Terrible service I have been in Harrisonburg for 7 years and I always buy there and today they have a new young man who is the one who attends to people and attends to one with a bad temper just because one is Hispanic not recommended
Needed a new battery so we searched the web for a local store. After arrival I was immediately greeted and helped. Before being certain if we needed what I came in for Kenny tested and gave me a diagnostic. He showed me some small problems and gave his feedback. A wonderful individual and very knowledgeable. He changed the battery and cleaned the acid residue. Used all his tools and time to ensure customer satisfaction. A great employee and this establishment is blessed to have Mr. Fauls. Oh my god did Chris and Josue save us. When our car started to randomly shut down in the middle of driving 2 hours home, we stopped at this autozone 5 minutes before closing. The scanner wasn't finding anything wrong, but Josue knew it was probably a faulty battery based on experience. They certainly didn't have to help us when they were just closing the store, but Chris then went out of his way to make sure we knew what battery we had, which to replace it with, and then they both did the install themselves. They even took the time to sign us up for the rewards program, lol. They were so sweet and respectful the whole time, and it made the issue completely go away! Honestly I'm a lifetime customer now. Thank you SO MUCH!!
There’s a woman there that is so lazy!!!! Anytime I come there she always says “well we typically don’t do that” I’ve been taking my car to autozone for years since I was 16 to get a battery charged or changed and never had a problem with them checking or changing it. This last time I went to get a new battery after purchasing it I asked if someone could hook it up she looks at me with a rude face and says “ you want us to put it in to?!, I meeeean we can but we don’t typically do that” so a nice gentleman said “awe it’s fine I’ll put it in for you no worries “ then I just went in there to get my brake fluid looked at she says to me “ I mean we don’t usually do that or have the tools to test it but I can see if you need any” the other gentleman explained to me that they just didn’t have the equipment to test it to see if it was the brake fluid that was making my car make those sounds. I feel if you don’t like the job or don’t wanna help just don’t say anything and ask the next person whose willing or just don’t work at autozone where most employees are ready and willing to change a battery or explain a better way. I will never go back to this autozone if she still working there SHES LAZY!!! AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
I needed some help on finding some stuff for my car and this man named Sarcoat didn’t just help me but also teached me tons of stuff, he found all the parts I need and came to my car and showed me exactly what I’m supposed to do, he even offered to help me do it. he replaced my battery for me and even changed my air intake filter. I didn’t have to do anything
Bought some fuses to replace in my Honda Accord. Salesman suggested an inexpensive fuse checking device. Purchased it and saved me some time.
Also later had them check my "check engine light" warning (Malfunction Indicator Lamp on a Honda). Turned out nothing was wrong.

Just went and left from replacing a car key battery. Drake is exceptional store help. Not only did he replace the battery, but he immaculately cleaned the key with spray and cleaner, then went out to make sure it worked to open the locks! This is what customer service should be and left a very pleased customer. Thank you!
The workers are sorry and not willing to help with any problems trying to order parts needed a part for a truck and all the parts in the computer didn't match with a truck made in 9/1996. So I left went out in the parking and looked up the part for a 1997 and for a 1/3 the price I have what I need. All because they wouldn't do a little computer work

I’m not handy and the way the 2011 Civics are engineered, it takes an engineer to replace a headlight bulb—an engineer with tools. On a cold windy day the counter help guy not only crawled on the payment to put the bulbs in, he also cleaned the battery posts and connections. Above and beyond service. I’ll be back. Highly recommend.
The team worked super hard switching my battery out, even after they realized that it was damaged and going to be much harder than they'd expected. It took some unexpected tools, but they got the job done!
Shout out to Kenny, store manager for replacing my dead battery on Christmas Eve! Temp was about 15 degrees and he took the time to clean the battery components. Excellent customer service.
I guess I'm what you could call illiterate when it comes to anything to do with automobiles, I'm just not educated with cars, there was a lady that helped me in there, and I couldn't explain what I needed, so she came out from behind the counter and came out and helped me with my car and looked at it and told me what I needed, I said are you sure you're not going to get in trouble for this because I don't think you're supposed to go out to other people's cars from behind the counter, she said well who are they going to complain to about it, I'm the store manager lol! She helped me with every single thing I needed, I'm kind of embarrassed that I don't remember her name now because she even bent over my engine and helped me hook the thing up, if you think you can find that kind of service anywhere else at any parts store that don't make commissions and they only receive their regular wages, then I welcome you to find another place other than AutoZone! I hope that woman is still there, she was really kind and friendly, I should go back and say hello and thank her, but you know how life is, you get really busy and you forget about the little things that actually really matters, and that's when people treat you with respect and dignity and help you even if you're old and on disability!
AutoZone is a very good store and they have very good customer service and they definitely do hire the right people because they don't hire the people unless they have the brains and know how to do the job and have knowledge about Automobiles and automobile parts so that customers are never misled and in my opinion have very affordable prices.
Went in to get check to see how my battery was doing and Alex ended went out of his way to walk me through getting a new battery, installing it, and make sure things went smoothly. So very grateful!
I’ve always had good experiences at Autozone with customer service, but today, Alex Fries, at the store in N. Mason St. in Harrisonburg raised the bar for customer service even higher. He was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and eager to help me find solutions. He whipped out tools and on a cold day helped me change out burned out bulbs that probably would have taken 2-3 times longer to figure out. He even gave me tips on fixing other things that I didn’t have time for at the moment. Thank you Autozone and Alex!
I went to do a battery check on my car,
I went with someone who does not speak English but he was a man ,the employee asked him if he speak English, I have told him before he does not, but I do speak English, well he gave a wrong diagnosis just because I am a woman.
I am very disappointed.
I have experienced that is a crime to be a woman and go to autoparts or a shop to ask for help.
Robert went out of his way to help 2 moms helping their college girl with a very dead car battery. He drove with us with a portable battery, to try and jump it with no luck. Then rode back to the store with us so we could buy a new battery, then back to the car to change it out. Talk about awesome service!!! We really appreciated his willingness to help out.
Thank you to the awesome gentleman that sold me and installed my windshield wiper blades during the ice storm. He was under no obligation to install my windshield wiper blades but took the time to go outside in the freezing rain and then installed them for me. I know if I had to install them it would have taken forever and may have been done incorrectly. His help was so appreciated that my family wanted to thank him publicly.
This particular autozone does really well compared to most chain auto parts stores. Employees tend to be pretty knowledgeable. Napa/atkins down the street is better, but if you need something after 5pm, this is your best bet in the Harrisonburg area.
Amazing service. I went in for wipers, the associate went out to my car and removed mine, found the new ones, put them on. Didn't take 10 minutes. I've been going here for years but they have really upped their game.
Very helpful and knowledgeable, fantastic service... went above and beyond and swapped my wiper blades for me! What he did in under 5 minutes saved me from a frustrating half hour doing it myself. It was very kind.
A) Ordered something for pick up. Went to the store, where the only guy working was more interested in talking to his friends than helping customers.
B) Turns out the product I ordered wasn’t what I thought it was, so I asked them to cancel my order.
C) my credit card statement still had the charge on it. I called my credit card company and had to submit a dispute.
Conclusion: terrible service and until my credit card charges are resolved, they are literally thieves.
Always great customer service, greeted promptly and they are quick to help, and generally they always have what I need at a reasonable price, if they do not have it they have no issues getting it in, or letting you know what store may have said item available.
One the employees there helped me with a problem with the windshield wiper on a rental. He recommended a solution to get rid of my windshield streaks and it worked. Great guy! Thanks!
Took forever to get any help...with 3 people doing everything but helping the customer. While waiting, I got to see the cashier execute some excellent Michael Jackson moves....which was the best part of my visit.
