Super helpful staff. Not much more i can say. For some stores, it feels like they'll go out of their way to give you a headache to get money out of you but this store is the opposite. Never going to autozone again😅

So when it comes to auto parts for my Chevy HHR Panel truck "Lucy" I shop not online but at Advanced Auto Parts Located at the Triphammer plaza in Ithaca, N.Y.
You know sure I could save some bucks shopping online but you don't get the one on one personal service you receive with the professional parts guy across the counter! You get a "chat bot" and I'm sorry but if this is the best "AI" has to offer I'll take a hard pass!
On this day Ron was the guy across the counter from me, and I am so thankful he was. My problem with my truck was an Evap situation with a lot if error codes! All pointing at each other as being the faulty part! Anytime you have an issue with the Evap system you can start replacing parts one at a time but some of those parts like O2 sensors in your exhaust system can run you up to $150-$200 or more!
So Ron recommended I take my vehicle to certified garrage have a "smoke" diagnistic test performed to more pinpoint the faulty part or parts. These tests runs about $100 bucks but that is a better option then throwing good money after bad just swapping out parts Whilly- Nilly! I hope this review helps you out!

I often prefer Advance Auto Parts because of the knowledgeable staff, product selection, and price. I needed to purchase a new car battery. Shawna, the assistant manager, provided exceptional service by guiding my purchase choice (and corrected my error when I grabbed the incorrect component ) with her technical knowledge and excellent foresight which, I now know, will benefit me over the long term.
The help that Shawna did was up and beyond what i would ever expect! She went well out of her way to help me battery wise and got my new year started off on a great start. I highly recommend Chawnas experience and help with all your needs. A++++ from me!

I'm a delivery driver and needed a battery to get me through the winter for a car that I'm replacing in the spring. I went to Advance Auto Parts on Elmira Rd., where Shawna surprised me by going all-out to find the best possible compromise between performance and price. Auto parts stores are accustomed to people who are trying to make things work with very limited resources, and sometimes don't take the time to really help out. By contrast, Shawna went above and beyond. I have plenty of car repairs coming up, and I will absolutely return to Advance knowing that they will help me find the best possible solutions for my budget.
Shawna is amazing! Despite the cold and imminent closing time, she quickly helped us change our battery. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor made a stressful situation much more bearable. It's clear that she takes pride in her work and goes above and beyond to ensure customers leave satisfied.

I picked up my grandson and my battery died in the rain. Got it jumped went down to Advance and the most amazing person behind the counter helped me out ( Shawna ) and then I said I'd be back after putting the battery in. Shawna insisted on putting it in even though it was 40° and raining. She did it with easy and a smile which you absolutely can't find anymore. I'd take a million of her she made a horrible day incredible.

Had to get my part from a different store and that came in the next day. The only thing is they didn't call me when the part came in, I had to call them to check. It all worked out though so it's all good!
Rapid and successful identification of the problem, friendly and professional service, fixed the issue (battery replacement) within the hour, and they also accommodated a last minute add-on request (windshield wiper replacement). All in all, excellent service - thank you guys!
Would rate this store negative stars if possible, one of the worst advance autos I've been to. The staff wasn't knowledgeable and quite indifferent to my needs, when they couldn't help me with my parts they just ignored me and started helping other customers. I will be buying my auto parts somewhere else from now on
I went to buy some parts from them and they said they'd hold it for 9 days and if I didn't come back they'd sell it to someone else and I wouldn't get charged. Well I didn't come back and they charged me the $90 for the parts and caused a chain reaction putting my bank balance in the negatives. They took the parts and then used my credit card number to pay for it for themselves
Many positive experiences here in the past, and today no exception as they helped me with wiper replacements that a garage said they couldn't perform. Installed the correct new blades politely, pleasantly, and promptly despite obviously being understaffed on a cold day in the freezing rain and sleet.
Not happy! Went in and some guy was putting stickers on something, he looked at me and said I will be with you in a moment so I wait and wait . I could see the other workers where on the phone helping customers. One of the guys hung up the phone and I walked over to him and I said is that guy a manager? He said yes . I told him that his manager suck's in stead of stopping what he was doing. mind you he was just putting stickers up, and helping me he blew me off. I told his worker that was bull or maybe it had to do with I was a woman in a auto parts store . The worker which his name is Kevin was very nice and apologies . As far as I'm concern if some one walks in and your workers are busy, you as a manager should step in and help. You should be showing them what leadership is about. Not give more attention to some stickers.
Out battery died Memorial Day weekend while on a camping trip. Brian helped us out with a positive attitude and great service. Made an otherwise stressful situation smooth sailing!
I do not like the new store manager, as a women, I felt like a bother when I went in and asked for help. I couldn't tell what light was blown and hold down the break peddle at the same time.
The young lady today was a great help!
Had visited Auto Zone for a brake light and they said they didn't have it, not questioning my impreza type. Said it was an led bulb.
I visited your store, and the sales person asked for my VIN to be sure. Even took time to look at my vehicle. They had the bulb. And it wasn't an led one!
