Honest, dependable and reasonable. I have a 1965 CJ 5 with (unusually) a six cylinder Buick Dauntless engine. I took this vehicle to two other well recommended valley mechanics. Neither could get this vehicle to stop leaking!! Dave and his crew are professional and experienced mechanics that solve problems efficiently and completely. My old blue jeep has never run better! Also, Michelle keeps the business running, and keeps up with customers regarding changes to the repairs. A++
I can’t say enough good things about Acclaim. They are honest, thorough, and genuinely know what they’re doing, which is rare these days, especially with high-performance and classic cars.
As a new classic car owner (69’ Camaro recently purchased), I really appreciate how they take the time to walk me through everything. They don’t talk down to me or rush the process. Instead, they properly diagnosed the issue, explain what they found, and were completely transparent about next steps. No guessing, no unnecessary parts, just solid, knowledgeable work.
You can tell this is a shop that takes pride in doing things the right way, not the fast way. If you want a mechanic you can actually trust. especially if you’re new to owning a classic, Acclaim is it. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.

Great, thanks to Dave, Michelle, Rich, Chad and all the Acclaim crew for the outstanding job they did bringing our '72 Chevelle back to life. New engine and radiator, new wiring, and air conditioning, new console and shifter, new gauges and steering column. They did it all, and in the worst heat of the summer!
Their friendliness and hospitality made us feel at home and will be back for whatever service or work we need in the future.
I cannot speak highly enough about Michelle and her team at Acclaim. Being newer to the classic car space, I was concerned about fast talk, scare tactics, and overall being taken advantage of. That could not have further from my experience.
Michelle was exceptional to work with. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and all my various options. She kept me updated throughout the process and never made me feel like my "newbie" questions were an inconvenience. The mechanic who worked on my truck (Michelle's husband, I believe) took the time to walk me through the work that was completed and even stuck around to answer some additional questions I had.
This wasn't just a great auto shop experience, it was an exceptional experience working with any business. Acclaim has earned my trust and future business without hesitation.

Thank you! I am very grateful for the recommendation from friends and trusted business colleagues to take my classic 1966 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible to Acclaim. The car needed a complete mechanical rebuild, and Acclaim clearly has the knowledge and mechanical staff to care for your classic.
Michelle kept me updated with communications along the way, and the mechanical staff had the expertise to offer informed opinions on additional work as needed. Time, patience, and knowledge are essential with classic cars, especially with locating parts, and ACCLAIM certainly came through! The Caddy now runs like it just came off the showroom floor in 1966.

I can't even begin to describe how much I would recommend Acclaim. I took my car here for a leaky transmission and brake replacement, which turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made for my car. After fully understanding what issues I'd been experiencing, and took the extra step to listen to what I wanted to get long-term from my project. The work was fast, thorough, and all steps were clearly communicated with me. When I picked up the car, they mentioned that there were other areas of concern, and when I asked, they took time out of their day to put the car up on a lift to walk me through the issues. They also recommended other shops that would best be able to fix any and all problems they found. Acclaim greatly exceeded my expectations and I'll be bringing my car back for additional work when I can.

Extremely happy with Acclaim. I have a 79 Lincoln which had a ton of mystery leaks and they did an amazing job. They also don’t run up the bill on you which is hard to find.
My experience at Acclaim was fantastic. My classic truck that I poured heart, soul and $$$ into wasn’t running as good as it should have. After taking it to several other so called ‘classic car’ experts, all I got was a worse running and incorrectly tuned motor. Dave took the time to ask about my new motor making sure he had all the info needed to properly diagnose the problems. About a day and a half later, I had my truck back and it’s running like a champ. Dave also took the time to explain all the issues and all the previously incorrect attempts to make my truck run like it should. Michelle was very professional and is a pleasure to deal with in the office. This ‘classic car’ shop is the real deal. If you want your baby taken great care of and be kept informed and respected, Acclaim is your best option by far. Thank you, Acclaim for restoring my faith in a caring and honest auto shop.
I’d like to take the time to say thank you to Dave and Kenny and the young man that helped them on my vehicle generally speaking I would say that I hate going to repair shops. I do most of the work on my Trucks myself. They made short work of an issue that I thought was gonna be much greater. It was my first visit to your shop. I’m sure it won’t be my last, but the funny thing is y’all made me feel as though I was an old customer that had been there for years. Took 3 different classic cars here and every time, the cost kept escalating, they conveniently won't give estimates, and expect you to give a blank check, on the last car I went in for A.C. charge and a tune up to pass emissions, they said it required the motor to be pulled and the cam had to be replaced in order for it to pass emissions that this would restore vacuum problems, it didn't pass, so now they said well its the carburetor needs to be rebuilt, ( why not check this first) I declined, then the A.C. froze up, which cost another $1400 and still doesn't work properly, now they said its the wrong radiator, they just keep bleeding you, after spending $9200 it still won't pass emissions and the AC doesn't work right, they are all nicey nice to your face, but they're in it to gouge you as deep as they can, watch out, you've been warned! I don't recommend anyone with a nice classic car to go here unless your rich and have $$$ to burn!!!

Acclaim Car & Truck is the only repair shop I will take my vintage cars to for service and repairs. It simply comes down to one fact. The team stands by their word. Novel concept, right? When I first met Michelle, Ken, Dave, and the team, they shook my hand and promised to treat my vehicles as if they were their own. They in fact did just that. As any collector will say, we just want repair teams to treat our vehicles as we would. Acclaim does just that. My advice…. DON’T TRUST ANYONE ELSE TO WORK ON YOUR VINTAGE CAR OR TRUCK.
Ken and his crew do awesome work. When I took my 1961 Thunderbird convertible to him, it was barely drivable and in need of a full restoration. When I got it back, it not only runs great but is a lot of fun to throw the top down and go cruising in. Thanks Ken and Michelle ?
Can’t say enough great things about literally everyone on the team at Acclaim. They are all so gracious, knowledgeable and service minded. I have had my classic car in there for numerous things including a very complicated AC install and have always been happy with the results. They even fixed little things they noticed for no charge that were safety concerns which really shows the type of good people they are. It’s so hard to find a shop like this that doesn’t make you feel like you’re getting ripped off and Acclaim certainly doesn’t leave you feeling that way. Top notch all they way!

Company is very professional, excellent work ethic, knowledgeable on most Old Vehicles. They never will let a repair leave their facility until all the problems are taken care of. Made my 1977 AMC Pacer Wagon that runs perfectly as they rebuilt most of mechanical problems.
