If there was negative stars I’d choose those absolute horrible experience took a VW there to get a diagnosis on why my car was smoking a whole lot they called me saying I needed a new motor my compression was at 80psi and my turbo was bad they quoted me at $3800 for a new motor and labor. I than took my car to a different shop for a second opinion they did a compression test my motor was at 170psi and come to find out there was just to much oil in the vehicle absolutely nothing wrong with the motor or the turbo!! This place is definitely trying to rip you off for ur money.
They are very helpful. I had an older vehicle In just to go threw it and tell me what, I needed to do for inspection. It had sat a while and they freed the breaks up for just about free along with diagnosing a small leak and a few other things.
fixed a few things in my car and left it in a very unsafe condition, some important parts were not tightened correctly resulting in a very unstable steering.
When I brought the car back I was told this is normal for a 10 year old car, although the wobble was not there before they worked on it.
This did not feel right so I took the "fixed" car to another shop and they found the problem immediately. The new garage told me I could have lost control of the car while driving if I didn't come to fix it.
There is no better place or person than Cooter's. Saved me from being stranded and transported my truck, myself and my dog over 100 miles! Fantastic service!!

I love this place. The shop owner is an honest man as far as I can tell and they treat me with kindness. I wish I didn't have to visit as often though haha
They over diagnosed and told me my car was a wreck when it's 6 months old and only needed an oil change. Told me I needed 4500 dollars to get it fixed. Assuming it's cause I'm a young female.
Cooter's Customs is an Excellent automotive places. The work they do is great. They get the job done and they are fair and friendly. They have replaced my rack and pinion , replaced my fule tank and replaced my Cam sensor and muffler. I have never had a problem and they always fix things fast and efficiently. Bottom line is they do great work. They don't try to over charge you, and they don't try to up sell you on things you don't need like a lot of other automotive companies. I highly recommend this company. They are pretty wonderful. I wouldn't take my car anywhere but here. Ty Cooters Customes. Very truly yours satisfied customer.

Very disapointed ..my sons took their truck there it needed an engine replaced we bought engine sent it there they were supposed to install it and send the other one back to the place so we could get core charge.. they kept refusing to do it and still do not know if it is done yet.. just before my sons took it to shop they had a transmission put in it by one of the top shops in the state.. when we finally get the truck back .. my sons drove it not even couple weeks and transmission acting up ( which was fine before ) and so we took it back to transmission shop they looked at it and said that this was a total mess .. things were not hooked up and some things not even to do with transmission were not tightened or hooked up! So it ruined the transmision and caused my sons to have to pay for another full rebuild!.. this is the most disqusting machanic work ive ever seen and cooters will not make it right.. we are struggling to keep things going and this cost my sons time and money!
Fast, friendly, helpful. Awesome staff! Rescued me from a forever wait for a tow, and ending up over paying at another garage! Very refreshing not to have to hear any upselling pitches.
Extremely happy with the auto service and the customer service was amazing too. I was quoted 600 to fix my gas leak and do an oil change at trombleys which was really high and the refused to do just the oil change at least because the mechanics couldn't handle the gas smell. I went to cooter's on a recommendation and I'm so happy I did. They got me in immediately and fixed everything in under 2 hours. The price was no where near what trombleys wanted. I will be going back there for any more maintenance on my car. Extremely thankful for their amazing work and their happy friendly customer service. Thank you so much Cooter's Customs!

I got into a accident and smashed the front of my suv. They fixed and replaced my hood, bumper and everything else that was damaged. I was expecting to see a different color hood but they painted and matched the color. I’m very happy with my experience and would recommend the shop.
