They rearranged the yard in the past year and now it is much easier to get in an unload, especially scrap tin (steel). The staff here are always friendly and work hard to get you in and out quickly.
Not quite as easy to get in and out of as other scrap yards. They do pay well and will take small scrap steel and the like. Pretty popular with the small load scene.
Went there a couple of times, seemed decent at least. But last time had around $50 worth of stuff if not more, they ripped me off, giving me ten times as less... And then denied it. Saw the scale went up to 400 lbs, but told me it was only 46 lbs and refused to pay the right amount. What thieves! ...hope for the karma to come bite them in the rear.
I think everything went well and the people were friendly and helpful. The price was good too. I don't know any reason why I shouldn't call this my place to recycle my scrap metals. Thanks guys, good job.
Tell your driver that was at Kellogg and Broadway around 1:20pm today Monday 1/29/24 tag number 7186743 that the world is not his trash can. I sat there and watched him throwing trash out his window onto Broadway street.

I like this place because for one it's closer to home, and for two I like the setup they've got going on with the way you can just drive rite up on the scale and pull around to drop off all your steel,iron and tin..... Friendly, knowledgable staff, and competitive prices!... One thing they could do better,(at least at the st.francis location) is if they would put up a digital sign of some sort so the customer can actually see what they're weighing in at and weighing out at!!... I know as a customer myself that i sure would like to see this improvement be made!.... Ya gotta treat your customers rite!... Cuz most people should know a business without customers, is no business at all!!....
This location on St Francis is smaller and the office isn’t as fancy as the 21st location but who cares, when you get great service from nice people every single time. I am really impressed and this location is more convenient for me, so I will definitely be back!
Much more laid back scrap metal facility compared to the other location. Also get to avoid the smell of the dog food factory choosing this location instead of the 21st Street location.
This is the first time I've been here since this place changed hands. The people were very friendly, the place was easy to get around in even with a trailer and thankfully no one came out dragging the scrap over the sides of the truck like I've experienced at places in the past. Smooth process and a very pleasant guy in the office.
This is a very good place to work with. They are straight forward and honest, and do things exactly the way they ought to be done. They have always done me right, and I will be a permanent customer of theirs.
Went to the satellite location near downtown. The gentleman that i believe runs the place is very helpful and gave me a few pointers aa ti ti hiw i can get the most money for my efforts. I now have a new favorite recycle center. Plus, im excited to stary buying material from AMR to use on the trailers im building.
