The female manager at the 2 Jericho Turnpike store #8585 has a chip on her shoulder. I never had an issue bringing recycle motor oil there I even empty it out myself because I want to take back the 5 gallon pail now she states she only allow 2 gallons so I reported her to the corporate office not sure what good that’s gonna do, but in any case, I voiced my opinion, the Mineola location didn’t have a issue I called them and they said they allow 5 gallons per day

I found what I needed quickly and without any hassle, with courteous service.

I needed to replace my optima I got from them from 20, and was on the replacement. So got a die hard after they charged the optima. They were friendly and helpful.

This autozone garbage im wait inside 20,25 minutes but front disk empty and not response and all employees other side conversations each other and on the phone after 25 minutes said me I have no oil it’s shit next time im not coming here

This was my 2nd visit to Advanced Auto this week. I went the beginning of the week & the assistance I received was not much. He was not as helpful. I needed a windshield wiper. I decided to give it another shot. So I went in today not only did Stacey supply me with knowledge she even put it on for me & told me I only needed 1 n not 2. I was very content with her customer service from beginning to end!

Only auto parts store I go to. Very helpful staff. Fully stocked. Will check your battery at no charge. I can't say enough about a specially my store in Baldwin although all of the Advance Auto stores are fantastic

Came here because I needed an engine air filter for my car. While the help was quick and painless I was also lied to. I asked the older guy who helped me if I could get some help in replacing the filter and was told “no they don’t work on cars”. I left and did it myself and I sat in my ready to leave and the same guy who refused to help me walks out the store to work on some one else car. Won’t be coming back here.

I arrived 2 hours before closing and the gentleman at the counter refused to replace my battery because it was cold outside. So does the staff not assist clients during the winter?

I had a great experience at Advance Auto Parts in Valley Stream. I suspected my alternator was bad, but I wasn't completely sure. I came to this location for an alternator test and was assisted by Wayne. He was extremely helpful and efficient, quickly confirming that the alternator was indeed faulty. After the diagnosis, I made an online order right away for pickup, and Wayne had the new alternator ready for me within five minutes. I highly recommend this location for their excellent service and knowledgeable staff, especially Wayne.

Usually shop online and pick up here.. Decided to just go to the store today and quickly pick up what I need. Arrived at 7:30 when the store should be opening. It was closed. An employee arrived and walked in at 7:37. Me and another customer waited about 5 mins and then decided to go inside. Store was still locked. I called the store, person answered and said he was waiting for another employee to arrive. I left, went down the street to Autozone for my needs. Thanks for wasting my time this morning.

Stacey, the on duty Manager was very helpful! I was in a jam with a dead battery and she was able to warranty the battery without a receipt based on my word. We need more customer service like this in the world. Thanks you again!

That store manager is so rude. People should be able to shop without him creeping around, and him telling people not to comeback when they have a warranty. I don’t know whose father he thinks he is but last time I checked none of the adults that shop here (at least 99% I assume) are his children. Watch your mouth sir.

Sorry I don't have photos as it is a parts store and this is a quick and focused shopping. First, this would be three stars but the experience is different every time. I process many online orders to this location and on a few occasions (starting to be many), an order is canceled or the order is marked for pick up and it is not there when I arrive. A few other times the product can not be found in the store even when their computer states it's in stock. As an Elite member with over 20 visits just this month, you need to do better. At times I would have to travel to farther locations to acquire the items needed. The other issue I have (corporate level)is when you use you bucks on a product or products and your order(s) are cancelled, you loose the bucks or when majority of your product is cancelled and say you spent $12 and used a $10 store credit and $10 is cancelled, you loose the $10 then you only spend $2. Okay, I will drop the rating to a 3 star now. The store is clean. The parking lot can be better as there is trash all zover that I would have to be selective with your parking.

I went in to pick up a part that I had ordered the day before. When I realized it didn't fit I went back in and the staff helped me get the right part that I needed right then and there. They were super friendly and I would gladly go back for any of my automotive needs.

I came to this store with my girlfriend. They were extremely helpful, nice and made sure we had a 10/10 shopping experience. Not only that, they assisted me with properly assembling and provided directions to implementation for the products I purchased. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!

Do not shop at this store if you are female. They are very rude. My daughter went in to buy wiper blades, knew exactly what she wanted, and was treated very poorly. The store worker refused to install the wiper blades, and the second worker who installed the wiper blades gave her a very hard time. Our family, who has regularly shopped at the store, will never shop there again.

This place is frustrating!! I shop here for most of my auto part. Order online and pickup is a complete waste of time other than coupons. Orders are never ready and have to be picked on arrival. When you arrive if there isn't a person on line already you have no clue where to go. I waited by one register only for people to start lining up at another and the person who finally arrived started to take them and didn't acknowledge when I ask where is the correct line.

Disappointed. Been coming here for a few years. Went for the oil change bundle for $25.99. Rings up for $40.00. When I ask, kid says it because it's not the right filter. When I tell him he doesn't have the proper one he says well I can return it. Not good customer service at all.

absolutely horrible service. they took almost 3 hours to install my battery. plus, this battery had a replacement guarantee of 3 years, but it ran out in 3 months. when i returned to the store to get it replaced, they refused to replace the battery for me. i had to call corporate and make tons of complaints to even be acknowledged by the store. this is a decent company, but this store is abysmal in every way imaginable. please dont go here. there are local shops that provide better, cheaper, and faster service

I went here to exchange a battery. The associate told me I had to go the store I purchased it from because I had no receipt instead of calling the store for validation he told me to call. This is amd was very poor and subliminal customer service. Being the price of gas these days are so high,and it being an inconvenience, I'm glad I went to the other Burnside location. They have manners and better customer service. I won't go here again . Truly 😞 Disappointed.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately they’re always under staffed. Lines are too long and they only have one or 2 people at the registers. Takes almost 15 minutes to get out of the store when I’m only buying windshield fluid...When you call in for some information they place you on hold for over 8 minutes. Not the staff’s fault but it definitely falls on management and whoever is in charge of hiring and scheduling.

The people that work there are rude. Literally stood there for 20 minutes at the register waiting to check out with 1 quart of oil. 3 employees in the store. 2 of them were moving a pallet that was poorly stacked and almost tipped over on another customer and 1 employee was on his cell phone and instead of getting off of his personal call to ring me up, he went and hid in the back. I will never stop in this store even though it is much closer to my house than the other locations. . . Update to reply from owner.... I find it to be interesting that 4 months ago another customer made pretty much the same review/complaint I did and we both got the same generic answer and nothing has changed at this location. Maybe instead of posting the same generic reply to your customers you should really work on staff training and responsibility when they are working in your store.

Good, clean establishment, great counter service, great prices, above average quality parts for all makes and models, knowledgeable salespeople. Free diagnostics on all major systems, free installation of batteries, wiper blades, light bulbs, etc (upon purchase, of course ). If your looking for good service, decent, competitive prices, and good quality auto parts, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

The only good thing about this store is the parking and cheaper prices. Went here and they tried to overcharge me at the register. Scanned the same item 40 times by "accident". Almost got me in a daze until another customer whispered "that sounds like a lot". Then the associate begrudgingly "caught" the "mistake". Went from $89 to $27 very quickly. Could be just that one associate but I vowed never to shop there willingly

This is the best store to purchase items for your car. The representatives really know their stuff, especially Kendall. Anything that I needed to know, he directed me well to get them and he even help me find out if my battery was good or not. I feel secure in purchasing items and learning more about my car now.
