DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I'd leave a 0 if I could. They WILL steal your stuff, and the people inside dont care. Worst customer service I've ever had by far and my vehicle was towed by insurance here. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.
Horrific experience.
My car was totaled out by Progressive on 8/5. This towing company reached out to me the afternoon of 8/6 while I was at work and we agreed on a pickup for 8/7. I figured it was perfect, giving me enough time to clean out all of my personal belongings in my car. I get home around 6:30pm on 8/6 and my car is gone. Assuming it was the towing company that removed the car, I tried reaching out but it was after hours so I left a message. My house keys were on the same keychain as my car leaving me locked out of my house and unable to feed my dogs. After two hours I found a way to break into my own house without damaging anything. The following day 8/7 I never received a callback until I reached out around 12:00pm. There was great confusion on the phone call, nobody could figure out what happened or why the car was picked up a day early. At that point, I just wanted my belongings back. I didn’t have the cleanest car in the world, so there was a decent amount of belongings in there. They asked for my address, and said they’d send everything back. Two weeks later I receive the old expired registration and plates from the vehicle with a note that says “No house keys found in car”. The house keys were on the same keychain that the car keys were on, can’t miss them. I’m still furious about this experience, all of my belongings GONE never to be seen again. Sensitive documents containing bank info, social security numbers and money were in that car…never to be seen again with zero contact from the towing company trying to make this right.
My son was in an accident with our car. Insurance company had it sent to this place and they placed a listing for it on their site 2 days after the accident. The insurance adjuster didn't even look at it yet. After that, I received the license plates in the mail, and I have yet to hear from the insurance company about what is happening with it. Whole situation feels like a scam.
My truck was sent her by insurance. Made it clear from beginning that even if totaled that I was keeping the truck. First the estimate was questionable, for example they wanted $215 for a used grille. New is $150 from dealership. Then I got the truck back when it was totaled. There is more damage, my tailpipe is dragging on the ground, all my belongings have been gone through with half in garbage bags and some stuff in the bed, where it’s been rained on. Not happy, do not recommend. Insurance company was not happy to get this call.
Buyers penalty or should we say "fees" are totally outrageous, be careful when you bid, check what penalty you have to pay first, we had purchased a vehicle for 1200.00 and they charged an extra 600.00, they give you 4 days to remove after that its 50.00 daily. The news said that Ritchie Brothers spent 7 billion dollars to buy this company and it seems they want to recoup that money very quickly, it also seems they did the same with fees when they purchased IronPlanet/Gov Planet. Check all the details first...
IAA Deserves no good reviews. Geiko told me they were picking up my car at noon. This was not IAA’s fault. Geiko never told them. I believe that. However, Aaron told me they could come anytime today and give me one hours notice. I made it clear that would not work today because I’m very busy. I was transferred to Colleen who didn’t give a hoot about anything I had to say, interrupted me constantly and hung up on me. I called back for her superior, Liz. I waited about 20 minutes to get her phone number because Colleen called her. So when I got Liz, she was arrogant, condescending and ignored every question I asked. She accused me of using profane language to Colleen, which never happened. Actually, Colleen swore at me. They both hung up on me, not caring at all if I got service. They have no work ethic. I hope when they get here the guys actually do their jobs. I don’t have any ill feelings for them. But this office is downright abusive.
DO NOT TRUST. This is the first accident I’ve been in and my car was moved here to be assessed by my insurance company. When I came to clean my car out, I found that my phone charger, all my quarters and dimes ONLY, and a few loose dollar bills were all missing. I also had a pair of leather work gloves in there. When I brought this to the attendant at the desk, she had no response. Not a huge deal but very disappointed this happened. DO NOT TRUST.
RUDE front desk employees. Collecting my belongings from my car was apparently the biggest inconvenience I could have possibly caused the ladies working there.
