Awful company and poor customer service skills. Of course they're based out of Petersburg probably residents there as while. Very unprofessional, rude, and shows no regard for others. They immediately pull insurance claims but always fail eta and end up canceling them or the insurance has to cancel them and ban them from further use.

The WORST experience I’ve had with a towing company!!! Called my USAA roadside service and Mabry’s Garage was selected as the towing company. Waited for hours, only to see the ETA continue to increase. Frustrated with the last ETA, I called B&T Towing and they were there in less than 20 mins! Wishes that I had called them three hours earlier. Called USAA and canceled my service call. Within 5 mins, the Mabry driver called telling me that he was 5 mins away…….Hmmmmm!!!!

Im a Service Connected Disabled Marine Veteran, that have served to protect my country Honorably, and car was towed. Missed my schedule appointment and prescription refill today. In a Severe PTSD, Anxiety, Depression Episode, I called and spoke with Danisha, that was nice, understanding and calming, in my time of need, that was able to get my only means of transportation back to me in a timely manner, for me to get to the Veteran Hospital Emergency Department for care. Danisha was my Protector and Blessing. THANK YOU DANISHA FOR YOUR SERVICE HOOHRAH!

Do not for your own sake use this company. They completely totaled my car after failing to take proper precautions and securing my car to their tow bed. Consequently dropping it off of the tow bed and totaling a car that was extremely precious to me. The driver didn’t even have the decency to inform the shop that was expecting my car what he had done and rather opted to hand my keys off to a random tech and drive away. I had to get a phone call from the shop, informing me that my car had been totaled by this company. I’m extremely angry and to the owner that I know is reading this expect a lawsuit.

My insurance called this towing company and they were two hours late in getting to my location. Once they did arrive the tow truck drive could not load my car on to the truck/ trailer. He basically said there was nothing he could do and left . Super unprofessional. Very unrealistic of a tow company to not know how to handle a situation .

Very rapid response, less than 30 min on a Saturday to get tractor trailer off the highway. Kevin was very professional. Went above and beyond what most tow truck drivers would do. I would highly recommend these guys any time.

AAA dispatched them for my car broke down. Estimate given was 1 hr. He was there in less than 30. Driver was very nice and professional. I would compliment him by name but I didn't think to ask . Edited from 5 star to 3. Above interaction was absolutely 5 star.(And I did let AAA know that sothat driver would be recognized or at least excluded from the subsequent review)However, the issue with my car happened again 2 days later and your company declined to respond . We are closed for the night you said. I may be wrong but I was under the impression that if you had a contract with AAA you were required to be on call regardless of the hour. I am a 54 yr old disabled woman and I was told I would be spending the night in my car in a parking lot because your company wouldn't be available until the morning. Don't get me wrong . I whole heartedly feel that since AAA was who I gave my money to for membership they should have done what ever was necessary to get me and my car home . But if your company accepts a contract, they accept that you may have to pay your driver's OT to do a thing at 1 am.

I was out of town for a funeral, which was 3 hours from home. We were heading back and stopped in Petersburg,  Va.  It was then my car battery died!  My family and I—comprising four adults and two young children—were stranded. I contacted my roadside assistance service for help around 5 pm.  Unfortunately, the first company they dispatched did not show up. After multiple calls to roadside assistance and the driver.  I was told they were about to close my ticket for the night, it was almost 10 pm.  This would mean we'd need to find a way home or a plan to stay so that I could be back the next morning to wait for roadside assistance to unlock and jump my car. Roadsid assistance asked if they could attempt one more time to get a driver.  We had already been waiting 7 hours, why not!  This was just before midnight, Lamont answered my call. He had just pulled into his driveway after a long day but felt compelled to help. Thank God he did. He was quick, friendly, and well-equipped to assist. His help made a difficult situation much easier to handle. Note: I learned that in newer cars, once the battery dies, ALL the doors automatically lock. The key fob wouldn’t work. Unfortunately, i had placed the key in the car! If this ever happens again, I know to roll down at least one window to access the car.

Bradley with Marby's Towing was quick and professional. He took his time to explain information such as the process and checked my car for damages. Bradley did an excellent job. Thank you, Bradley!

Kevin arrived fast, helpful, and very professional. He towed my van from my friend’s I was visiting to S & B which is the best mechanic I’ve met. I would absolutely call Mabry’s again.

Horrible experience, Got my car but I wanna let yall know if your car towed here be prepared to pay 300+ and that’s just for having a few hours, could just imagine how much it is after 24. The Tow clerk is unprofessional and rude. Be very careful of this place because they also known for missing items out of vehicles . Worst Towing Experience but have a great day

Yes I agree. These people are shiesty. I had a terrible experience with their repair shop when they were located on Bolling Brook St. To begin I was referred to them by my insurance company after I wrecked my car. They did the towing and all of the repairs. These people put used tires on my car after the insurance company paid them to replace them with new. They were probably thinking because I was a woman I wouldn’t notice. Then the owner had the nerve to say he had no idea his workers did such a thing. Trying to pretend like he was innocent. I would NEVER do business again with these people for anything.

Honestly have no complaints about this company. Had two flats and they sent Someone out in about thirty minutes. Paco the driver was very courteous and helpful. Had car towed to a shop in Hopewell and he was bilingual and assisted with communication with the staff. Highly recommend this guy!

The tow driver was extremely nice and helpful. He provided great customer service. Mr. W. Lamont Mabry was very informative on what can you cause the issues with my vehicle. Great professional service! I highly recommend them!

The new management and ownership has definitely caused me to change my opinion and perspective on Mabry's. Top notch professionalism and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them to any in the area and if I need a tow ever again, Mabry's will be my only choice. Shout out to Mrs. Shay Mabry for her kindness during a difficult time.

This is the worst, unprofessional, non-class having establishment that I have ever seen. You can feel the nastiness pouring out of this place. They are some shiesty people. My daughter's rental car was towed. First, the associate told her if she arrived at the towing company before 5pm, that they would release the car to her. This is where the deceit begins. She knew that they could not release the car to my daughter because she does not own it. The car could only be released to the rental company. So, we get there (before 5 pm) and the associate informs my daughter that she needs to get some kind of release form from the rental company. She also informed my daughter that they only do releases between the hours of 10 am - 4 pm. This is more deceit because the associate knew full well that the rental company would never release that car to my daughter. All of this works in their favor because they are so desperate for money that they are willing to do/say anything to hold the car. Also, they would not allow her to get her things out of the vehicle even after she provided them with a rental agreement. My daughter had to call the police and get them involved in order to get her personal belongings. Once she got to Mabry's, one of the associates (I'm being kind because I have another title in mind) had the audacity to confront my daughter about telling the police how they weren't allowing her to get her things. She also tried to imply that my daughter was lying, stating that she had some sort of recording. My daughter missed 2 days of work because she was unable to get her laptop. She is a counselor and relies on her laptop to conduct her sessions. She has absolutely no reason to lie and nor does she have time to keep running up to that raggedy shop, dealing with their raggedy, dusty you know what's. They are pathetic and I pray that they are not in business for much longer with these poor practices. They need to be shut all the way down!! I get it...it is a towing company, and no one is happy about their vehicle being towed. However, you can still run your company in a pleasant, professional manner. Respect goes a long way. Something they DO NOT possess. They are trash!!!!! Update: The reply is ALL lies! And I am not touching that "providing the best customer service possible" comment. That's laughable. Your reviews speak for itself. Not that I have to explain myself, but my daughter has evening and morning cases. She in fact was the renter and only driver of that vehicle being that the vehicle is a loaner while her vehicle is being repaired. You did not have the keys because you picked the car up while parked in a NO-Parking Zone. The only thing that I asked was what kind of document that she needed and inquired about your bogus "release of the vehicle" times. I'm not going to waste my time trying to address all of these lies!! Like I said, you all are dishonest and TRASH!! My daughter most definitely learned a lesson here. She learned how shady and nasty people can be. So, thank you very much! And let's not talk about character, because you have none!! Instead of trying to justify, move on and do better. As a business owner myself, I would NEVER go back and forth with a customer, disputing THEIR experience. But that further proves my point, and we are obviously different. We most definitely will stay blessed! Do better!

Towed my Jeep twice. Both times drivers were super professional and nice. The dispatch there is amazing as well. I love watching them tow the cars along the parade route as well - grown folk having full temper tantrums as a result of Marby’s Towing and the Petersburg PD might be my favorite part of parade day. Keep up the awesome work!

Called for a tow, immediately had a dispatcher answer, who was courteous, provided an accurate arrival time frame and the price wasn't too bad. This is my Go-To company I would use if and whenever I need my vehicle towed.

Requested assistance through onstar because my keys got locked in my car. They sent this company and said an ETA of 90 minutes. I waited for 120 minutes until I finally called the company just for them to tell me it was cancelled with no remorse. If you see this is the company coming to help try to find a different one asap.

Awesome experience with Mabrys Towing, Hector was very personable, kind, and respectable during a not so fun time. Not to mention he showed up very quickly. Very Impressed, will definitely keep them in mind if I need another tow.

Mabrys Towing came out to tow my vehicle using my roadside through my insurance company. They were professional and communicative in setting expectations. Driver was efficient and took care of everything great. Would definitely use them again in the future.

My spouse had a horrible experience with this company. It took 4 hours from an original estimate of 90 minutes for anyone to arrive to assist with changing the tire. Then damage was done to the vehicle by the tow truck upon arrival, which resulted in the car having to be towed instead of just having a tire change. We were highly disappointed in the amount of time that he was stranded on the side of the road and the damage that occurred to his vehicle. It added more chaos to an already stressful and long day. I would not recommend this company.

They towed my car at 9:30 in a no overnight parking area, however the law defines that as any time between 10pm-8am so that's illegal. Also based on article 46.2 of Virginia law they overcharged for the towing of my vehicle, for example by adding a "weekend pickup" fee and a holding fee despite the fact it was picked up within 12 hours. On top of all that in the towing process my car was damaged to the point I could not drive without the car shaking. I had to call another tow company to tow the car to a shop. Please consider this when doing business with this company.

I had been assigned Mabrys for roadside assistance. They called me and estimated a 1 hour wait time at the MAX. An hour and a half later my boyfriend called multiple times and no one would return our calls. We decided to call the sheriffs department after 2 hours of waiting and they came and unlocked my car within 15 minutes. After we were on the road again, about 5 hours after, they had called and asked if we got my car unlocked. 5 HOURS LATER?! My boyfriend and I would’ve been stuck in Virginia for 5 hours?! SUPER unprofessional.

This company is very unprofessional and not at all to be trusted when waiting on a tow they will leave you stranded why.?? Here’s what the young lady told me. “My driver was called to do an accident call for the police department. Unfortunately that removed him from the towing that was currently scheduled. It's not our call. When the police department calls we have to rush to the scene.” They never called me to tell me I was waiting and it’s a good thing I looked at the app my company pays for through Allstate to see they had canceled without notifying me. Don’t bother doing business with these folks. This is an instance of trying to support black business goes wrong. Again don’t trust this company to tow you unless you are the highest bidder.! Sad!
