Sat waiting to process a return for 20 minutes while employee prioritized other things like a phone call from a “sister store” and I was the only one in the store. This is not the place for getting good service or care. Return took 1 minute while I wasted 20. Same experience as always no matter what zone you go to.
When I first came into this location the employees were arguing about a purchase very loudly. I came to this auto zone with a dead battery and the kid that was helping me told me they couldn’t do exchanges on batteries at the time, so I said can I buy a new one and you install the battery. He said “no my manager won’t let me”. His manager clearly said that he could change the battery in front of my face. Then he proceeded to deny helping me buy the battery then said he couldn’t install the battery still. I then let the manager know how they could put me in a horrible situation by not helping out. The manager then said “sorry he won’t do it”. What is the purpose of offering a service, then employees not being able to do said service? When they are being paid to do so and the store is making money on my purchase.
This was probably one of the most depressing auto zones there is! Not sure which worker tonight but they all sure don’t care about doing there job! Even when you’re stuck in there parking lot with a dead battery, but claim it’s to “LAST minute” to sell a battery. So here we are, after closing still sittling with a dead battery! thanks auto zone!
this auto zone always gets me right ? special shoutout to ava tho, she is SO sweet & extremely helpful !! she was very professional while not only helping me but about 5 others in line behind me !! her outstanding service is exactly why this is my preferred auto zone ?? thanks again ava ?
When I called them they said they could help get my locking gas cap off because I lost the key. When I arrived they could not help me and didn't remember the phone call from 10 minutes earlier. I ended up waiting for road side service to arrive and help me. I had to go back in to buy a regular cap for my vehicle.
Came in for a simple sensor read, early in the morning when only Juan was behind the counter. He was helpful, efficient and thorough even being alone with multiple customers needing his attention. Thanks Juan! Appreciate your help
Brittany, the Parts Manager was so helpful and knowledgeable! She assisted me with several items including a fuse, head light and coolant. She helped me install them as well. I highly recommend anyone to this location.
Update 10-18-25 - needed another battery for another car. Jake the service person was just incredible. He called with an update, and got me a solution. 5 Star! Thank you Jake.

I had such a great experience at this AutoZone thanks to Manager Juan. His customer service was truly exceptional, warm, professional, and attentive from the moment I walked in. He’s extremely knowledgeable in his trade, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about helping customers find the right solution rather than just making a sale.
Juan took the time to answer all my questions, explain product options thoroughly, and made sure I left confident in what I purchased. It’s rare to find that level of expertise and genuine customer care these days.

Have been here a few times recently and always very helpful and friendly. Most recently had to buy new windshield wipers and Jake even came out in the rain and installed them for me!
Great service from Brittany, she tested my vehicle after the check engine light had come on, found the issue got the parts in and vehicle is running great again!!!
My wife went into this store looking for wiper blades. The Manager, Juan, stopped her and said he can help. Even though she had figured out the sizes she needed, he insisted on helping her. So he grabbed the most expensive blades and rang her up for $50. She asked if he could come out to install them. He said "it's optional for us to help because it's raining, you can wait for the rain to stop." What? It was sprinkling! My wife went back to her car and sees an employee taking out trash in a rain poncho! I drove from Chandler to return the blades with Juan, he lied to me and said he told my wife they were too busy. And they were NOT BUSY! Juanita should be a man and help a woman in distress like the AutoZone commercial says they will!
I'm just wondering how secure is your credid card devices ... I purchase a battery on the 9 at this location and I have another purchase from california I don't even live there , I already called customer service they don't even do anything..
Wow, terrible service, take your business elsewhere!! I brought in my car to do the “free battery check” since my car was dead and I needed a jump just to drive over. The employee, Javier was reluctant to check my battery for me but I begged him because I needed this issue addressed. He begrudgingly came outside to check the battery and cracked off the plastic terminal covering on my existing battery (Great! More things to fix now) I tell him ill buy a new battery since mine didn’t pass the test but I will need help replacing it (they claim this is a service they offer for free when you buy) He refused to change the battery for me because they are “busy” (there were only 3 other customers in the store, but he gladly changed a battery for the pretty girl in line in front of me, hmm) I was desperate and said i don’t mind waiting, but to no avail. He told me to go to O’Reilly’s, which I did and they changed it for me no problem. Pathetic. Thanks for nothing.
Juan was exceptional! Such great customer service! Fast, efficient and friendly! Glad I didn't go to dealer. He deserves kudos especially since I am an older female who he made feel understood and he explained everything. Great employee!!
My battery had a slow start this morning. Its August and 115 degrees outside. Did not want to get stranded. Stop by on my lunch hour. Jacob was super helpful. Sold me the battery and also installed it for me. Made sure everything was good to go. Fantasic customer service. Thank you again Jacob. David W.

Auto Zone is awesome, they were women friendly 20 years ago when no other parts stores were. Everyone else treated women badly. Back in the early 90's there was a manager at the South Scottsdale store named Mike Galloway. He was the most helpful man I ever met. I was young with children and I had a terrible car, he was so patient and kind to me. He helped me fix my car so many times when no one else would. I will be forever grateful for his kindness. I wish I could thank him for everything he did for me. I recommend Auto Zone to everyone and give it 5 1/2 Stars.
Avery helped me in a time of need, she was super professional and compassionate, such a beautiful attitude and demeanor! She helped me replace my car better from a to z! It’s located in a very safe neighborhood and has a free parking lot in front of the building which the team is able to assist you to from those parking spots depending on the issue.
Richard G went above and beyond helping with my battery replacement! One of the connectors was poorly designed and he spent about 20 minutes figuring out how to get the battery out, and then another 15 to take the connector apart and putting it back to together so it could be reused on the new battery. Couldn't imagine how long it would've take me to get the job done, can't thank Richard enough for his great work today!
I don’t know much about car parts or what’s best for the car, so i always ask for help. The staff is amazing, but a special shout out to Brittany R for the amazing customer service. Not only was she knowledgeable about the products in her store she also made sure we were signed up for the reward program and emailed our receipts to us. She ensured our experience in store was top notch!
Most AutoZone are typically very busy, and the staff is under knowledged. Brittany, R is amazing here. She provides exceptional customer service and it’s always had a solution or try to find a solution to any problem when it comes to finding parts, tools or products! Definitely be sure that your AutoZone rewards is active. But if you go to Brittany, she’ll make sure that that is taken care of.
Stopped in cause my battery died out of nowhere. Brittany R. was super quick to jump in and help out. She let me know which battery was best and what I’d get for my moneys worth. She installed quickly and I was off on my way. Can’t thank her enough for the help, 100/10 customer service from Brittany!!!
Manager Stephanie really helped me in a BIG BIG way today. A different Autozone improperly installed a battery and I was losing battery connection and power steering while driving. Stephanie fixed it for me today! Thank You Stephanie.
