff treated us with respect, as if we were their first priority and were extremely easy to work with! Thank you to you both for showing us what car buying should be like!

I bought a used vehicle from flow on Bridford and since day one it’s been nothing but issues between getting in contact with the manager for service issues to waiting over an hour and a half for a simple oil change. First service I requested for the tire sensor monitors to be checked because within a month of having the truck two sensors stopped working waited 2 plus hours with no contact while waiting in the showroom I had to go into the service department multiple times to be told it’s on it way up it’s done and so on with nothing done about the sensors. Here we are for the second service I made it specific I just wanted a oil change we’re on our way out of town and again over an hour for a simple oil change I would definitely not recommend this location for any service on any vehicle edit I just went out to ask for my vehicle back because I seen it in the service parking lot stil he lied to my face saying I’m in the service bay now I’m walking outside with my son to see a tech just pull it in the bay after I had to ask why it was taking so long edit again got the truck to my destination and wanted to ensure the oil had been changed and this is what a car wash is from flow chipped paint and some sort of spray that left streaks on my paint and residue on my rear window as someone threw soda or something like that I will be contacting the main branch of this dealership and get this resolved because it seems I’m not the only one with issues like this
