I’ve been to this AutoZone location multiple times, and overall it’s a solid and reliable place for auto needs. The store is clean, and organized which makes the experience comfortable. It’s well stocked and convenient when you need parts, fluids, or quick car essentials. The staff are always willing to help and are generally knowledgeable, and friendly, especially when you ask questions or need assistance finding the right part. For me the service is always smooth and efficient. They’re also helpful with things like battery checks and part lookups. Overall, this is a dependable location with helpful staff, and I’d definitely recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sometimes it is according to which auto zone you visit ... but on. Rockaway.. blvd/van wyck expressway. I'm favourite.. always get well received There ..

Asked them on the call if they have a specific kind of jump starter kit.. was told "yes we have it". Drove to the store to find out that they dont. Thats disappointing

Wonderful service. The gentleman in the front desk checked everything out for a check engine light on for free and helped me understand everything. Highly recommend this place.

Polite, but not helpful. They mistakenly odered the wrong part for me twice then had no intention of finding or ordering the correct part even though we see it on the screen. I got the correct part from Advanced Auto down the street the first time.

I came into the Valley Stream AutoZone today to make a quick return, but the store was very busy. There were a lot of customers in the store, almost to the door, and to my surprise, there was only one person handling everything. That one person was the manager, George, and he was outstanding. Despite the crowd and a few understandably frustrated customers, George stayed calm, professional, and genuinely kind. He let everyone know he was the only staff member on duty and sincerely apologized for the wait. You could tell he was doing everything he could to keep things moving while also answering phones, handling the register, and helping people individually. Even though I was just there for a return, the way George managed the whole situation left a lasting impression. He never lost his cool, treated everyone with respect, and somehow made the experience feel personal and positive, even under pressure. Valley Stream AutoZone is lucky to have a manager like George.

I stopped into AutoZone around lunch today because I had a few warning lights on my dash. The store was very busy, about six people ahead of me and more coming in, but it turned out there was only one employee working the register. That employee was the manager, George. Despite the pressure, George was calm, polite, and incredibly professional. Some customers were getting impatient and a bit loud, but George handled it like a pro, he explained the situation, apologized sincerely, and did his best to help everyone quickly and kindly. He kept things moving, stayed personable, and somehow managed the register, phones, and customer questions all on his own. I truly appreciated how he deescalated the situation and stayed positive. You could tell he genuinely cared. I honestly felt bad that he was left alone in such a hectic situation, but he handled it with grace. George showed an outstanding level of customer service today, and I’d gladly come back just to work with him again. AutoZone is lucky to have someone like him running the show!

Rashad was very helpful, quick and efficient. He answered all my questions and was very friendly and welcoming.

I will say the worker that helped me was nice and respectful. But i Got a battery installed here and it wasn’t put in correctly. I had a mechanic check it out just to make sure it was good & it wasn’t. It wasn’t installed correctly.

I can't express enough gratitude for the outstanding service I received from store manager George. It was just five minutes before closing, and the weather was freezing when I found myself in a tough spot; my car was stuck, and I needed a battery replacement. Despite being moments away from ending his shift, George didn’t hesitate for a second. With kindness and professionalism, he replaced my battery and got me back on the road. His willingness to help, even at the last minute, speaks volumes about his dedication and exceptional customer service. I truly appreciate his kindness and expertise. Thank you, George!

Great customer service from George the manager. He knows exactly what he’s doing and even assisted in helping me pick the right item for my Honda Civic. I’ll be be telling all my friends that need vehicle assistance to visit that store.

I stop by AutoZone to purchase engine oil for my vehicle. The location is convenient. Inside the store is orderly. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I found a good deal for my purchase. Signed up for a free AutoZone reward account. There is on-site parking.

Poor customer service skills. Left this location and drove to Advance Auto Zone a few blocks down, what a breath of fresh air! The assistance I received was impeccable. Like night and day!

I had a disappointing experience at AutoZone. The employees seemed more interested in chatting with each other and making jokes than assisting customers. When I approached the young man at the counter for help, he initially dismissed my request by saying, ‘that’s not in our catalog,’ without even attempting to look it up. I had to explain that during my last visit, they were able to find it in the system before he finally agreed to help. After providing him with my car’s year, make, and model, all I was given was a piece of paper with no instructions on what to do next. To make matters worse, the employee who ‘helped’ me disappeared within minutes. This kind of service is really frustrating and not what I expected.

Seth was extremely helpful in the process of both buying and help changing the bulb in my headlight! He was extremely polite and I’m very satisfied with the service I received through him today! Without his assistance I wouldn’t have been able to get back on the road!

Closing hours are 9pm and store doors were locked at 8:15 with workers hanging out inside.

Still has that new car smell even from the parking lot. Meticulously organized and easy to find what I was looking for. Nowadays, I'm used to not seeing any reps on the floor to assist, and I'm a car guy, so I mostly know what I'm looking for before I walk in. That said, the 2 or 3 people that were working were all engaged with helping someone, and they seemed to be handling everything well. It wasn't busy so I was able to get in and out quickly, but did manage to have a quick conversation about riding motorcycles with 2 of the guys that work there. All in all, great AutoZ experience.

This Company should be very careful on how their staff is conducting business when they aren’t looking . This store showed me and my husband bare minimum of customer service . Not only was there no customer service All of your pricing is wrong, everything is priced wrong in the steering wheel covers section and the antennas area. With (3) gentlemen just chilling talking by the registers, you would think this would be something that could be fixed or worked on Joshua our cashier was more into his conversation then to converse with his customers and add on to his sale . We were looking to purchase more and get more info as well .
