I really got taken on my last trip to Atlantic Iron and Metal. I've been a customer for many years. I brought them clean metal from a fire that I had at my house. I stated that I had clean metal when I came in, I told the unloaders that I had clean metal. When I went to check out, they paid me for metal minus TRASH/DIRT. They made a couple of lousy excuses, like 'it's burned metal' (Is there any better way to get clean metal?!) and we didn't charge you the DMV fee for that car (I brought them SOME of the sheet metal from the car that burned up, I am keeping the title because I am still rebuilding that car, and I just got rid of the sheet metal that burned)
I keep hearing from other people, friends of mine from church mainly that Atlantic Iron and Metal is getting increasingly petty with their excuses and not wanting to pay full price for scrap metal.
They needn't worry about having issues with me again because I will NEVER be back.
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Facility was one of the cleanest I've been to. Overall we had a great experience. We will be returning customers

Not only did I get a fair price for the metal I brought in, I got some of THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have received and the most welcoming greeting from their employee, Nick! He was so helpful; removing all of my metal for me and I could tell he thoroughly enjoys his job! I will ask for him each time I come! Thank You, Nick! See you soon!
