Eric was who helped me today. It was a pleasant interaction and liked his professionalism as well as made the transaction much easier. First time coming in. Small shop great knowledge and a sense of humor!
Eric at Gold Spot knows his stuff and is really fair. I brought him a diamond ring and a 10k gold chain, and he was so informative. He even let me hold the magnifier and to look at my own ring, showing me why it would be worth what it’s worth. I got other appraisals but came back to him in the end because he had the best offer and was the most helpful.
"Really appreciated finding a shop open until 6:00 PM on a Saturday. I came in with a mixed lot of average pieces at best and anchored by something that the shop doesn't even normally deal in, but they recognized the value in the key date and gave me a great price for the lot as a whole. They did all this keep in mind after letting me in as they were locking the door for the day. Pros make it look easy these guys are certainly that it's a no brainer that I'll be back.

I went to several gold dealers and kept getting lowball offers. I then called The Gold Spot Cash, and Eric answered the phone and told me he pays closest to spot price. When I came in, he followed through.It was already 5:00 PM and he was closing at 6:00 PM, but he still waited for me to come in and took care of me without rushing.My father was in a rear end car accident two days before New Year’s, and I needed cash to help him get by for the month while we wait for insurance to come through. Eric really helped me out during a stressful time and made the process easy and fair.

I came in with my 10k gold necklace. Eric took great care of me. He gave a better price than everywhere else I had gone to. We couldn’t agree on a price but we weren’t far off so ended up FLIPPING A COIN. It was such a great and fun experience especially because I won the coin flip haha. Anyways great spot, highly recommend this place for anyone trying to sell their gold.
I am really hoping to update this rating. I called to ask a general question and was given a very curt answer when I asked a follow up question my phone went out and it came back to hear "are you hearing the words coming out of my mouth?" I tried to explain and apologize, but apparently got "disconnected ". I will be going there in person and I hope the other reviews are true and I can change this first impression.
Eric was very honest about pricing for my old Gold & silver chains. This was the first spot I came to sell them, didn’t believe him when he told me no one’s going to give me a better price than him @$400. Looked all around town for two hours to find out he wasn’t lying. Came back and got the best deal by far from here !

Came in to sell a 6.1 gram 24 karat gold bracelet, the clasp was 18 karat so I estimated the bracelet was 5.85 gram give or take. The price of gold at the time was $4,095 an ounce, the melt value alone of this bracelet at the time was $770, $4095 ÷ 31 = 132 x 5.85 = $772. He came back to me and said my bracelet is worth $700 and told me I would have to sell it to him for less than that so I'm assuming he wanted me to sell it for $600-650. I understand stores have to make money & that's why I came in with the intent of selling it for $700 maybe a little less knowing my bracelet is worth $770, leaving the owner with a $70 profit on the transaction. Taking this to a refinery would've cost next to nothing since it's 24 karat, all you have to do is melt it down with a torch and you have pure gold. Maybe he would've gotten back $735 worth of gold ($35 profit) if he did take it to a refinery and he wanted to make a little more but at least be honest with your customer about the value of their product. I do not recommend anyone coming here to sell any precious metal unless you know what you're doing, pretty ironic the store is called "The Gold Spot" but doesn't tell you spot price of gold. No thank you and good luck.

Eric was very personable and professional. We chatted while he appraised my pieces and I felt like he gave me a very fair price for them. I was very happy with the sale and highly recommend this store. He had some very interesting pieces for sale as well. It was really cool to see some of the sports cards in his collection, and I'm not even a sports fan. I would absolutely come back in the future and know exactly where to go now if I ever want to sell again.
