Purchased 2 batteries for my Jeep Compass online with the idea that we would head in the next day to have them installed. When we went to turn the car over the next morning, the Jeep would not start. Called insurance to have roadside assistance install the battery (with coverage), and the tech that was dispatched could not complete the job (no tools and no knowledge/experience in changing Jeep batteries); however, he offered to tow me anywhere I wanted to get the batteries installed. I called Batteries Plus, and they were amazing. Towed the car to the store, and Corey was GREAT! He got started immediately with the assistance of Josh, and not only did he install the battery, he was knowledgeable and patient in answering my questions as I watched him do the install. Josh was also knowledgeable and helpful in making sure I had the correct auxiliary battery, as the one I initially purchased online wasn't the right fit. There is an auto parts store not too far away, but the techs could not guarantee that they would be able to install the batteries they sell. Batteries Plus never hesitated. So happy with my experience at Batteries Plus. Corey and Josh - thanks for getting my daughter's Jeep back on the road!

Jan 2025 I bought a new Xtreme 20HL motorcycle battery. I use the bike and when I don't I top off the battery with a standard battery tender. I also frequently measure the voltage across the posts, looking for ~12.7-8V. After around 10 months of taking good care of this battery I found that over a few days it would not hold more than ~12.4V. After a couple more months I could top it off (to ~13.1V) and in a few minutes it was back to 12.4V, but not less than that, meaning there in no parasitic drain in the motorcycle pulling the battery down. I took the battery back to the store where I bought it expecting some warranty consideration, but was told No and so, since I needed the bike, I bought a new one at full price. It is holding a 12.8-9V charge. It's the last one I will buy from Batteries Plus.

Trisha Martin put a battery in my 2022 XT6 Cadillac like it was nothing. Most places wouldn't touch it due to the sensitivity of the computer being attached. She did better than the Cadillac dealership.

The large dude behind the counter was unhelpful, and frankly extremely condescending when I came through to ask about a part I needed for a repair for my smartphone. I only learned after the fact that my girlfriend had a similar experience with the same man when inquiring about a light bulb we needed prior. Safe to say I won't be back to this location, on account for their awful customer service.

Very helpful. Reasonable prices on cell phone screen replacement. They were about $50 less than some of the other quotes I had.

I recently went in the store to ask for a PX28L for my film camera, which they did have and at a reasonable price. The concern is that the staff told me that I needed the PX28A which is an alkaline battery and I was skeptical, so I bought both the PX28A and the PX28L. I asked them specifically why I should get the a version, and other than anecdotal evidence was presented no clear case. In researching the difference, not only is the lithium version longer living, it also maintains a 6 volt output longer while the aversion drops voltage across its life which can impact the accuracy of a light meter inside of a camera. In addition the lithium is able to operate in lower temperatures than the alkaline more reliably. Other than price, there's literally no reason to buy the alkaline version. Well any other store this wouldn't be a big deal, but when you go to a place which is supposed to be an expert on batteries, and they're not experts, you get two stars

Both people there today were very helpful and friendly. Great customer service. We needed a spare key fob and had them program a car key fob (bought on Amazon) for a Hyundai Kona and it works! We saved so much money compared to buying at dealership. And just had to pay the $85 programming fee.

I can honestly say I walked into Batteries Plus completely misinformed about a battery purchase. I thought I knew what I needed, but I was quickly humbled by how little I actually understood. Thankfully, I had the pleasure of being helped by the store owner, Tish, who completely turned the experience around. Tish was patient, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable. She didn’t make me feel embarrassed for not knowing, but instead took the time to explain everything in detail so that I could make the best choice. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine desire to help stood out to me in a big way. Because of this level of service, I won’t go anywhere else. Batteries Plus has earned my trust, and I’ll always be a repeat customer at my neighborhood store. If you’re looking for great products and even better customer care, this is the place to go!

Went into the store today to have a phone looked at after visiting T mobile. The store manager was very supportive, looked at my phone, and did a repair before I had to travel the next day. Great customer service!!

I purchased a Group 48 Duracell Ultra AGM battery from this Batteries Plus location in September 2023 and had it installed on-site. On Saturday, July 26, 2025, my vehicle failed to restart after going into auto start-stop mode. After a jump, I returned here and staff tested the battery, stating it simply needed a charge. However, a diagnostic at the Honda dealership showed the battery was only producing 450 of its rated 760 CCA. When I returned with the dealership’s report on July 31, the battery again tested low (11.9V), but staff declined a warranty replacement. I ultimately purchased a new battery elsewhere. Unfortunately, this location did not honor the 48-month warranty as expected. I recommend asking detailed questions about the warranty criteria before purchasing.

I took my 78 year old Mother to the Williamsburg store on 6/14/25 to have batteries replaced in a bag of what I thought were fashion watches. The cost for the 7 watches would have been over 100 dollars so she decided on 3 watches WITHOUT the warranty. One of the watches was a Citizen Eco-Drive. The employee (maybe manager), I didn't catch his name but the receipt says David. He changed the rechargeable battery in the Citizens Eco-Drive with a Renata 317 battery, and set the watch. The rechargeable battery has a tab on it, there is no way he didnt know what type of battery was in the watch. This model watch doesn't have a second hand so my mother thought it was fixed. She paid for 2 watches, the third didn't work with a new battery. When I got her home (she kept the watches in her hand) we noticed that the time hadn't changed. Once I looked closely at the watch, I saw that it was a Citizens Eco-Drive. I called up to the store and spoke with Corey, he told me they DO NOT service those watches. They have to be serviced by a AUTHORIZED DEALER. He looked for the battery and it wasn't there. Now my mother is out of $17 dollars because the receipt doesn't specify the watch description ONLY the battery and she has to get the right battery( approx. 25-50 dollars) Unacceptable, he could clearly see what type of watch my mother gave him. If she decided on the warranty, he wouldn't of touch it. If you don't know what type of watch that you have, don't count on this store to tell you!

I received excellent customer service both times I visited. Tisch went above and beyond. When I explained to her the malfunction with my mobile phone, she methodically troubled shooted it through a series of steps. When she was done, it was charging normally once again. When I returned on another visit, I was helped by a male with blue painted fingernails (sorry I forgot to ask his name). He wasted no time trouble shooting my current wall unit and cord. Through this process he discovered it was not my cord that needed replacing, but the wall charging unit. These two people "know their jobs." Ask for either of them if you need service. They are not lazy or unknowledgeable and try to sell you anything without ensuring you have the correct product. Thank you to both and continue the excellent work.

Refreshing honest assessment regarding life for my phone battery. They took the time to analyze my phone battery usage and let me know that at this time, they wouldn't recommend replacing it. I'll be back for all my future battery needs. Much appreciated!

I needed a battery for a 15 year old Corolla and ordered it online. I had a problem with the website initially (not because of the website, but my own inability to see). I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to apply a 20% off that was offered. I thought, I will just order this and hope it wasn’t something I needed to do and that it automatically came off. It didn’t. As I ordered on a Sunday evening, I waited and called Monday morning. I spoke to “Tish” who is the general manager at the Williamsburg location. She not only cancelled (declined) my original Paypal order, but stayed on the phone to walk me through my reorder. WONDERFUL lady offering amazing customer service! Thank you!

I would recommend this store 10 out of 10 times. They are so helpful and obviously value their customers. I recently purchased a car battery for my daughter's car and the manager and technicians were FANTASTIC! Above and beyond service. Definitely received the service and care that makes me want to return over and over! Highly recommend!!

I bought a pack of rechargeable batteries and charger at the end of September. Turns out I didn’t need it and never opened them. Store would not take them back because of the 14 day return policy. Store passed the blame on to corporate of why they weren’t allowed to take it back. I called corporate and they said it was the store manager or owner, and how much they valued their customers service rating. I went back in and shared my conversation with corporate. They would not take it back, so much for customer service.

Vary helpfully iv been to this store about 50 times now for many thangs battery's car keys/fobs thay offer many services phone repaired battery replacement many services I do all my own electronics repairs so iv never used the services but iv heard good thangs about the services but as far as having the best battery's in willumsburg thay have the best Trojan x2 xs power Duracell and many others that can be orderd

I have gone to this Battery Plus shop numerous times. The Staff are Always friendly and have great guidance. I brought a WaveRunner battery in to test. They kept it overnight to charge it back up so they could measure the remaining charge accurately. They treated me with respect and were very knowledgeable with their product.

Corey is such a blessing! We were scammed by our car dealer’s service department and after all that the battery died. So Corey came to our rescue early on a Sunday morning and diagnosed and replaced the positive terminal on our battery, which the dealer failed to do. We are so grateful for his amazing customer service!!!! We will definitely be going back. Thank you!

I’ve never been to batteries plus before. Was helped by Dominic at store #217, and helped by Tish, Josh, and Corey at store #662. They were all extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. I used to trust an auto parts store (Not going to name it here) for my car batteries. The experience I had with batteries plus solidified that I will never shop anywhere else than batteries plus. Not only were they awesome but I paid the exact same price for a better battery (higher AH) and a year longer warranty here than my previous go-to.

I ordered online and picked up in-store an hour later. Sales associate was very helpful and checked to make sure I had selected the correct replacement bulb. Explanation about the exchange policy was helpful as well in case the product didn't work correctly.

Chrysler wanted $350.00 plus for a new key. Batteries + Bulbs got me right in and did it for $158.00 out the door! Great job guys and many thanks!

Ordered six batteries for my golf cart and one for my car online at 8pm. Received an email at 8am the next morning that they were ready for pickup. Once I arrived, they quickly took my old batteries out of my trunk and placed my new ones in, all in less than 15 minutes, in and out! Great price, Great service.

Great place. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They did not have the special lithium batteries i wanted in stock, but it was shipped to the store quickly and work perfectly. I will order more! The bulb selection is fantastic. They have had, in stock, many rare bulbs I have needed. Keep up the great work
