Great customer service and knowledgeable techs. Good explanation of what is wrong and show you before fixing.

Brought my car in for a state inspection. They don't take appts, only first come first serve, morning drop off only. I was a little late in the morning, but Tyler said he would see what they could do. I was #8 in line. Imagine my surprise when I got the call, it was done! On pick up, Tyler was once again super friendly and helpful. AAA members get a discount too, which i did not know about. What a(nother) pleasant surprise! Thanks guys!!

I took my car here because my mil is a member. The staff was rude. My car sustained damage to the paint and when we reported it to the man at the desk he laughed at us printed out a pamphlet of paint recall for my make and model and told us someone in California had to review the parking lot footage. They called and said it had the damage when the technician took it into the garage and my motion activated filming device did not capture inside their garage *weird* they then said it did not matter that it didnt have the damage when we dropped it off they're not responsible for damages caused in the parking lot. Over all I would say the price of the oil change was ok and the work sufficient but the damages to my car are not acceptable there is also damage to the interior which is OIL so I will need to pay for interior cleaning as well. :( I did not like my experience i wasn't treated respectfully or with empathy. I will not be returning.

I brought my car in not too long ago and I've never seen such a rude and unprofessional tech. A Heavy set Caucasian male with glasses. I believe his name is David. He was extremely rude to not only the customers but the techs too. This isnt the only time I've seen this grown man act rude and so childishly. For AAA to have such a person working for them is just outrageous to me.

The AAA team at this Williamsburg location were great. They went over all the details of the inspection and paperwork. We highly recommend them for your auto work in the future.

After an accident on I95 my vehicle was towed here for repair. Duane, the manger took fantastic care of me. He listened and did EVERYTHING he could to get me out of a jam and back on the road. He treated me fairly and like family. I was treated with respect and care. What a great man! AAA put 2 tires on my vehicle and I was able to travel home safely a day later. Thank you Duane for your help! .

David, who works up front, was super nice and left detailed messages in a timely manner. He described the work that needed to be done and gave us options. It's the 1st time that I've been to a car place where I did not feel like we got ripped off. I was actually surprised to get my jeep back that day, and with working heat! Thank you guys so much!

Always great care care service! We have taken both vehicles to this location for maintenance and vehicle inspection over the last 3 years without a problem. The guys on the front desk are always positive and will do whatever it takes to get you in and out in a timely manner. I highly recommend this location. Thanks!!

Fit us in for inspection on a busy day, very clear expectations and pricing. No one can do miracles but they were professional and clear, while also making things happen that are hard to do short notice.

Sadly we are disappointed, this used to be our go to place when my wife worked up the street, recently had issues with our Nissan, pulled into Autozone to evaluate our check engine light, the codes were serious so went immediately to AAA to get service, they were able to get us in, ran the code check and told us what we needed also recommended changing plugs as the issue we were having could foul the plugs, they quoted almost $700, we agreed and the service was complete, (I do want to say that we didn't look at the quote closely so Caveat Emptor) we got in when complete and the car exhibited the same issue, but only once, i figured it may have been a blip, the next day it happened again, we called and spoke to our advisor who seemed annoyed about it, we brought it back and after 2 hours told us they missed a code and could not work on it we needed to take it to the dealer, I asked for the code print out and he told me he would put everything on the paperwork and was not going to charge us for the additional evalustion? When I left I looked at the paperwork and noticed $47 and change for each spark plug plus labor, Wow what a shock, the dealer.only charges $32 plus labor. The dealer will not accept anothers code evaluation and charges $175 dollars. sadly I feel taken.

They've finally lost my business. We have brought our vehicles here for state inspections and other repairs for over 8 years, but no longer. They make too many mistakes. Most recently, I brought my Honda Odyssey in for a brake repair in July and it needed the same repair again two months later because they failed to properly diagnose the issue the first time. They only treated the symptom. I had to have another mechanic properly diagnose the issue in September to really fix the problem. It's bad enough to pay for the same repair twice in two months, but when the risk of a job done poorly is brake failure I would hope their diagnostic process would be more thorough. I was disappointed they could not offer an apology or any kind of compensation for the danger, inconvenience, or extra expenses caused by the incomplete repair in July. Instead, I was told it was 'not uncommon' for this to happen, and that because I took my van to another mechanic it washed their hands of any liability. If it is not uncommon for customers to need a complete redo of a $600 service 2 months later then the shop is doing poor work, and I had to take my van to a different mechanic the second time because I didn't have any confidence AAA would fix the issue properly or quickly after my experience in July. Two stars because the shop is clean and conveniently located, and they do offer a variety of services on a variety of vehicles. However, the speed and quality of the service is very inconsistent and when they mess up, you pay for it with your time, money, or both.

Wonderful experience with AAA Car Care. My new Tesla needed a tire rotation. Richmond Tesla is an hour away. AAA was faster than expected and able to do the work. They indicated they can replace the tires when the time comes and align the tires if needed. I did provide the lifting pucks and they were returned.

Quick service, friendly staff, works with you. Only knock was the price of parts. I could've gone to the shop next door (which is where they got it from), gotten the same part from the same vendor for 60% of the price I was charged. Update: got a state inspection at this location and they failed me for issues that mechanics at 2 other locations inspected and confirmed did not need fixing. They also missed 2 other issues that WERE caught by other mechanics (one was a light that was out).

I needed a set of new tires. AAA was able to special order the tires I needed overnight and had them installed the next day. Not only that but they had a deal that saved me $151 for a set of four tires compared to the same tires anywhere on the internet. The people there are professionals.

I was called and told my truck was ready. When I arrived to pick up my truck the 30,000 mile inspection that I brought it in for was not done because the desk person had written the ticket up wrong. I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for them to finish. I have always had excellent service here and I have no problem this time except the people at the front desk refused to acknowledge their mistake and one person implied that it was somehow my fault. When I finally picked up my key and said I was not happy the guy at the desk did say he was sorry I felt that way. The problem originated when the check in person, who did make a copy of the 30,000 mile inspection sheet did not attach it to the ticket and had not written 30,000 mile checkup on the ticket, only transfer case oil change, which is part of the inspection.

The hood of my car was stuck couldn't get my oil changed, then before I could get time to take it to them my battery died (I swear it's true I can't make this stuff up) so now I had to call AAA to tow me there. They were super helpful and they got the hood unstuck without damaging my vehicle and got my oil change and a new battery for a reasonable price!

After having my 14 yr. old car state inspected and rejected by another auto repair shop, which will go unnamed, for a faulty rear stop light, no less, which took them 4 hours of my time and a whole lot of my bucks to "diagnose", I actually went home, and in less than 5 minutes on the internet, found my problem described along with a video of the solution. So, thinking the dealer of my make of auto would likely come to my rescue, I proceeded there to be quickly advised that my repair was likely to be about $800 or more (lots and lots of labor, you see). While trying to decide if I should just take my wreck straight to the car-crusher, it came to me, that AAA Care Center had given me good service on a number of previous occasions, so I should try there. Well, continuing with a 'long story long', I cannot believe the difference. Chris and Duane at the Service Desk, couldn't have been more accommodating - understanding my dilemma; ordering the parts; getting the "diagnosis" and repairs done, along with further inspection. And all at a remarkably reasonable price and in by 10 out by 2, with a clean bill of health, except for some recommendations of some further work that I probably should have done before. I can't say enough good things about AAA and especially their people. Chris, Duane and I know there are a ton more back in the auto bays, who are the most professional and caring individuals. They really do treat customers as neighbors. They're the best.

I have taken my cars here for years and never had a problem, but I recently ran into one. To my disappointment, they did not seem interested in fixing it. I do all the maintenance on both my cars, but I would take them to AAA to get inspected. They often fail which is not an issue with me. I do not claim to be a master mechanic and everything that has failed on my cars has been valid stuff. The issue that I had was that I took my old LeBaron there and it failed for reasons that were actually valid. It is getting up there in age and mileage for a daily driver, so things do wear on it every so often. I took it home and my brother and I fixed the issues that they listed and decided to change the oil and rotate the tires because it had just surpassed 3,000 miles since either had been done. When I got to one wheel that the inspection sheet said that they checked, I could not get three of the lug nuts off it. I thought it was interesting that it just so happened to be one of the wheels that they checked. No such thing has ever happened to me and it is not as if it went years without having that tire removed. It gets removed roughly every 3,000 miles. My air-powered impact wrench (though old and worn) could not even touch it and my brother, who weighs about 160 pounds, was able to stand and bounce on a breaker bar and it did not move. Also, every time I tighten it, it is done with a 1-foot breaker bar by hand. Unless I ate some spinach before I tightened that one wheel, there is no way I produced that much strength. It seems like something that was tightened with a commercial impact wrench like the one that would be found at AAA. I am guessing that the two looser ones, which were across from each other, were the first to be tightened assuming they used a typical "star" pattern. Unfortunately, when I said something and asked if they would loosen it for the reinspection, the guys in the back claimed that they did not remove the wheel and that they just looked through and around the rim. They were happy to have me pay for them to remove it, though. Keep in mind that it has steel rims with hubcaps, not aluminum rims. If the car is jacked, especially with a good air wrench, it would have been so easy to pop the wheel off it and do a thorough inspection of the brakes. As of now, a month or so later, I have yet to try to loosen it. I can get it off there, but I would have been happy if somebody in the back just fessed up and fixed it. They would have kept me as a customer. It is disappointing because mostly everybody there is friendly and I have never had a problem, but it only takes one incident like that to lose a customer.

Chris and his guys are some of the best in town. I have no worries bringing my car to AAA for anything I need done. They shoot me straight every time and I don't ever have to worry about feeling like I'm being "sold". Not knowing a lot about cars can be intimidating when in a shop, but they go to great lengths to make me feel comfortable by explaining what my car needs and, most importantly, why it needs it. Well done guys!

Already being a member with AAA for many years I was able to get my car towed to their car care facility for free. I found out I needed a new transmission and they were able to get me a great deal on one and have it ready for me within 4 days. They were very courteous and respectful. If I lived closer I would continue having vehicle maintenance done by them.

They bug me for years to become a member. They don’t give up. I needed an international drivers permit to drive in Europe. Trying to talk to anyone on the telephone for information didn’t happen but at their location I was enthusiastically greeted. Excellent service with fast results. Nice and clean environment.

My car was towed here last night after my battery died. They contacted me first thing this morning to see what I wanted done. I got my estimate in a timely fashion and had my car ready just after lunch with none trying to sell me a thing I didn't need! As a female, that is always refreshing. The staff was nice, and the building was clean and comfortable if you need to wait for your car.

All I can say is AAA Membership has its Privileges. This facility and the Auto Repair staff are outstanding. I service 4 vehicles through them and have had great experiences every time. I am very particular in what and how I service our vehicles and the staff is always able to accommodate. Mike at the front counter is always thorough and explains thing well. So if you are not a AAA Member you are missing out. Free State Inspections, always a deal on batteries and discounts on labor and parts. I am SOLD.

Mike is awesome and will take great care of you. I never feel like they take advantage. If you are a AAA member, you get a discount for service done to your car. Wednesday's are ladies discount days, but warning, it's very busy, so drop off your car or be prepared to wait!

Excellent service including the staff making the effort to get me through in time for my next appointment. The very courteous staff person even used his own personal car to pick me up at work (the shuttle service truck was being used elsewhere). So I made my nest appointment in time. Many thanks to AAA service

I have been a AAA member for decades and I have been using the Williamsburg Car Care Center since it opened. I know the manager and service writers very well. They never fail to give our family courteous service and to provide honest assessments of our vehicles (both with >200K miles). Chris and Mike go above and beyond. Their prices are competitive esp when compared with dealer rates. Call for appointments and avoid peak hours.can be very busy.

The AAA Williamsburg Car Service Center staff are very responsive, friendly, respectful and thorough. They welcome me by name each visit. On Apr 6, 2016 they serviced both of our cars in the same afternoon much to my satisfaction. Mike and his colleagues are great listeners who sincerely care about high customer service standards. I highly recommend them.
