One of my favorite antique stores around. A great selection of products and items. I love the folks who work there, especially the owner (i think he is) they greet you when you come in, have a conversation with you, help you find items and know what they have, given the fact they are it is other folks items. The other reviewers giving bad reviews because of prices, cmon yall they are not directly selling items. Anyway ? it’s cozy and worth a trip to walk around. Love this place!

Really nice curated selection. Entire store is individual booth style so the turnover of new stock is constant - you never find the same store twice. Prices vary but are largely reasonable!

Took my breath away! My eyes were so happy looking at all the figurines, pictures, lamps, jewelry, furniture, decor from past times. I loved this store!

There are many vendors at RVA Antiques. Some offer more contemporary finds, while others offer older antiques, so there's something for everyone here. One of the vendors had a great selection of late 1800s to very early 1900s furniture in excellent condition for fair prices, which is particularly hard to find. I picked up a few Christmas tree ornaments. Another vendor had CDs and lots of records - including some pretty rare stuff for very cheap. The owner rang us out and was very pleasant and funny. We will stop back in after the holidays!

I had the best time finding treasure & gifts for friends/family at RVA Antiques. Affordable, unique & fun w/ lovely owners to help remind me shopping local is always best!

The whole place has such great pieces, there were so many that I wanted to buy! Came back for this kitchen table set and found the perfect rug and the cutest picture to hang on the wall to tie everything together. I got the table set and the portrait from Ashley’s booth 16/17 and she turned out to be the one working in the store today! She was so sweet and helpful and it was awesome getting to meet her and let her know how much I loved her pieces.

I used to love going shopping in this store, hadn't been in awhile, decided to stop in after work last night. I seen this basket that I really liked, but was flabbergasted on the price. I went to put it back, when I decided to flip it over and hold and behold it had a tag on it from another thrift store. Talk about trying to rip someone off. So when t took it up to the register and asked is this a mis labeled, she said no. I told her, how can they up charge something this high when they bought it at a thrift store for $1.50 and call it vintage. She sold it to me for the the cheaper price, on top of that, the basket is not vintage, it's made in china, lol. I seen many things overly priced. Seen some new purses that they said was vintage, I have two of them, and they was charging outrageous for them. You can can get them on Amazon.

Regarding my friends review about Dean suspecting us of stealing and regarding his sad response: 1. The cross body bag picture is to show that it’s small and had her personal items and had no room to steal. But yet you stared at it and stared pretty long. 2. It’s really easy to save face now and say you didn’t think we were stealing when called out on your behavior. I’ve talked to a few people that have gone to your store and had similar experiences with you specifically so maybe you’re just a terrible person idk? 3. You did walk past the album booth several times and out of those times to ask us if we need help finding anything? Come up with a better excuse because if I’m in an antique store what possibly could you help me find? Yes you did help that couple once. Just once. What about that time you came back after asking us the same question, “oh that’s paint” at a booth near us. The 4th time around. 4. Im sure you looked back at the tape. I’m sure you also watch it while people are there too. Your paranoia could be something that therapy can help with :) 5. I know you put two 4’s but I guess my 5 is referring to your second 4. Hi yes I’m the friend that bought the clock. I also watched you look completely past me and watched them leave out. Whether you know if or not you’re making it extremely noticeable. Just like you, I’m pretty good at faking being nice. I didn’t have a nice chat with you. I wanted to leave and felt guilty I even gave you my money. But after the last very obvious look past me I was completely over you. I’m not one to leave reviews, nor am I one to “bash a small business” I love small businesses but I also don’t need to try to prove that to you. What you did is hurtful and I hope you can consider your actions instead of your normal argumentative behavior as proven on previous negative reviews. Your inability to take criticism and to instantly bash a reviewer is not a trait to be proud of. Do better.

I frequent RVA antiques quite often and today decided to go on lunch with two coworkers. There were three of us so naturally we all split up and went our own ways. Mind you we only have an hour to browse so maybe we looked to be in a rush more than the average shopper. I’ve had some interesting experiences with the owner, dean, the many times I’ve spent money at this establishment and didn’t think much of it until today. As I found my coworker, she inquired where our other coworker was. He was by the records so we walked there together. As we walked past the register, Dean made it visibly obvious that he was looking at my crossbody bag(which clearly was overfilled with MY personal items-no room to steal which he was clearly suspecting) My coworker had a tote bag which when a tote bag is pretty empty, you can tell which there’s not much in it. So we both ignored that but when we were browsing all the records Dean walked past on three separate occasions within less than 10 minutes asking if we need help finding anything. We both worked retail. We know you’re trained to ask a customer if they need help finding anything when you’re keeping an eye on them. Now on the 4th time he came back around and looked at a booth 5 feet away from us and said “oh that’s paint” to an item so loudly that at this point it felt extremely intentional on what he was doing. One of my coworkers went to pay for his vinyl and my other went to grab a clock she was eyeing and a vinyl as well. I had to use the restroom and I was already biting my tongue on this extremely disgusting behavior that I wanted to sit in my car. When my other coworker bought her clock and vinyl, she told me Dean rubbernecked completely past her to watch me and my other coworker(who mind you-gave you his money) to see if I’m walking out with merchandise. My coworker regrettably spent about $130. It’s very unfortunate that this behavior is tolerated because while there are nice things to buy here, my money will be spent at better and nicer shops in Lakeside. I was so excited to expose one of my favorite places to my coworkers but I ended up humiliated and embarrassed to have them experience that.

Not sure how they can call themselves an antique store. Very few actual antiques scattered here and there. More home decor. Rude staff and overall unpleasant experience. While waiting in line a customer came in and asked a question, staff made fun of them as the customer was walking out and continued to talk about them once they were gone. If you want to go antiquing do yourself a favor and give this store a skip. Follow up- not sure what the response to my review is referring to. Did not try to use the restrooms during visit.

Had a lovely time at RVA Antiques today. So many beautiful items and very reasonably priced! Very clean, and booths were arranged so nicely. Could have purchased a lot more that caught my eye, but we are from out of town and had limited space in our vehicle. Luckily we have family in the area, so the next time we visit them, another trip to RVA Antiques is on the To Do List!

This place is the absolute worst. They listed a settee on FB for 375.00. We negotiated for 300.00. I drove here from Norfolk to get it. They knew I was coming, and they sold it. Never reached out to me to let me know. They lied and said they called me but they didnt even have my number because this was done thru FB! Liars! Worst customer service ever. They said they don't hold items if you don't want to pay over the phone with CC. I never asked for a hold and they never told me that may trip may be in vain. Truly unbelievable. I will never step foot in that raggedy shop again. Tina is condescending nice/nasty person. And the guy up front at the desk isn't too far behind. And beware of Sheneeda Anna Delvey on FB Marketplace.

This place is lovely; however if you are looking for true antiques, keep driving. It’s at least 75% items from Home Goods or Tuesday Morning mixed with a little antique. To me it is not as advertised if you are looking for true antiques. Lovely displays, though.

My husband and I have searched numerous antique stores for furniture and decor for our historic home, and they were either overpriced or messy. We stopped in RVA Antiques and it was a welcome change. There is a great selection, the store was extremely clean (as were ALL items being sold), staff and owners are absolutely gems. We left with multiple items and plan to make more purchases soon. I highly recommend RVA Antiques!

Decent selection. You can even get items sold at dollar tree and Amazon for 5 times the price…

Antiques? Where? Not here, just decorating items. Nicely displayed and clean. We look for old stuff, not new things. An other thing that was annoying was that the music was so loud. Not sure why you need to crank up rap music so loud that you can’t hear yourself think. Made it unpleasant for sure. Also no restroom for the public. If they want people to browse they might want to reconsider their policy on this. As said, clean store of mostly newer decorative items.

I love RVA Antiques and stop by once or twice a month to see what’s new. Dean and everyone else at the store are super friendly. There is a great mix of vendors selling everything thing from furniture, pillows, accessories and home decor. Definitely with checking out for anyone interested in antiques or home decor in Richmond. Also check out their Instagram to see what’s new.

Wow! I have easily spent $1,000+ in this store in the past 6 months. I had items on hold at the register while I browsed for more items. I kindly asked the employee to use their bathroom. I am pregnant and frequent trips to the bathroom are quite common. The employee explained the bathrooms “aren’t for the public.” I will NEVER step foot in this store again after being treated so poorly after being a loyal customer. I also frequently recommended the shop to others who visited my home and complimented particular antiques. Truly can not believe after explaining I was pregnant and just needed to quickly use the bathroom, she still told me “I think CVS will let you use their bathroom.”

This store has a HUGE selection of furniture, art, knick knacks, jewelry and more. They have all kinds of stuff for every taste and in every price range. The store is set up by theme and is very cute and fun to walk around in and get ideas. I went here looking for a desk and left with a full dining room set, baker’s rack, an end table, and a coffee table because I just couldn’t leave these awesome pieces behind!! Definitely worth checking out for anyone who likes antiques or thrifting. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. You can purchase something and pick it up a few days later if you need to.

What a great place with a wide range of unique and eclectic home decor! Lots of refurbished furniture, antiques, vintage and modern art, jewelry, handmade soaps and candles.... there’s so much to choose from! I love this gem of a home decor store in Lakeside. Definitely worth a visit!

Love this place. Went to another place before getting to RVA Antiques looking for a skeleton key for my antique door knobs/lock. Couldn’t find any but luckily the lady up front helped me locate One. Turns out, it was the EXACT One I needed!!! Just when I was giving up she cane through! I fell in love all over again with all the vintage decor or handcrafted. Clean, friendly, beautiful environment. Recommend checking it out!

It's taken me a while to write this review; I had a poor experience here as a vendor. This was my first time vending, and I was excited, until I started getting put down by the owner. From the time of setting up and through the end of my short term here, I was talked down to and made to feel that I didn't belong. While setting up, one of the owners said "sweetheart, this booth is a mess". I never fully got over that, and the the same owner would constantly call me and treat me as if I was a burden and I didn't know what I was doing, nor knew what the customers want. In person he would give me looks of disgust and roll his eyes. I took pictures of my booth to share online and got good feedback, so even though my booth wasn't perfect (I didn't want to stay long enough for it get to that point), there was interest. My booth suffered because I didn't want to go in and have to interact with that owner. Attached is a picture to show it didn't deserve the treatment I received (though no one deserves that treatment!). Another factor was lack of diversity. I was the only person of color at the all-vendor meeting, and that made me feel pretty weird. I encourage strong consideration before looking into renting a booth here. There are many other places in Richmond that hopefully have kinder, more encouraging, and more inclusive ownership.

They have lovely used furniture and new inventory all the time. Great for someone on a tight budget. The staff is great, very nice and takes their time with customers. A great place???!

My wife and I have made more than a few great finds here, and pulled off a great deal of two as well. There is something for every summer or taste, the different booths run by different owners can vary greatly in what is available but that is part of the draw. Great vintage Christmas stuff during the holidays as well.
