I went to this shop for one specific thing: a TNC inspection. I was very clear about it. Instead, without my consent, they performed a regular state inspection that I had already completed the day before. What makes this even worse is that my car already had the inspection sticker clearly showing the correct date, proving the inspection was valid until next year. It was literally right there on the windshield. Despite that, they removed the valid sticker and put a new one after doing a service I did not ask for. When I confronted them, they first claimed, “That’s what you asked for.” Then they changed their story and said they “forgot” what I asked for — so they just decided on their own to do the regular inspection anyway. I told them I was not paying for something I didn’t request and didn’t need. Their response was unacceptable: they said if I didn’t pay, they would not give me my car back and would keep my keys. To top it all off, the owner was extremely rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. Removing a valid inspection sticker, doing unauthorized work, and then holding someone’s car and keys hostage is not normal or legal behavior for a business.

I took my brand-new car to this place for a simple oil change and paid for the service. When I picked up my car, I realized the oil was never changed. I brought the car back, and instead of taking responsibility, they lied and claimed there was an “oil leak.” I asked them to check the car again and even checked the parking spot where the car was sitting no oil leak, no stains, nothing. Despite that, they insisted something was wrong and then told me I had to pay again or they would not give me my keys back. The owner was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, speaking to me in a rude and dismissive way instead of trying to resolve the issue. I took my car to the dealership the same day, and they confirmed there was no leak and no issue at all, proving this shop lied. To make matters worse, a family member later told me this same shop damaged his car, costing him $1,800 to fix. This place is dishonest, unprofessional, and predatory. Do not go here. Run.

i brought my land Rover in for brake work and general maintenance ,and the service was excellent from the start to finish. the team was knowledgeable; honest and clearly experienced with higher -end vehicles. they explained everything in detail, completed the work on time and brakes feel perfect. pricing was fair. and there was no surprises. its not easy to find a mechanic you can trust with a land Rover ,but this shop absolutely delivered. highly Recommend.;]

Went here for the first and last time in my life.Think not once but ten times before going here to get your car repaired. Get the labor cost and all the information before doing any work on the car because you will regret it later. These garages charge the most money in the Watertown area while also not doing the work satisfactorily.

Got my car serviced here, was a really good experience, wouldn't go anywhere else

I have been going to this Mobil gas station for a few years now, and they are absolutely the best! The team is extremely polite, professional, and always willing to help with any car issue. Compared to big dealers, their prices are much more reasonable, and the quality of their service is excellent. They consistently go above and beyond, making sure everything is taken care of properly. I truly appreciate their honesty and kindness—I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I just wanted to install some part of my car. Instead of helping, someone rudely brushed me off saying "no appointment, no space." I said I'm fine with coming another day, just wanted to know if they could do the job. Then they quoted me $150 for something I've had done it in next store for just $30 Felt like they were trying to get rid of me. Not coming back.

Excellent service and the crew were very professional. They did my oil service and inspection sticker within 30 minutes. The gave me recommendations on my brakes for the future. Never over sell me and very polite. Thank you and will be coming back with my Mercedes Benz. Highly recommended. Over 45 years experience.

Dropped in for my state inspection around 3pm on a Tuesday. I only had a brief wait while they finished another car, then they took my car in and completed the inspection very quickly. The man who helped me (I forgot to ask his name) was courteous, professional and fast. I'll definitely use them again!

Cannot recommend this place enough. On 2 separate occasions I’ve come in to get gas and mentioned my tire pressure has been off. They’ve immediately taken my car back, found the problem, and fixed it in under 15 minutes while simultaneously charging me an absolute steal. They are very knowledgeable and so kind. Highly recommend!!

Main Street Mobil is fantastic for the local market. Their service is efficient and friendly, and the convenience of having such a well-stocked station nearby is a real asset. They offer everything you need on the go, from fuel to some car needs, and the location is always clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I recently did my brakes for my Lexus RX 300. It’s been giving me hard time for long time. The mechanics are really professional working here. They did explain me about the things needed to be changed and great customer satisfaction and service provided here especially the guy working in the gas station is the best. He is soo friendly and gave a quick appointment with no wait. I would recommend anyone in this area to bring their vehicle for service here. Great work guys.

Emergency brake not working and failed inspection. I took a chance and allowed them to diagnose the problem. Their diagnosis was thorough and offered a few solutions dependent on my price comfort. Excellent work was performed and at a fair price. They have my business because of their exceptional service, workmanship and fair price.

I was recommended this place by a friend and brought in my car for the first time. They were quick and honest and charged me less than half the price of what the dealer had quoted me. The dealer also had tried to up-charge me things I didn’t need, so I'm glad I went here since I ended up saving money. Highly recommend.

I am very happy from the quality work and service from the staff of Main Street Mobile. I had a check engine light that they diagnosed for free and told me what the car needs to repair it (which it was only the gas cap that needed to get replaced due to not sealing correct). Got done an oil change and change my air and cabin filters on time and hassle free. Recommended me next oil change a tire rotation to keep them worn down even and get more miles out of them. I will come back for my maintenance from now on here and gas up !!! Definitely if you are in the area and need an expert opinion for your car stop by :) would recommend it to everyone. Excellent service my inspection failed due to check engine light and worn out tires. They diagnosed it and replaced my catalytic converter also replaced my tires with four Good years all seasons. They even put the miles on my car so it passed state inspection. Best service and very appreciated. Highly recommended and priced greatly. Try them out you will never lose.

This was my first time bringing my Jeep to Main Street Mobile. I brought it in because it needed some minor tune-up stuff, an oil change, and inspection. I was extremely pleased by the service. The staff there were courteous and informed me step by step what they'd be doing- they were honest and made me feel at ease. Everything was done in a timely manner, which is always a plus. Their prices for services were super reasonable, and my car ran beautifully after. Overall, my experience was excellent, I will definitely be bringing my car back again.

I have had nothing but a great experience with this garage. When my car was acting up I brought it to a few places and they just gave me the "seems fine to me treatment.' When I brought it here they made sure that they didn't stop until they figured the problem out, which is exactly what they did. Now I go there all the time and have built up a great trusting relationship with the mechanics which is hard to come by. Good service, reasonable prices, and you drive away knowing that your ride was fixed, and fixed well! I would definitely recommend them (and I do) to everyone!

Nothing but positive things to say about this place. I was recommended by a co worker after I vented about a quote I got from another shop. I went to Main Street Mobile last Friday and when I walked in I was greeted by a very polite young man. I thought for sure that I wouldn't be helped that day because I didn't have an appointment and they looked swamped with work. I told the young fellow that I think I need to make an appointment for my car and he told me that they would squeeze me in that day if I liked. He also offered me a ride to work or a free loaner for the duration of the repair. Of coarse I took the loaner. About 2 hours later they called to tell me nothing but good news. My car didn't need all that work that was told to me by the shop around the corner on pleasant street (over a grand worth), it just had a loose gas cap. Also my front rotors didn't need to be changed like I was told, and just needed pads. I was so happy with the news that i told them to do whatever they recommended. I got a call by the end of the day telling me that my car was all set. I picked up my car after work and payed my invoice of $188. These guys are pretty awesome and they gained a new customer for life. Thank you Main Street! Thumbs up all around!

I brought my car in to get new tires since the tread on my old tires was worn down. I shopped around at several locations and this place gave me the best price. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the guys were able to switch out the old tires and get me back on the road. They provided me with great customer service and I would recommend their shop to anyone who needs to have work done on their car. I also go here for state inspections since they're very quick about it. All you have to do is pull up to the inspection sign out front and they take care of the rest.

I first brought my car in to get new tires and received great customer service! These guys were fairly priced and didn't try to charge me for services I didn't need (like I have experienced at other auto shops). A week later I went in for an inspection and was out of there in no time. Now that the weather is getting better I brought my car in for a full detail and they cleaned every inch of the car inside and out. It looks just as good as it did the day I bought it. I would definitely recommend going to these guys for your auto needs!
