About 6 months ago, I provided them used OEM parts, specifically, hood, one fender, one headlight, and the front bumper, which matched the exact body and color of my car. All they needed to do was to replace the parts and put on screws and clips. They charged $1500 (I thought it was easy money as they didn't need to sand and paint and even polish), but they did a lousy work. I had to bring the car the next day because the replaced parts were not aligned with the other part of body and there were apparently missing screws. They fixed them immediately.
Then last week, a plastic mud panel underneath the front bumper almost fell off while driving and there was a heavy piece hanging above it inside the bumper. I brought the car back in again and wanted to figure out what and why was the loose part and how to fix it. Mike didn't explain why and just brought it to the shop and clipped the panel.
When I kept asking what was the hanging part and if this would happen again, Mike got very irritated and started talking that I must have hit on the snow ice due to the big snow and was trying to be the smart ass to take advantage of him. I didn't disagree with him, but would rather understand the root cause in order to prevent future happening. He was apparently mad and being annoyed.
I brought the car to two other body shops for assessment, and they all said the original work was very bad and at least the bumper and underneath panels need to be reinstalled and fixed. I wasn't surprised about this from my first impression about their careless work.
Avoid them if you can. There are many good ones nearby.
Honest, genuinely hardworking people. You can really tell this is a family owned and operated business because they treat you like more than just another customer. From the moment I walked in, they were kind, patient, and considerate, and explained everything clearly.
My car was pretty messed up, but they took great care of it and had it fixed much faster than I expected considering how bad the damage was. It is clear they take pride in their work and truly care about doing the job right. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service.
Mike and his team are fantastic. Excellent work, reasonable prices. As I joked, “I don’t want to come back” but I will in the unfortunate case of more car body damage. Highly recommended.

Both Matt and his father, Mike, were incredibly helpful in guiding me through what to do after a hit-and-run. They were extremely kind, caring, and never made me feel lost or overwhelmed by the process, despite my lack of knowledge about cars.
Once all the insurance matters were taken care of, I dropped my car off on a snowy Monday morning, and just 10 days later it was ready to be picked up. This was the fastest I’ve ever had work done on my car, and it came out absolutely amazing.

My family and I broke down on the turnpike. I called and Mike the owner answered. He was very friendly and understanding that I had someone coming to get us and couldn't wait for the tow truck as they were tied up with an accident. Mike took my fiances triple a card number and we found out it was expired. I told him I could give him my credit card. He said he wasn't worried and we could settle up when I picked up the car. He offered to let me install the alternator there and didn't try to push any services on me as I'm pretty sure they are a mechanic shop as well. This morning I drove out with my truck and trailer and grabbed the car. They had it in the shop most likely because it was dead and probably wouldn't lock. I was impressed and thought to myself this guy cares about his customers. The customer service inside the office was as good as it gets as well, the lady at the desk gave me paperwork so we could get reimbursed by aaa as I didn't have the new card on me. I'd highly recommend Mike and his team. Thank you for getting our explorer off the turnpike.

Their drivers can’t comprehend basic traffic rules, I wouldn’t let someone who can’t drive a car to tow my vehicle. Hope they are better mechanics than they are drivers.
Had a vehicle towed over to our shop from one of the tow truck drivers which seemed to be his first day. Completely blocked the front door to the business with maybe 30 other spots to place the customers vehicle. Would recommend implementing more training.
Most people don’t give 5 stars after being towed, but I was in a pickle. I stupidly ran out of gas on the Mass Pike in a bad spot and the gentleman that towed me off was just that - a gentleman. He made me feel extremely comfortable and calm in a stressful situation. He made sure I was safe and provided solutions for multiple ways that I could get home. In no way did I feel judged for my mistake. This was the ultimate outcome I could have hoped for and happy to have made the gentleman’s acquaintance. Thank you again, the girl with the RAV4.

Detail-oriented, kind service, and reasonable prices! I LOVE bringing my car here for oil changes and repairs. The staff is so kind to me, and they are able to point out if any concerns I bring up are ACTUAL problems or just things to keep an eye on while using my car. They are SUPER busy because people love them, and I usually wait for my oil change because I only have one car for our household. They are able to get it to me and keep me updated.
They also have done things like change my headlights and glue back my antenna cover for reasonable prices. I appreciate how much they care about my car and me. My mom has also brought the car for oil changes, and we feel part of their auto family. Thank you so much for welcoming us to your customer base! Can't speak to the service but I had to slam on my brakes when the tow truck driver pulled out into the middle of traffic. I sure am glad it wasn't my car on the back! You think they'd have comped that owner if I didn't brake in time?
I just got my car back that I did some pretty hefty damage on and I must say that they did an amazing job repairing it all. Mike worked with me on the price & helped me deal with insurance, car rental... I give 5 Stars-Excellent Work! I'm so grateful
AWFUL SERVICE AND TREATMENT. I had a very urgent problem with my car, I called a day before to drop off my car next day , they confirmed and then when I got there next day 8am they said they couldn’t take my car because they had 50 cars to take care of. and the owner literally yelled at me saying I had to know the name of the person I spoke to. Do not recommend.
My daughter's new car had to be towed late on a Friday night. The gentleman from Perfection towing was helpful and courteous. Two tires had to be replaced after hitting a big pothole on an entrance to the Pike. They replaced the tires the following Monday morning, and, because the wheel hub was slightly dented, put the damaged wheel(s) at the rear - because a problem would have less of an impact on driving than if in front. The car still looks new. Finally, the price was absolutely fair.
I brought in my 17 year old car that has served me well but has started to rust in several key places. Perfection auto treated the rust, cut out corroded sections and did their magic. Looks again like a new car! All for a fair price. Thank you Mike and your team! High recommendation!
They were absolutely wonderful- came to my rescue when my tire blew out on the Mass Pike in the pitch black & freezing cold temperatures last week. The driver even dropped my mom off at the airport on the way to the auto shop. Everyone was wonderful and made a horribly scary situation incredibly smooth. Extra thank you to Tuna the incredibly comforting shop dog!
Brought my car in for a bumper scratch when a friend backed into my car. They were able to take it in and repair it like brand new the next day in a few hours. Amazing work, would definitely recommend and will definitely use them again no hesitation
I had never been towed before today and was pretty shaken up by all that had happened. Rhonda greeted me with the most excellent customer service as soon as we got to the office. She was so kind and considerate. She completely turned my day around and helped me navigate my next steps. Because of her, I will continue to choose Perfection!!
Although they get job done pretty fast. I'm very disappointed with the paint job they have done. You can see that the front bumper paint job feels like it was finished by spray can and very matte by contrast with the rest of the car

Simply walked-in to get a quote, and immediately was told that this was a repair they were familiar with and gave two options for service. (This was already a big contrast to another auto shop I visited prior, which said the repair was basically unfixable and they couldn't give a quote.) Decided to move forward with repair, which was completed in just a few days (actually faster than expected), and car looked amazing! Price was exactly what they quoted me, plus the car was washed and looking great.
I've been coming to Penta/Perfection for auto body repair for over 20 years. Mike, the owner is honest, fair and always reliable. We've been there for many many times.. -- too many for me to want to count -- and from big crashes to small dents, Mike's and his establishment been there for us. We are lifelong customers, and I would highly recommend to have your car repaired there if you want great work and very competitive prices. We've recommend many people to go there, and they always told me that they've been treated fairly and the work's been great.
Good luck if you choose this company for towing. Especially if it's a drop-off towing.
The people are nice but the work was not done properly. They did explain to me why the miles was charged for round-trip.
(26 miles for actual towing distance, got charged for 277 included 108 for tow and 52 miles towing mileage)
Mass Law do support this part.
When I made the first call, I described two front wheels got bent, but turns out only one is their responsibility. (The other one was because of pothole)
However, after I checked all the pictures I took I admitted my mistake.
But they just constantly said I washed my claim and they are not going to pay anything.
I understood that I was wrong at first, but they didn't respect the truth that one rim's damage was related to that towing. If you have to choose this company, make sure take pictures before & after the tow. Be beware of the way when they apply the metal plate & straps to the rims.
It's not worth for me to find an attorney to sue them for that 300 dollars repair. But when you can not be understood by the people who damaged your belonging or even receive a 'SORRY' from their mouth, it just made u a bad day.
I know they have worked in this area for a long time with relatively good reviews, but just remember its always a good idea to protect yourself when you can.
Mike Penta, the owner of Perfection Auto Body, is the best auto body service in the state of Massachusetts. He always takes care of his customers cars and takes care of anyone. I first met him 15 years ago, when I was a poor student who got hit-and-run damage. He was able to patch up my car for 1/2 of what other shops were offering because he understood my situation. I really appreciate that. Now I bring in all my cars and my friends' cars too. He'll come out personally and do the work himself. It's the little touches, like buffing our yellowed headlights for free, or adding touch-up paint to the cars. His entire team is incredibly nice as well.
