Price on oil change was ridiculous, it was more than my alignment. Then look my car up to see what services I have had done on it . Tried getting me to buy a new battery and rear brake job and new brake lines which all just passed when they did my nys inspection. I won't go back.
I was traveling from NJ to Ithaca NY. My tire light went off and I went to MR.TIRE and was nicely greeted by Chad Campbell. He happened to be the Store Manager. He was very courteous and asked me to have a seat in the lobby to be comfortable. He kindly looked at my tire and found a nail in it. He took time fixing the damage. To my surprise he charged me a fair price. Being a woman he never took advantage of me. So in the future when I’m in town he will be the only shop I will bring my car too! Bravo MR.TIRE!!!!!!
Dropped it off at 745 after waiting 15 minutes for someone to show up when they told me 730. Needed 2 tires put on said I would be back at 430 to pick it up. Got back waited another 45 minutes for them to finish and noticed they had my hood open on the lift. Was driving home and smelled burning oil and thought maybe they topped off the oil and spilled some while doing it. Nope. I get home popped my hood and they had left my oil cap off. I lost a bunch of oil as it spewed all over under my hood and engine and everywhere else. While I was there also heard a tech yelling profanities at another customer. Will never go back.
I went in because I had to keep putting air on one tire. I asked them to check. About 1 hour and 15 minutes later they came to me trying to sell me two filters. I didn’t ask them to do that. Over an hour later I told them I had to leave. They said they were plugging the tire and it would be done soon. I spent over 2 1/2 hours on a simple tire plug!! I had to cancel all my plans for the day. Over $120 later I had my car. I won’t bring my car there again. I thought it was a simple 45 minute job and I would be out. Not happy at all.
Completed oil change quickly and checked on a weird taillight situation i had. They were able to fix it with the cheapest option (just a bulb replace, instead of replacing fuse), thankfully.
Great experience. Inspected my tire and confirmed it wasn’t punctured. Re-inflated it for free and added pressure to the other tires as well as a courtesy. Quick turnaround in about an hour. Suggested I replace the air and cabin filters which I did. Would highly recommend
This Mr.Tire location is ran by Mr. Chad and he runs this location with integrity. He and his team will work diligently to assess and repair your vehicle as best as they can and I would recommend their shop to anyone in the area in need of repairs or that are having issues with their vehicle.
I went in for an oil change and had a fantastic experience from the start of my appointment to the end. I called for a same-day oil change and not only was I able to be fit into their schedule quickly, but Chad was incredibly informative throughout the entire process and even let me know of a few more things that could use a tune-up. They replaced my engine air filter after showing me how dirty mine was and I appreciated how I was shown everything that they had concerns about or wanted to replace (and I received quotes for that additional work along with my receipt at the end of my appointment which was very convenient). Overall, the service was fantastic and I was able to sit in the waiting room and get updates as my car was worked on. Would highly recommend Mr.Tire to others!
Scheduled an appointment for an inspection at 10:00 am. I didn’t leave until after 12:00. They also charged me $30 for a windshield wiper that wasn’t necessary. They take advantage of people who don’t know better so they can make a quick buck. Stay away from this place.
Great repair and maintenance shop.We bring all our vehicles here. They are honest and work well. Chad runs a great shop. He explains things well about repairs and is enjoyable to talk with. Highly recommend this place.
Had my NYS inspection done 👍. Appointment started on time and was completed within an hour. Very pleased with the experience and appreciated that no extra charges were "found" !

They got me in last minute even though they had appointments already. I cant thank them enough. I went in for brakes that I was told were fine and they found they weren't and that I really needed filter changes. They even showed me the filters. Again thank you mr. Tire for saving my day!

This is the second time I have needed Mr Tire on short notice in an emergency and they came thru both times. Had a slow leak this time driving thru Ithaca and stopped in. They fit me in on a very busy day, and had me out in under an hour and charged me very little for the service call. Chad took great care of us both times and I can’t say how great he and the team have been. The place to go in Ithaca!!!
I have been taking my car to Mr. Tire (Monroe) in Ithaca for years. They have always been able to fix my car, along with routine maintenance, regardless of manager and mechanics. I give nothing but high praise for the work they do. Prices have been reasonable and they don’t try to have work done that is not needed.
Chad was very knowledgeable and helpful when buying new tires for my truck. I felt confident when adressing any issues I had. The whole process was very easily intreated.

Had 4 tires I brought online installed along with front and back brakes pads. And a new battery installed under the driver side seat. Price is reasonable. And was able to get me In and out on the same day a life saver! Would go back for all car needs
I had a very good experience at Mr Tire today and am now thinking of using them whenever my car needs service. I went in because my 2015 Subaru Outback has had slow leaks in two tires for several months. I had previously taken the car to another garage, who told me the rims were corroded and tried to address the problem by grinding off the corrosion. When the problem persisted, I went to the dealer and asked if I needed new rims. After several hours they said couldn’t find anything wrong with the rims and didn’t charge me for the visit. Meanwhile my tires have kept leaking. Very frustrating.
A friend of mine who knows cars said to try Mr Tire. And I’m glad I did. When I went there, two friendly mechanics named Chris and Tristan invited me into the garage. We stood underneath the car and Chris showed me exactly what was causing the leaks. First, using the standard soapy water trick, Chris pointed out where the leaks were occurring at the seal between the rims and the tires. After he took the wheels off the car and removed the tires from the rims, he invited me in again to show me all the corrosion you can see on the two pictures attached here. Notice that only the inner part of the rim is corroded; the outer part near the hubcap is much cleaner and smoother. That makes me think my previous garage cleaned only half the rim. Maybe they didn’t completely remove the tire?? And I bet the dealer didn’t remove the tire either.
Bottom line: The mechanics at Mr Tire were thorough, fast, and friendly. The price was good too.
Mr. Tire is a great auto repair establishment with fast and friendly service. It has a comfortable feeling and I felt good having my car worked on. The workers are friendly and honest. 2023, still coming to Mr. Tire in Ithaca. The service is friendly and thorough. No complaints, fair prices and repairs explained.
