I can't say enough good things about this shop. If you want your classic Corvette repaired/restored the correct way , this is the only shop you need. I brought my 1973 Corvette to them and they repaired the rot in the chasis, rebuilt the entire front and rear suspension. Repaired the engine and then completely detailed the engine and engine compartment. I am fairly local and the owner Kevin Mackay couldn't have been nicer. He encouraged me to stop by as often as I like to see the progress and call him any time for updates. My 73 runs, drives, and looks like it just rolled out of the factory. Thank you to Kevin and his staff they are outstanding.

Thanks again to Kevin Mckay and his seasoned colleagues who are doubtless masters at what they do. Most importantly they carry the flag for doing business honestly and at fair prices and more, they'll defend you. My experience was not unique as Kevin told me the car I had recently bought should never had been sold in its present condition( frame rot poorly hidden ) as well as many other issues involving vehicle safely Kevin was direct , I was ripped off - but instead of saying sorry bad luck for you , he told me to get a refund and with his expertise he helped me get a full refund from the out-of-state dealer involved who did act honorably. Kevin transformed my 72 LT1, working brilliantly on steering, brakes, transmission, and all the miscellaneous that make a true difference. Big Wow! factor.

The work that Corvette Repair does, and the level of detail in their restorations is amazing. Was lucky enough to see one of my favorite magazine cars as a kid, the XP819, at Amelia Island this year, and spent an hour examining this car that Corvette Repair restored. Fantastic! I look forward to going every year and seeing the level of authenticity this shop returns to these milestone Corvettes.
Corvette Repair did a full restoration on my '67. Body, new motor, from front to tail. I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on it. Kevin is great to work with, scary amount of knowledge on corvettes, and friendly as hell. To the below comments on cost-- you get what you pay for. You're paying for a shop that has deeper experience with early corvettes than any other shop I've worked with on the east coast. That comes at a premium.
We have a 1962 Fuelie that was in need of a tune-up and read about Corvette Repair's expertise. Kevin and Billy did a stand up job and she runs as smooth as glass now.
To Mr. Dagro, Corvette Repair, Inc. has the best reputation in the business, and didn't get it from being where they are today from comments like yours. It sounds to me that you or someone else over revved the car caused a bent valve or messed up the timing chain…..I am sure the car left the shop running great and you wanted Corvette Repair to fix it for nothing and now you are peeode, get over it.
Avoid this place at all cost!!! Brought my '73 in for a horn problem. $2500 later I got my car back. Car ran good for less than 1 hour. Brought the car back to them and they told me I have a bent valve they claim happened in 30 minutes after the car left their shop! To add insult to injury, they wanted to charge me to figure this out! Took the car to another mechanic who told me the valve was bent but something being dropped into carb or plug opening. Cars needs a $1500 engine repair due to Corvette Repairs. Stay away from these guys!!!
