I had a headlight that went out and it was a young man there who didn't know much. He was new I guess but he never gave up and I was going to another store but he convinced me to keep trying and we found the part at his store at the lower price. I'm thankful for the hard work and dedication to customers for this store

I’m a pretty regular customer at this location and when I went in this morning I couldn’t believe there were 4 employees there and not one even acknowledged me or tried to help me find what I needed. Never happened here before. They all stared at me but never once offered help

We were six hours from home when our check engine light came on. I've never in my life experienced such incredible customer service and support as I did from Josh. He truly exceeded all of my expectations and we were back on the road in less than 10-minutes.

I thought my check engine light was on but the problem was with my headlights. Staff went above and beyond and installed it for me right there. Micheal was so helpful! As an out-of-state college student it’s great to have a place I can rely on in Williamsburg!

Broke down on vacation, called to verify the part, paid $40 for an Uber ride. Get there and they can't find the part. Employee acted like he could care less. Had to ask him to recheck 3 times. Extremely frustrating experience.

Ricky at this store is professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He changed out a battery for us and it was a more time consuming job but he did it with excellence. The people at this store really know what they're doing and I'll come back for anything I need.

I desperately needed a new battery for my 2010 Acura so I could get to a medical appointment in Charlottesville. The young woman behind the desk was professional, courteous, and obviously very strong: she lugged the new battery to my car with ease did the fastest battery removal/installation I have ever seen. Fantastic service!!!

On April 4th, around 11:45 am, two gentlemen helped me put my car back together. They provided some zip ties and introduced me to Jose, who assisted me with what I needed to ensure my vehicle was okay to drive. Thank you guys for the amazing customer service!

The staff is amazing. Super friendly and extremely helpful. This was my first time using Auto Zone for anything and they made getting a battery and changing it a simple process. I recommend this location and will be back next time I need a part.

My car broke down the night prior to going to store. I took starter off my car early the next morning and got to store before they opened. I talk to employee outside before store was open and told him my story. He got in store and before they opened the door for public he pulled the starter i needed to make sure they had 1 in stock. He went above and beyond.

Gregory was amazing! I called ahead of time to see if they had a battery in stock for my 2016 Honda CRV that had died as I was heading into my second job. When I arrived he had tested the battery and had it waiting for me, then installed it! A blessing for sureee. Thank you Gregory and Autozone Merimac!

Auto parts stores can attract a very wide variety of folks. I just left this store and am AMAZED by the patience displayed by a technician, Freeman, who was helping a customer having a very difficult time understanding the process of a refund for a radiator. I have worked in customer service many years and have never seen professionalism like that. Bravo, too, to the team for handling very high volume with grace. I will definitely be back!

Thank you Auto Zone on Merrimac Trail in Williamsburg, VA!! The staff is super friendly and helpful!! We are on vacation from Massachusetts and the heat fried our battery in our vehicle. Mara was amazing and she helped get us all fixed up and back on the road. Can’t say enough good about this store and the wonderful staff! 😊 Thank you so much!

I came to autozone and was met by Jack R, who kindly and efficiently rectified the scraping. I’m so grateful for his eagerness to help us. I called ahead to make sure they had a battery for my SUV & the helpful clerk verified it and said they would put it on a charger to make sure it was ready. As soon as I got a jump start, I drove over. They were short-handed so it was a bit of a wait but the checkout was fast & easy. Another wait for someone to come out & swap the batteries, but then we were on our way. 😊 Hot tip: military discount!

I’m from New York I move out here bypassing Mr. Freeman and Joab from your store is the best I’m really a O’Reilly‘s type of guy but today and from day on I’m 100% AutoZone you keep hiring people like this you will have a lot of customers anybody can make a sell, but they just really made a customer Keep up the good work guys

I kind of like this place. I pass by it almost every day. Checking out my Corolla for inspection and decided to change original rear brake shoes with 305,00 miles on them. Picked up shoes,$65.00, wow. Came in a brown Chinese box with their Auto Zone sticker on it. Hand brake pivots won't fit, have to be reamed out. After installing brake shoes manual adjuster adjusted half way out before shoes contact drum insinuating shoe matl. too thin. Management says "can't do anything about corporate". 4 problems 1 price, 2 not manufactured correctly, 3 found online for $17.95, shoe thickness not correct specifications

Overall very helpful. They provided the necessary tools for me to replace my headlight bulb. The 1st guy was not very helpful and provided no alternative tools. The 2nd guy stepped in and provided the customer service i was accustomed to receiving.

I've never in my life experienced such incredible customer service and support as I did at this AutoZone. This place truly exceeded all of my expectations, and I am so grateful for the amazing team of employees who went above and beyond to help me with my car troubles. This past week one of my car's cylinders was misfiring, so I drove it to AutoZone to work on it. I spent two days working on my car in the parking lot, and during that time, I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with six or seven different employees. Each and every one of them was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with me as I worked through the repairs. I was especially impressed by the dedication and commitment of Philip and Kim, who both went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed to get my car back on the road. Kim stayed well past her shift end, helping advise me and my friend on a difficult soldering job that we simply could not have managed without her expertise. And throughout the entire process, she remained upbeat and charming, making the experience as enjoyable as it could possibly be. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about the employees at AutoZone. They truly made me feel like a valued customer and went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed to succeed. If you're looking for a store that truly puts its customers first, then this AutoZone is the place to be. Thank you to the entire team for an amazing experience - you guys are the best!

The 2 young ladies I interacted with were super helpful, kind, courteous and friendly. They treated this old man with respect and didn't act like I was bothering or getting on their nerves. Please keep these young ladies at this store. They are super stars. I wish I could give them both a zillion stars each.

I had purchased a battery from here last November and my car wouldn’t start in October it was still under warranty so I brought it back and they checked it for me and got it charged I was satisfied. Then about 2 weeks later It happened again so I brought it back explaining the last time. The associate there looked in the history gave me a new one and installed it for me. No charges as it’s under warranty. I am extremely happy and back on the road. Thanks 😊

Very great experience :) The employees were very helpful and polite. The one employee, Blair Donnell, was especially helpful with helping me to locate the correct part needed for my vehicle as well as coming to my car to show me how to replace the part with the new one as well. There was no rush or anything even though it was also 10 minutes until closing as well. :-) I was very pleased with the service I received and will definitely be returning more!

The employees are typically very nice and helpful when we are in the store, but I was very unhappy today. Two employees had the door propped open and were both smoking cigarettes... letting in blow into the store and didn’t move when I went to walk in. I had to walk through their smoke and and then I watch them rock paper scissors to see which one had to put out their cigarette to come in and help me! Wow how rude and disgusting. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

My family and I have been vacationing here in Williamsburg all the way from WV. We started having car troubles and pulled into AutoZone where I was helped by the store manager Mike. He determined that the battery needed to be replaced. He really went above and beyond his duties to ensure that my family and I left there safely. Thanks for all your work, Mike. We very much appreciate it. You really helped us out of a bind. Great job!!
