My car was taken there to be checked out and they called me to tell me a customer had backed into my car and broken a tail light so they called to tell me they were gonna fix the tail light. I said thank you when the car was picked up. The side of the car had been hit by the other car, They failed to mention that and they’re not gonna fix my car even though they fix the tail light they are claiming they have no responsibility. I would think when you called me and said someone backed into your car and I’m gonna fix the tail light you took responsibility and lied failing to say that the side of the car had also been hit and now they are refusing to fix it. The owner won’t call me back. Has some guy who answers the phone do his dirty work for him would not recommend this company to my dog. I will be contacting a lawyer to see what can and can’t be done on fixing my car.
There's only one place I'll take my vehicles to for a basic oil change or repair and that's Old Church tire & Service. Mark and this team are fair and honest.
My check engine light came on. I ask them to check it out and give the vehicle a general tune-up inspection. I was going to be out of town for a week so I just dropped it off and ask them to get to when they could. They found the problem and fixed it. I don't know a lot about cars but I know when I'm getting screwed. That's not something I have to worry about with these guys. The fixed the problem. I asked if there was any issues with my brakes or belts, etc. and they said there weren't any. My rear brakes were fine and my front brakes weren't worrisome enough yet. That's honest. Another place could've told me all sorts of stuff.
My bill was lower than expected and one I don't mind paying. I've been a customer for three years. No reason to go anywhere else.
I took my car in because I thought the oil pump was going out. I knew ahead of time to expect a big repair bill. It turned out that it was just a leaking sensor and my total repair bill was $164.00. These folks are good, honest people! They could have gone ahead and replaced the oil pump and I wouldn't have known any different. I know where to go in the future when I need auto work done. Great job y'all!
Great service ! Even put my tire pressures back on my 2500 like I had them without asking them to do so, after a tire rotation and inspection. That’s attention to detail! Second time I have used these guys for lousy non paying inspections and they have accommodated me each time . Highly recommend
Stopped in for new rotors and pads and they gave me a very fair estimate. Got the job done perfectly, quickly, and stuck to estimate even when some costs changed due to part availability.

I took my vehicle to them because my car kept cutting off and the check engine light came on. It was also driving poorly and wouldn't accelerate properly. Mark was very nice and told me he knew what the problem was. He also told me that he didn't have the part but he would order it right away. He also told me the amount of time it would take to do the job. The next day my car was ready and the price was very reasonable. I am very satisfied and would highly refer them to someone else. I would go back again.
Ultimately ended up using a different shop who had better pricing and could get the work done more quickly for an emergency tire replacement, however the person who answered the phone was very personable, professional and immediately called me back with more info. I would certainly use this shop in the future.
Not only was I impressed with the work that Old Church tire did, but I found something rare in a world that too often is self centered and everything seems to be money motivated. Old Church Tire and service Inc. went beyond compassion, I had a neighbor that desperately needed 4 tires at Christmas and could not afford them. There were some garages that were willing to consider helping with 1 or 2 used tires for which I was extremely greatful, but Old church called said they were giving 4 new tires mounting and balancing at no cost. Knowing the severity of the need, and their willingness to meet that need, it brought me to my knees in tears. I thank God for the compassion they expressed. Forever a customer.
We've been dealing with Old Church for years. We firat tried them due to bad experiences with other auto shops. We've found them to be courteous, competent, trustworthy and reasonably priced. They also don't try to gouge us by looking for any minor detail they can find as an excuse for charging more. If tires are worn, they caution you, but don't try to push new ones on you prematurely.
you can go here....... if you want to get overcharged for simple work. and please don't ask for an inspection, they will reject you on the spot so you can pay MORE money to have an issue fixed that you brought their in the first place. save yourself time and money, go elsewhere.
Excellent service. Went in for a scheduled oil change and was out in 20 minutes. I have gotten inspections here too and they are great. You can sign up for maintenance email reminders which is very helpful. Overall a great, honest place to get your car worked on.
Last week Firestone was going to charge me $800+ to replace an airbag module. After talking to a couple of mechanics, they both had a suggestion of what it could be. So I went for a second opinion. It turns out it was the airbag module. However, it cost $165 at Old Church Auto vs the $775 Firestone quote. Both places quoted after market items. So, I had Old Church Tire and Auto do the replacement. I had the same situation last year with another nearby private mechanic. He wanted to replace rear brakes. Took it to Old Church, for a second opinion, and they said the brakes looked practically brand new. I happen to look in my file for the car "needing brakes" yesterday and found that we had replaced the brakes two years ago. Old Church Tire and Auto has earned the business for all five of our cars.
Shoddy over-priced work with absolutely no attention to detail!
This place was referred to me as we were new to the area. My wheelchair accessible van needed some repair to its exhaust, a simple addition of a two foot piece of pipe with a short 45 degree bend.
Boy, did they screw it up!
Firstly, the pipe was too long and displaced the muffler back into a brace causing a horrifically loud rattle that was very apparent at idle. They didn't care!
Secondly, and more importantly, their jack-legged repair was more than 2 inches lower and actually drug the ground on the way home! Did they notice? No! Did they care? Obviously not!
Thirdly, they charged me $100 for this mess and were closed for 11 days so repairing their repair was impossible. Did they offer to refund part or all of the expense? No! They just said oh well!
Never take your vehicle to them!
I should have known better ....... I had my transmission rebuilt with Grey's "life time bullet proof guarantee". What a joke. after about 44,000 miles the 2-4 band went out again. And I got excuses of my catalitic converter was plugged up and caused the failure, to.... I was racing my car too hard. My car has a stock V6 and has never so much as squeeled wheels since I have owned it and shows no signs of abuse what so ever. My daughter still continues to deal with these people and has nothing but trouble ...... so my advise to you is after dropping your car off here, go right to the shoe store and purchase top of the line walking shoes because you're going to need them. I cant guarantee which one is going to wear out first!
I have used Old Church now for 2 or 3 years and have had them do several repairs on my family's fleet of vehicles. They have always done outstanding work at extremely fair prices. I can confidently say that the work they do will be completed at the highest levels of Christian morality.
