My battery died while driving my family home from vacation in orange beach. He got up in the middle of the night, went to Walmart and bought me a battery, then came and swapped it for me to get me down the road. He was very knowledgeable of the area. Gave me very concise directions to a safe nearby hotel for me and my family to stay, as well gave directions to a nearby dealership to get my alternator replaced the next morning.
Kyle is a stand up dude, and I wish there was a way I could repay him more for his southern hospitality. Great guy!!!
In planning for a road trip, we thought we were doing the right thing to get new tires and repack/grease the bearings for our camping trailer. Well, 82 miles down the road on the interstate after receiving said service, we lost a tire due to all 5 lug studs breaking off. After this interstate unexpected mishap, we luckily were able to limp one mile to an exit and set up camp in a vacant lot in Hamilton, AL to try to figure out our next route of action. Being it was a Sunday, we did not have any luck in finding an open shop or repair service that could assist us; the few we did reach said it would be sometime Monday before we could expect repair. In the sheer luck of things, a coworker I reached out to contacted Lily's Wrecker Service, who was able and willing to help us put together a team in our time of need. In the end, it was all team work where Lily's Wrecker Service was able to locate and pick up the parts we needed and delivered them to us and then K&L Repair and Fab was able to arrive on site to fix us up in a jiffy. After several hours of a set back and the expectation to sleep in a vacant side of the road lot, we were back on the road safely. Thanks to all involved! Can't thank everyone enough!
Kyle of K&L is outstanding and does amazing work. He finds ways to solve problems and takes the initiative to connect all the solutions and get things done in the clutch! This man saved me my two dogs and all my stuff loaded up on a road trip on I22 set up up with a tow after my wheel shredded off. It was cold on a Sunday and he was working the phones to find me solutions too. He and his crew are some the best people I've ever met. If you need good people he's one. Rare breed!
Well, my day started out like many others. Traveling for work, minding my own business and BAM my alternator goes out. These guys towed me to their garage, had my parts delivered and fixed my issue within a couple hours. The day was saved and would totally recommend.
A tire flew off our trailer (w/ Ranger on it) while on I22. Snapped this pic at how close we were to K&L when i looked it up on @googlemaps. GREAT Service and not expensive. It took 10 minutes! 😲👏
Our car started misfiring on the highway and thankfully our Google search led us to K & L Auto Repair & Fab. Kyle went above and beyond to get us our parts, and got us back on the road with our van and trailer within a couple hours. The owners are honest and fair, and definitely know their stuff. My husband and I were traveling on i22 and the plastic sheet under our car broke loose and started to drag. We saw K&L on Google and gave them a call (around 10:30 on a Saturday). They answered and came to meet us at their shop. They immediately knew what we needed and took care of it!! We were back on the road less than an hour from when it broke loose. The price was more than fair and we definitely did not feel overcharged. Would 100% call again if in the area!
