I needed my AC looked at because it was malfunctioning.
And after all the nice reviews online, I took it upon myself to trust the reviews and visit One Stop Auto Sales with trust. After arriving on location, I spent about 8-10minutes on location before requesting for the work to immediately be stopped; way before service began. I was immediately turned off by the attitude of the owner. Something about his attitude felt off.
I was greeted with a smile and happy face. I felt welcomed! The owner from the finance office attempted to identify the issue and asked me a couple questions. The owner agreed to conduct a diagnostic (which was totally understandable - I wanted to pay. Nothing is free). Upon driving my vehicle into the shop, the owner walked away and had his workers begin diagnostic. I walked into the office to inquire about the cost of the diagnostic and was immediately presented with an attitude. "Diagnostic will be $90 per hour, not matter how long it takes them and the work could be anywhere between $300 and $400 + the cost of diagnostics" said the owner. Immediately, something felt off about this. I was hoping I wasn't being taken advantage of, and so I stood my grounds and asked for the work to stop. I immediately alerted the owner, "I want to compare quotes with other shops." But deep down in my gut, something didn't feel right.
I work in broadcasting with NBCUniversal. And so I immediately called a producer (friend) who covers local markets including car dealerships for advice, and I was advised to leave immediately because something was not right. I trusted the second thought and left.
I went to a competing local business down the street and the owner of that location advised me on the following, "No one should immediately rush to fix the AC inside your Honda pilot because Honda currently have an open recall for this very issue." I was advised to contact Honda to see if my vehicle qualifies. After contacting Honda, I'm now scheduled for service.
The reason I opt'd to post my comment on my experience is because I really wanted to support this local business but it felt like I was slightly being taken on a journey trip if I had not asked questions. The business has been around for a long time and even worked on another vehicle in my household for another family member. Therefore, going into the location today, I trusted service would be genuine. As soon as the owner walked away and I inquired about the cost of diagnostic, I was met with a straight-forward attitude and the blurting out of random numbers.
I'm conflicted. I'm not sure I want to return for future business. I'm an honest, hard-working, young adult, who works in broadcast media in need of help with my vehicle, and the treatment was slightly weird. But I always ask questions. I need to know what's going on with my vehicle because nothing is free. Money in one hand. Receipt in the other.
I understand how easy it is for people to get get ripped off. But with all the high reviews, I never expected this business owner to try and rip another professional off. I was very comfortable with my decision to request for work to be stopped immediately.
To all those out there, please be careful. Ask questions. And make sure you're receiving honest service. There are honest business owners out there that are highly capable of doing a trustworthy job. Please don't be afraid to ask questions. And if an owner is giving you an attitude because you're asking the right questions, that's an immediate red flag.
I want small businesses to strive and I will gladly pay for a service and continue to support local businesses. But the moment an owner gives me the feeling of, "You're getting ripped off" and presenting an attitude because someone inquired on the cost of a service before it begins, that's an immediate red-flag.

The worst place to take your car to get it checked, they are bad people, they want to charge you up to the last minute to do a simple inspection, they lie to you, they tell you that there is something wrong with the vehicle and it is a lie, the city should check it.
I had a flat and happened to be driving bye and stopped at one shop for assistance.the owner and his staff were very helpful and willing to assist…what warmed my heart more was they serviced my tire free of charge. I highly recommend one stop auto sales, they’re an awesome establishment.
Always friendly and simply the best around. I’ve had a blower motor, brakes, differential, exhaust and probably some other work done by them so far. They work on all of my family’s cars now.
Jobs are done quickly and effectively, never had to return for the same thing, never had any issues. They keep my two rust buckets on the road without recommending a whole new car or very expensive repairs. Advice given is extremely valuable, welding skills impeccable!
All pricing is extremely fair, never once have I felt ripped off. It is incentivized to pay cash, stop by the bank before you head on down for your next repair.

Absolute worst place to take your car - please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. Customer service non-existent and they try to get every cent from you. This guy failed my inspection, saying I need new tires. I have a 2022 Benz with less than 20k miles on it, tires are in great condition, yet he decided to fail the vehicle.

SCAM!!! The owner is a scammer, took 32 days to repair my car 2017 Benz who I never authorized to work on my car but was taken to his shop by certified luxury dealers valley stream then complained that warranty did not cover parts and I paid an additional $2600. for him to say he was not guaranteeing his work because it was more money. It was a horrible experience and he was very rude and disrespectful. Same day we drove the car home the transmission light came on..

Scam!! Terrible shop. Tried to scam me by loosening my tire rods so my inspection fails and then tried to sell me $500 worth of repairs. Took my car to the next shop and inspection passed in 2 min!
They brought my Malibu back to life. The family mechanic started the job and made it worst had to be towed to One stop Auto, it was pricey but it was worth it . The team there was friendly, professional and thorough , and explained all the work done . They won my business.

The day i drove in they were able to take the car and start that evening on a Wednesday and returned the car promptly on Friday afternoon. They have a body guy who did an excellent job on my new bumper. The brakes are as quiet as a kitten now. My door handle was basically a rubber band being that all the plastic had broken apart inside. I was presented with a brand new car basically. They are knowledgeable and trustworthy. I didn't feel like they pulled a number out the sky to take advantage of a female. Profesional, courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you so much for taking excellent care of my baby.
This auto shop is a complete rip off they had me in there shop for almost two hours (diagnosing) my car and they eventually came to the conclusion of what part i needed the part was ($625). Abrahim supposedly ordered the part and when I asked him he said the part will be in by the next day and my car will be fixed that same day. Next thing come to find out he never ordered the part because when i called honda of Valley Stream Parts department they never received an order from One Stop Auto however they are familiar with the shop. So I called back and the owner became very defensive as to where the part was ordered and that he cannot disclose where they ordered it from. The owner was quick to offer a refund once he knew that i called Honda of Valley Stream and asked if the part was ever ordered. I called out of work for two days because i need a car for my job. They wasted my time and tried to rob me out of my($625) that they never used to order the part. I will never recommend. THEY WILL TRY TO ACT LIKE THEYRE NICE PEOPLE BUT THEY REALLY JUST WANT TO JIP YOU.
The owner and staff at One Stop Auto are very knowledgeable. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem with my suburban and fix it in a timely manner. My final bill reflected the price that was quoted to me for which I was very happy. I will definitely use this shop again for future repairs.

Jercy at one stop auto is extremely professional and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to cars. He was more than happy to help me out. He pointed out things that were wrong with my car that I had a feeling something was wrong and gave me really fair prices. I am more than satisfied and I would recommend this place to anyone with car issues.
UPDATED REVIEW: I went to another mechanic to get my AC fixed and it turns out that they had disconnected the compressor’s sensor when I went to fill my AC. Please avoid this shop at all costs. It has only bad reviews for a reason. It’s real sad to know how badly they wanted to rip me off ($600). Sad shop.
Terrible service, terrible attitude by the manager. I got ripped off when I went to get my AC filled up. They didn’t check for leakages the first time around since the process took only 20 minutes. When I went back to see what was wrong with the AC (hot air was blowing up) they took over an hour “looking” for a leakage that they had said was checked for the first time I was there (which was untrue since it clearly takes over an hour to do so, not 20 mins). Then, they planned on charging me again for not doing their job right in the first place. I was mistreated and assaulted in front of other customers when I clearly complained about their work. I wouldn’t be surprised if any more issues come up with my car, as it is not news (according to other reviews) that they tend to purposely damage cars they’re working on.
Do not go get your car damaged, for poor work quality and more money.
Definitely go there for all your repair needs. They're very thorough and the prices may not be extremely cheap but you get what you pay for. Excellent service.
I used this shop for a major engine replacement on a Mitsubishi gsx and they did a fine and timely job. Its been a year since that work was done and I have had no issues when it comes to the work they did. The car continues to run nicely and I have kept up with all the general maintenance it requires. I also use the shop for any minor issue I may not feel like doing on my own or the annual inspections and that also goes smoothly. The staff is friendly and everyone is knowledgeable at doing their job while being courteous. The pricing is fair and honest and all parts and labor are verified on receipt.
My wife & I have been taking our cars to Merrick Road Gulf (MRG) Station since 1983. We had about six different cars during that time and all of them were service by MRG. What really sold me on using MRG was the time I took my car to Marin and I told him what was wrong with the car which would have cost me more than $500. But Marin showed me the real problem which only cost me $44. It’s been 20 years now and I’m taking my car to Mr. Marin this morning. I always recommend MRG to anyone who asked me for a good car mechanic. Also, anybody that that works there is Topnotch. MRG has one of the top mechanics in the New York area. His name is Owen.
