Customer service from both the dispatcher and driver were great. It made a stressful situation a lot easier. I also appreciated the easy electronic payment option. Great service all around.
This was my first time using Glen Allen Towing. I was very impressed with Matt’s knowledge about my car and where to take it to after my accident. He was quick to arrive and worked very fast. Payment was easy to make also. I will definitely call them again in the future.

40 miles remaining on our 1000 mile trip to see the grandkids our transmission failed on our promaster. Our mechanic in henrico recommended Glen Allen Towing. I needed a tow to the shop when my car suddenly threw on the master warning light and screeching horribly. They came right on scheduled time and allowed me to ride along. Price was reasonable and the driver was very kind. Shoutout to Andre and this towing company for making car troubles a little less stressful!
Matt arrived quickly and called en route so I’d know when to expect him. He was efficient and cheerful even on a rainy day. Once he had dropped my car at the shop he called again to let me know and alerted me to a piece of metal in my tire. He went over and above with his customer service, which is all too rare today!
What are the chances you find yourself stranded at your dentists office with a flat tire while sitting next to the owner of a towing & recovery service business? Lucky for me that chance happening occurred today. When the owner overheard me talking to roadside assistance, he offered to help and immediately found one of his crew ready and available nearby. What could have cost me two hours instead had me up and running in 30 mins. The tire change was one of the fastest I've seen! The service tech was both knowledgeable and super friendly, even while working in a parking lot on a very hot day. I would highly recommend contacting them for any towing or roadside assistance need. I highly recommend Glen Allen Towing! After waiting on the interstate for over four hours for a AAA tow truck to show up (and they never did) I called Glen Allen Towing. The customer service agent advised that a driver would be able to tow my car in about an hour. Glen Allen Towing delivered on the promise. We didn’t catch the driver’s name, but he was professional, friendly, and adept at his job. We truly appreciate the excellent service provided by the driver and Glen Allen Towing!
After cancelling a towing service that indicated 2 hours but still had not call in four and a half, Glen Allen Towing was there in 17 minutes and had called me on the way about a potential issue. They could not have been more professional.
This company was very responsive in a stressful time. They gave me full instructions on how to go about picking up my car, what documents I would need, how to pay for it and that I needed to call ahead so they would be sure to be there after hours. I picked Glen Allen to tow my ‘72 Chevelle to a local shop as one of their specialties is classic cars. My driver was Frank, and he was polite and professional, and delightfully knowledgeable about my car, and many American classics. He loaded my car with extreme care and spoke with the shop staff upon arrival to ensure the car was unloaded in an acceptable spot. It couldn’t have gone more smoothly. My daughter was unfortunately involved in an accident in her car, resulting in Glen Allen Towing having to pick up. Well I wish I could tell you the fun stopped there ::sarcasm:: but it did not. There was a mix-up in regards to the VIN & the insurance company had recorded an inaccurate VIN that did not match the VIN on the car. This entire process of sorting out the VIN stretched out over a TWO WEEK period. It was incredibly frustrating to say the least!! But throughout this time frame I worked with a very kind gentleman over at Glen Allen Towing by the name of DAVID. This man could not have been nicer, more professional, helpful, patient the list goes on and on. There were a lot of calls I had to make to Glen Allen Towing and each and every time I called DAVID was nothing short of wonderful. He offered sound advise, suggestions and solutions to assist me in working through this VIN issue. Finally today after what feels like forever the car was picked up. So I wanted to ensure I gave kudos and showed my appreciation to DAVID for all he did to get this unfortunate situation over with as quickly as possible. Our car broke down at night in Glen Allen, VA. We first called AAA and were informed that a tow truck driver would be there in "2-3 hours." Hmmm...and, no. We called Glen Allen Towing and Robert Lewis came to our rescue within an hour. He went above and beyond to help us. He took us (me, my husband and Eli the Yorkie) to a nearby hotel, waited while we unloaded our luggage and then took the car to Southern Automotive Repair. Robert is kind, courteous and respectful. clay was a pleasure to ride with. made me feel comfortable on the ride over. as a new truck driver he gave me a lot of knowledge in our small talk. made sure my truck and I made it to a safe location (even advocated that I go there instead of the original destination my company picked) and I was good as well before taking off. clay was awesome and helped to lighten my day given the circumstances.
There is usually nothing good to say about being towed. When you are being towed, it is generally not a good situation. Today, my experience left me temporarily unbothered about the reality of what was next to come with my semi truck repairs. Clay came to the rescue. Clay was very professional and kind. I was so intrigued about the towing experience because of his passion. He was patient and educated me about the process and why he was so meticulous and ordered in every move. He explained the potential consequences if certain things were not done properly. Riding back to the dealership with him was a joy. He drove safely. His following distance was ideal, and he drove that nice clean Peterbilt, allowing me to feel comfortable. Most "Pete"drivers like to drive to show off the power. Overall, choosing Glen Allen Towing was right from the start. When I called in, David was very pleasant and helpful. He gave me a fair estimate and went above and beyond assisting me with options of locations to drop my trailer. He knew the dealerships in the area and the likelihood of them having a place to drop my trailer.
This is Fred the driver, Clay #50 came and rescued me last night. My company had tried for over an hour (after 1700 ) to get a heavy wrecker and no one would come. Either no or tomorrow morning sometime!! Clay called me to tell me about what time he would arrive , and he was early!! Super professional, looked around assessed the mess I was in and got me out there. I have to say. Clay in truck 50 did an amazing job having been pulled to tow a box truck for my company. Hands down one of the best heavy duty truck drivers I've had the grace of meeting. Pulled the truck right in to the back of my lot and dropped it in the best spot with no issues what so ever. Hope his supervisor sees this and personally thanks him for being one of the many few out here in today's world doin the most with what's given.

Someone answered my call immediately (which isn't always the case with towing companies). The guy i spoke with was very nice and gave me a quote with easy to understand rates. We set up a time to go pick up my son's car which was undriveable. The driver arrived on time and was very nice to work with. I would highly recommend this company.

I run a BBQ bus and had and had a dual blowout in Louisa. Clay came out on a Sunday and it was his Birthday to haul me back into Richmond! He great! Very knowledgeable, professional and timely. Ill start off by saying if your calling for a wrecker things cant be to good. But from the start dealing with customer service the young lady was absolutely cool took all info needed and dispatched a truck in under an hour.
The driver: So what pulls up is a heavy duty white and blue peterbilt and out comes the driver...1st thing he does is walks to me, looks me in the eye, and extends his hand to shake mine. Thats how you greet a customer. The driver STEVE is absolutely a true professional! From the moment he arrived till he dropped my truck about 20 miles away Steve and myself had nothing but great conversation! He's one of the guys that can change your life just listening to his knowledge and or advice.
