I have been a customer at Express Tires since 2010 and I could not love this place more!!! I know nothing about cars and anytime something goes wrong, I get super nervous! Darren, Lisa and the team could not be nicer! The free loaner cars make life so much easier whenever I need my car fixed, especially since I have moved away but still drive to Watertown because I cannot imagine the service is matched anywhere else! I also always feel like their estimates on time are conservative and they usually finish faster than predicted. They are super communicative. They will send a detailed breakdown of cost and photos of repairs needed and I feel confident knowing they’re giving me all the information- and often the pictures make things so obvious to me and make consenting to the repairs easier— I see the photo shows clear damage, and I’m happy to invest in fixing it! For shorter repairs, they have a nice seating area and the dunks across the streets has ample seating! I could not recommend this place and the people enough!!

BEST staff in the area! Express Tire somehow managed to make an auto shop feel… enjoyable? The atmosphere was super welcoming and very family-oriented, which instantly put me at ease. They were quick, efficient, and had me in and out without any stress or awkward waiting-room dread. Honestly, this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at an automobile shop (and I never thought I’d say that). Highly recommend if you want great service without the headache. Great website too!

Broke down on a freezing cold morning across the street at Dunkin. Went for help directly across the street They responded immediately, jumped the car, replaced the battery, and checked to make sure no other problems existed. Could not have been nicer, more helpful, or fair . Even though they were swamped, I was in and out in an hour. First class people Thank You!!

This shop is AMAZING in service, professionalism, courtesy - and SUPER FAST in responding to my popped and unrepairable tire. A hidden old pipe edge (in the street side of a sidewalk!) flattened my tire as I was parking in Belmont. Luckily I could stay where I was, called AAA, and soon my car was towed to Express Tire & Auto Service in Watertown (1.4 miles away) where they got a matching tire from their warehouse, installed it, and RETURNED my car back to where I was waiting in 2 hours! - and all at a great price! My day was saved due to the high work ethics at Express Tire & Auto Service in Watertown, MA. Super thankful!

I thought I needed a new muffler for the insane noise coming from my much-loved and aging Volvo, emailed several places around for info/estimate and received a reply from Lisa in 5 minutes. 5 MINUTES! I live a mile away, drove right over and was assisted by Brendan. Since it was lunchtime, I was told I would receive a call as soon as everyone was back and was offered a ride home (very sweet, but it was just a quick walk). Darren called me an hour later with the news that my muffler was good.... but I needed a new catalytic converter. Yikes. He ordered the parts right away (2:30 on Thursday afternoon) and my car was ready 24 hours later. They have photos and videos of what your car needs, Darren and I talked about how this is a great, honest tool for everyone involved (EVERY business should have this!). I am grateful they could get my car in right away, and I'm confident I found a new place for all types of repairs. Thanks again to Lisa, Brendan, Darren and everyone in the shop from me and my Volvo!!

Heading to NYC but found out left front tire pressure too low, went in and had it fixed in 1 hour. Special thanks to Lisa for explaining what went wrong, also shoutout to the technician! He was able to get the nail out and patch it in 30minutes. At one point I thought I needed to change the tire on another day, thumbs up to the people here for being able to fix it without changing tire and made it super quick 👍🏻

The team here always treats me right. They have gone above expectations consistently. Like everyone, I hate spending money on tires, but Darren and his team make it painless. Prices are right and service as amazing.

I went here thinking I had a minor problem but soon found out there was actually a huge problem (in addition to the little one, of course). They easily could have tried to get me to spend money and fix the initial problem, but instead they advised me to not put any more money into my car (which was nearing the end of its lifespan anyways). I was shocked at a mechanic telling me not to have them fix something. Their honesty and genuine care has ensured my next car will be headed straight to them for any and all concerns! Lisa especially was so knowledgeable and helpful in answering my many questions. To find a garage you like is one thing, but to find a garage you trust is entirely another.

We recently moved to town and Darren came highly recommended from my neighbors. I recently went there for new tires and an oil change and the team there was excellent. Communication was great; there was always a human who answered the phone and called back. They scheduled me quick and I was in and out at the exact times they said I would be. Responsible prices, no sales pressure but good overall advice.

Amazing and super honest owner. Went to one mechanic recommending I replace 2 tires and Daryn the owner said it wasn’t necessary. Didn’t convince me to fix anything and was patient and explained everything perfectly. Definitely recommend checking him out!

I was very thankful that they were able to see me on short notice, most mechanics I find tell me they're booked about a month out. They got my car back to me in good running shape so that a bad Monday is resolved in one day and I can get on with the rest of my work week with a nice running vehicle. Highly recommended.

I took my car to Express with just simple dash lights and these guys tried over charge me for something that was so simple. Seriously, how does a car that drives very well have a problem with spark plugs when the remote starter works every well? They even gave me back my car with missing parts, not sure what their plan was on this but I was confused seriously! They charged twice for diagnostics yet they didn’t repair anything at all. Even with what they said they had found after the diagnostics was wrong yet they charged me for it. I wouldn’t recommend them for your business because they will over charge you for items that are not even required.

It seems like I’ve always shown up in an “emergency” and they get me right in. Their customer service is top notch and they didn’t speak down to me or tell me with attitude that I’m going to have to wait like so many places passive aggressively tell you to make you feel bad. It was a particular tough morning and they saved my tire that kept leaking and I couldn’t find the nail…apparently there were two! They’re wonderful and I highly recommend them. Thank you again!

I had a great experience! The team was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly (shout out to Lisa!). They answered all my questions and even had a tech available for extra clarification. Communication was easy with text updates, so I never missed a call. My favorite part was the detailed form with photos and repair quotes—super transparent, so I knew exactly what I’d be paying.

I had to have my car towed there because it died at the dunkins across the street. First they tried to sell me an alternater without checking the battery voltage. Turns out it was the battery,bought the battery. Now I'm having trouble with the battery that has 24 month warranty and Lisa said it's the alternater . I brought it to a different mechanic and he put it threw his snap on scan tool he did check both the battery and alternater. Guess what it's not the alternater. Lisa would not replace the battery. I wouldn't have this garage rotate my tires they'd probably try and sell me a transmission. Not happy with them or there service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you can.

We have had our car serviced here and the customer service is absolutely wonderful. They really know their customers and take time to get to know them. We recently had low tire pressure due to the cold weather and they helped us immediately and very quickly when we went in. We highly recommend choosing Express for your service needs.

I've been going to Express Tire for years, and after another top notch service from Darren and his team, I had to take the time to add to the other nearly 400, 5 star Google reviews here. Darren, Lisa & the other service writers are so knowledgeable and make you feel like everything will be taken care of. I dropped my car off in the morning, was able to hop in a complimentary loaner car, and returned in the afternoon to find the work to be done and ready to go. I ruined two of my tires and two of my rims on my vehicle along a granite curb. I brought my vehicle to Express Tire in Watertown for help. I was lucky enough to deal with the owner, Darren Cummings, who quickly asked about my situation, gave me a variety of options and then only when I asked for his personal opinion, he then suggested what he would do in my situation. His decision was in my best interest as it saved me money and by the time I was leaving the next day, I felt as though Darren was an old friend! He was also willing to extend an expired discount on the parts as well as an alignment. My car feels like it’s driving better than ever and I would recommend anyone who could use help with their vehicle. Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, smooth and transparent processes. I especially value the diagnostic services supported by actual pictures of your car explaining why certain services are recommended. They also provide a loaner car if your car needs to stay in the shop for an extended period of time. Can't recommend highly enough!

Where to begin with why this shop is excellent. Friendly service, skilled mechanics, honest about work that needs to be done, got me in same-day to fix a window (right before the last Nor'easter). But also, the free loaner car that saved me from having to use Uber to pick up my kids from daycare. Having access to a loaner meant I could salvage my day.
