Huge shout out to Tony L, we had limited availability to see a Rubicon Gladiator- he took us right before close on a rainy, cold night no less. By the next morning, he was able to get us into a great deal! Southern was not the best place to buy a vehicle 3 years ago, but I'm glad I gave them another chance- I learned they were bought out 2 years ago, the change is very obvious. Thanks again, Tony! We will be back!

This was my first time bringing a brand-new vehicle here for service, and I’m seriously impressed. The team was lightning-fast—so fast that just as I was settling in to get some work done, they let me know everything was already finished. The paperwork was clear and well-organized, and it laid out exactly what was completed, which I really appreciated. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to have someone from the service department do a quick walkthrough of what was done and ask if I had any questions. That said, the overall experience was excellent: quick, smooth, and professional, and the waiting room was comfortable. I’ll definitely be back.

The process was very smooth and easy. My salesman, Reggie Myers took great care of me and spent time showing me multiple vehicles until I found the one I wanted. The Finance Director, Jerome Daniels was a pleasure to work with. He made the whole transaction seamless. Brett Lloyd and Mo Arib were a part of the process making sure I was taken good care of. I will be sending all my friends and family here!

Second purchase from southern gmc Greenbrier. Friendly helpful people, not overly pressuring. I like to know ALL my options and they were very patient in letting me see multiple vehicles and helping me compare until I was sure of which one I wanted.

We bought our Escalade used from Southern Liquidation. There were issues within 1 month. We did communicate this and called to make an appointment for both an engine leaks and electrical issues. When I called I was told my appointment was at Western Branch Chevy because those issues were not able to be dealt with at the Jeep dealership and was given a date/time. I went there with my list and a printout from a snap-on computer from our mechanic-the service center and Alex was outstanding. They addressed all my issues and started the extended warranty process, keeping us aware daily of what was going to occur. We received a call from Alex right before Christmas that Southern Liquidation would be assuming responsibility for the repairs and our truck was being transferred. Ok-due to the holiday it was with Southern for an extended period of time. There were items on the list that were fixed and at no cost to us or with the use of our extended warranty (which I still do not fully understand why that cost was absorbed by the dealership). The vehicle spent time at 3, maybe 4 different Southern service centers (western branch Chevy , gmc on military, Volkswagen and Jeep). We picked up the truck after new years, the only issue not being fixed was the side detection module (told they were on national back-order and no idea how long it would be before it was fixed-we were not given a follow up to when we may be notified of the replacement module. The most annoying issue we have to deal with is still not resolved. And that’s the alarm system. It goes off daily between the hours of 1000-1100, briefly for approximately 20-30 seconds. While the vehicle sits in our driveway. I was told this could not be replicated while it was at the repair center. But without fail, it alarmed the morning after we returned it to our driveway. When I called the service liaison to complain that it still was not corrected, I was told I needed to take it elsewhere for a second opinion and because it is about an hour from my residence. I gave two stars because (to the best of my knowledge) the engine leaks were fixed (I was also told the engine oil was changed, but it read 73% oil life the day after I picked it up the first time…so, who knows; everyone was very friendly when I did speak to them and majority of the other electrical issues were also addressed. So now I need to hope that BIGGS will fix our issue with the alarm when I finally get the opportunity to take it to them.

I was a walk in on January 30th and needed a state inspection and a oil change. The service tech was able to get me in and out in less than an hour. I came in prepared to have a long wait but was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Great Service!

I had an excellent experience at this dealership from start to finish. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and never made me feel pressured at any point in the process. They took the time to answer all of my questions, were completely transparent about pricing, and worked with me to find the best option for my budget. The vehicle was exactly as described, clean, and well prepared when I arrived. First off thank you all so much. The dealership not only has a professional atmosphere but also they make you feel like you’re part of the Southern Buick GMC- Greenbrier family. You can tell they truly value customers everyone we spoke with was professional, friendly, and welcoming. The entire process was smooth and stress free. We felt confident in every step with no pressure sales & transparent communication, and efficiency from all aspects of the dealership, from both Managers Brian & Mohamed all the way to the service department. Our salesman, Winston was terrific, answered all of our questions, very knowledgeable, and professional. He listed to our needs and explained things to us. Abdul in the Finance department is extremely efficient. He truly made the paperwork process easy & understandable. Let’s not forget he was able to get me a better rate than my own credit union was offering. We will definitely be doing business with these guys again.

Called ahead two weeks to schedule a very basic Recall when I spoke and scheduled was told it would take between one hour to 2 hours. My appointment was scheduled at 9 AM. Drop the car off the night before before called the dealership the following morning to verify they had the vehicle this call occurred at 8:30. I had received a text message at eight saying that if I had any questions to reach out To my service manager. When I spoke with a person in the service department at nine, they said the vehicle was on the lift and they hoped to have it done within the above timeframe. At 1 o’clock when I called there was nobody in the service department responding and nobody called me back at 3 o’clock when I called nobody in the service apartments was there or called me back finally at 3:30. I told him I was on the way to pick the vehicle up since I needed to get to work the following day. Come to find out from the service visor in person that the vehicle had been sitting in the lot untouched until I was on my way to go pick it up The service advisor said that he had received no phone calls all day long and as I was walking in the service manager called and when he found out, I was there promptly hung up on me to let me deal with the service advisor in person For a routine recall that is supposed to take two hours the incredibly poor communication communication within the dealership and the inability to keep an appointment is some of the worst service I have received from the southern automotive group if you can find anybody else to work on your vehicle I highly recommend taking your vehicle there.

Purchased a certified used truck. Service was great until recently. I have been trying to get a simple oil change since the end of November. I haven't been able to talk on the phone with a real person or get a simple oil change around my busy schedule. I might consider changing my rating if I get a real person to schedule a simple oil change soon. There has been some other issues that I let go but this one broke the camels back.

I am giving this a 3- I wish I can rate individual experiences. Sales department is a 10/5. Phenomenal experience and will recommend Southern Buick GMC Greenbrier to EVERYONE. The service tech who was supposed to be the connection between the maintenance and I, was awful. A miserable experience and as I was upset that I drove 45 minutes for this appointment- the other check-in agent saved the day. I think everyone there realized how rude and unreasonable this woman was being and helped get us out of the place within a reasonable time. I am kind of disappointed that GMC has a person like this working there dealing with customers.

I purchased a 2022 Kia Telluride from Southern. In 2026, my vehicle experienced driveshaft issues, and Southern Buick GMC handled the repair under Kia’s 100,000-mile warranty. The issue was resolved without any complications, and my Telluride is now running smoothly. A big shout-out to Rebecca and the service team for their excellent customer service and support throughout the process.

My experience was amazing with each member of Southern Kia Greenbrier I encountered. The team makes sure that your needs/wants are met professionally with importance, care and stress-free. From the customer service department, to the salesman I met with (Christopher Lattimore), to the finance manager, everyone was great! He broke down the numbers of some cars I was looking at and found the perfect vehicle to fit my needs as a mom of 3. Go to Southern Kia in Greenbrier and ask for CHRISTOPHER LATTIMORE !! He does his best to make sure he can get you what you want/need, within your budget. Jerome was great in finance and made the paperwork portion smooth and an easy process. I had an 7am appointment with Kia service department for my secondary car older model Kia was happy they was able to order the part and put it on. I wasn’t happy to know that since I dropped my car off and not wait their until it was done that my car wasn’t ready at 2pm. I worked in the area so my thought was I drop it off at 7am and it should be done by 230 when I got off. I did reached a few times before I got off to check on the status but no one could give me an answer it was always they had to reach out to customer service desk and give me a call back. I go to the one in greenbrier vs the one near my neighborhood in va beach because greenbrier gives a more friendly vibe. But this is the second time I’ve been unhappy with the service and starting to reconsider my options. But my car handle is fine so far.

The sales department must be better than the services department, but I’ll never know because I’ll never go to this dealership again. I have been dealing with an issue since JUNE (2024 Envista ST btw) and no one in the services department seemed to care. I had to ask for a new advisor because I could not listen nor talk to Antwan again. But Kim wasn’t any better. TERRIBLE customer service all around. The services department deserves one star, but I’m giving two stars for the young lady that helped me with the rental and the Kia manager. Once I pick my car up, I will not be dealing with this services department ever again. And I hope this review reaches the general manager so that he knows his service manager, Joe, was “out to lunch” at 4 in the afternoon. Oh, and I’d be more than happy to share my entire experience if anyone wants to reach out. 10/10 do not recommend.

I had an awesome sales experience starting with Kacie Folsom who set the tone with courteous and professional service. It didn’t stop there, the Managers and finance staff worked the magic numbers and we had a deal. Kacie again came through on the delivery catching a few minor discrepancies that the service department corrected. An overall outstanding experience.
