I went in asking about my vehicle and a gentleman named Glenn help me out he was very knowledgeable. Customer service was awesome.

It was nice of the staff to direct me to good quality windshield wipers and in the freezing cold to come outside to install them for me. Many thanks.

Why would you advertise service for wiper blades when your employee has no clue how to do it and doesn't even seem like he wants the sale to start and I have to tell him 3 times the driver's side and all I want is a basic blade .your service needs to do better.

These guys are awesome! Our battery had drained on a brand new car only 2 weeks old. I hadn't had a chance to figure out how everything worked, and was kind of mystified with how the batter could have drained.. The tow service we used to jump start the car didn't have a testing kit so they advised us to have the battery tested. We didn't even buy anything. Lou came out, tested our battey and determined it was fine. He then spent a few minutes helping us figure out the dumb thing we likely did to drain it. Awesome service, simply the best!

Had a wonderful experience here. I went in for a custom paint job on Sunday afternoon with one employee working the desk and he was kind enough to work on it for me despite how busy it can get and how long it’ll take for the duplicate paint to get done. And it kind of did, but he manages to help all of us and even answering phone calls. Talk about diamonds under pressure. One heck of a worker. One heck of good and awesome service. Thank you and I really appreciate you Louis (I apologize if I’ve forgotten your name, but never your service)

I don’t know where they find the employees who work at this place. None of them have any car knowledge. I needed a copper washer for my oil drain plug and neither of the associates working knew what I was talking about.

I found a Chevy emblem keychain from a fair collection to choose from, some Christmas tree air freshers on sale. Attentive staff as soon as you walk in the door, very welcoming and helpful.

Great selection of parts. Good prices. Excellent customer service. Recomend this store for all your auto parts needs.

Friendly staff, very helpful. They usually have most parts available when they are common parts. Anything thats not in stock on site can be ordered pretty quickly. They seem eager to help and pretty knowledgeable about cars. Good place to check codes like check engine light, borrow tools, get windshield wipers, get fluids and filters, get head lights, small tools, etc.

So while they didn't have the part I needed, the most lovely gentleman helped me out and was genuinely curious about what I needed and why (3D printing line not a car part) and was so helpful. 5 stars for going out of his way to be nice and give customer service and a good experience despite not having the item. You should give this guy a raise.

Stoped In tonight to get a headlight for my car that Valvoline didn’t have. Was assisted by Whan who found the light I needed quickly and even installed it in my vehicle no charge. Highly recommend.

I don’t know what to say. Twice on two different occasions I went in to purchase 2 sensors and on both occasions I had to sit there and listen (because I’m not rude) to lectures about how they do not accept returns because customers and apparently myself do not know what i came in to purchase. I asked him if he was trying to push me into going to a garage or what he was doing or trying to reiterate that they don’t take returns back. Had to listen about stories of other customers. Honestly I did get irritated and I’m a pretty calm person because I was in disbelief I was being given the exact same lecture a month later from the same location. Guy wouldn’t listen as I told him I had zero intention in removing the part and bringing it back in to return it if it wasn’t the main issue as I would just leave it on. The last two times I went into purchase something I left empty handed. Long story short I went down the road to autozone and picked up the items I came into get…unbelievable

First review I have ever posted and this one is well deserved. My car was having trouble starting intermittently. I had my 2 children with me. The manager on yesterday evening went above and beyond, was very professional, took his time to help us (spent about 45 min to an hour), was very kind and he fixed the problem before we left. Highly recommended

Customer service is great 👍 an associate came out because the cheap brand air filter wasn't fitting correctly. He replaced the product and installed it for me 😊

Lazy ads employees that don't know there job. Or care about anything there doing! Exact words and i quote( not my problem) when they have there own products labeled wrong so they couldent see you what you need because they cant find it! Specifically the teal Ave. Store!!!!

I always go to Advanced Auto first for a good reason. They'll do anything they can to help their customers. So my window control panel stopped working, with the driver's side window down, and rain coming in a couple hours. I got a replacement at the Teal ave store, but didn't check it before I went home to put it in. I should have. It only takes a couple minutes....... Through no fault of theirs , it didn't have the right size plug. So I went to the Cicero store. They didn't have the correct one either. But what they did have, was a guy willing to go the extra mile for a customer. He came out to the car, I took the console out, and he managed to get enough contact in the switch to get the window rolled back up fully. Got a quick refund and now I won't get a wet seat until I can get the right part ordered. Gotta love 'em.

I stopped in to get windshield wipers, and the gentleman at the counter (I think he was the manager) was very kind and extremely helpful! He recommended wipers and even replaced them for me. Overall a very pleasant and positive experience, and I will definitely be back for other auto-related needs!

This is the best advance in the area, the store manager here Lou is a beast and peak customer service wizard. Only go to the Mattydale one if you are forced to that one is a hole and the staff literally smokes cigarettes in the store its gross.

Let me tell u the manager louie was the best. Helped me find all I needed informed me of a sale coming up for things I may need in the near future. Customer service is never like this especially in a auto parts store. They always want to get u out, but not at this place Mr. Louie you rock sir....... seeing clearly with my new wiper!

Went in with a lawnmower battery to be tested. Gentleman explained reasons why the battery may not be working. They are charging the battery for free, and then will test it once charged. Great service!

I stopped in to find a windshield cleaning brush And got more then I expected. The two employees came out and literally help me clean my windshield! The one employee in particular, Kara not only help me in Great Lengths to clean off my windshield but, she also help me try to find out why one of my engine light was on. There's something about a beautiful woman that knows her way around cars that gets my heart pumping!

Had my online order immediately ready and was able to put together a kit they technically didn't sell but had all the right bits for.

Workers were rude and didn’t know what they were talking about. Went in and asked for engine codes to be read. I was handed the OBD scanner and the employee went right back to smoking his cigarette with no help whatsoever. Second employee came out and told me my battery was bad and that I should replace that instead of my alternator, when I knew my alternator was bad and insisted I just buy a battery. Poor knowledge, lazy, unkind, uninformed, rude.

Helpful, kind, gave me all the help I need. Thank you guys for the great customer service. They were able to answer my questions about brakes, pads, rotors, calipers, and spark plug replacement. I would come again if things aren't in stock near my other local advance auto parts.

Helpful and understanding employees. Would go there any time I need parts. Just be patient, the company leaves them short staffed in the late afternoon and evening. Still worth it, though.

The prices here can be higher than a big box store for mainstream items. The store has more unique items that you can only locate at an auto shop. The prices for these items can be reasonable but you can usually find coupons. The staff can be of service for simple installs if the help is needed.

I needed a car battery and went to Pep Boys across the street first. They do install for free but they were booked until the following day so a customer there suggested Advance. I was able to get good advice selecting the battery and the fellow who I paid went out to my car with the battery and installed it on the spot (also for free). He was friendly and did a great job with the install.
