I found that I had a punctured tire last night, placed the order for service via my car insurance roadside service, and HC Towing came first thing this morning. Carlos checked, took the punctured tire off and put on the spare in under 10 minutes. He also took the time to answer my questions and was professional and courteous. Highly recommend.
Alex was contacted me as soon as KIA Roadside Assist ended my call. He was at my home within 30 minutes and had my vehicle parked at Charlie O’baugh’s (30 miles away) all in about an hour. Excellent customer service - something good on an otherwise bad day! 👍👏
Yeah don’t let this place tow you!!! They will take advantage of you and anybody you may know who needs a tow. Didn’t properly inform about prices and they tolerate racism. Not sure if it was the owner or not but they can’t even say good morning to a person of color!! I’d rather leave my car in a ditch then let these people tow me again. On top of that they printed a receipt for a specific amount and charged me extra without notifying me. First and last time I’ll ever accept service from here. Do better!!! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Alexi of HC Towing just provided the most positive towing experience I have ever had (and I've had a few, lol). He responded quickly, kept me posted on his arrival time and was friendly and positive. Had a great experience with HC towing! They traveled a semi-long distance to help us, showed up quickly, and were professional and friendly the whole time. They made a stressful situation much easier. Our street is super narrow and the snow made it worse, but they still got the job done! Fair pricing and excellent service — highly recommend!

Waited several hours for AAA just to bail on me multiple times for a tow out of the Harrisonburg VA snow storm. Called several companies that wanted to charge me $300-$600+ for a no more than 50 foot tow! Stumbled upon HC towing, and for a very reasonable price was at my doorstep in 20 minutes. Broke my shovel trying to get my car out during this snow storm, that combined with traction issues meant I needed a tow to get out. I got locked out of my car with the Harrisonburg snow storm today! I was able to have a tow truck come within the hour and help open the car in less than 5 minutes!! He made sure I had my car keys and that the car started before leaving. I appreciate his help and kindness in this situation!! 😊 Would recommend to anyone in the surrounding area for any towing/car assistance needs.
I would absolutely recommend this company. They were so nice and even dropped me off at the nearest hotel so I didn’t have to walk in the dark and cold after dropping my car at the garage.
Amazing service! My car wouldn’t start and I was stressed, expecting to need a tow, but the driver went above and beyond and was able to get my car started on the spot. Carlos and his team are so professional and friendly!!! I met him on a very very cold night when my car stopped working on me, and he not only gave me a tow with the most care a woman could ask for, he stayed with me till I got it back up and running!!! I had an amazing experience with HC Towing! I am a college student and recently my car broke down near their shop and they offered to tow me the few minutes down the road for free because my car was unable to move. Everyone I spoke to was VERY friendly and incredibly helpful and they gave me information about what they thought was wrong with my car so I could tell the mechanic. I am super grateful they were able to help me tow my car and give me information about what might be wrong! I would recommend them in a heartbeat!!

Big ups to the guy (didn't catch his name, my fault) that towed my car up to Bob Wade Subaru when my front passenger tire sheared itself off. My car didn't come with a spare tire and I was practically stranded on the roadside trying to go home for the Autumn Break. His quick driving and service managed to have me on my way with a new tire within the day. Hope I never have to relive that again (lol) but if I do, I know exactly who to call.

We were about to head home from our trip when our car suddenly wouldn’t start. Carlos came right away and first tried to jumpstart the car and check if it was the starter, but it still wouldn’t run. He then went back to get his tow truck so he could bring our vehicle to the service dealership. While we were already on our way to our hotel via Uber, Carlos called us again—he hadn’t given up. He had reached out to his mechanic friend for advice, checked one of the plugs, and amazingly got the car running!
Thanks to his persistence and willingness to go above and beyond, he saved us from the hassle of a costly tow, a trip to Firestone, and an unnecessary hotel stay. We truly appreciate Carlos’s professionalism, kindness, and dedication to helping his customers. Highly recommended!
