I thought they gave me a brand new car:).
During Christmas week I got into a small accident. I stopped at the stop sign and the person behind me did not:(
It looked like minor damage. I called Mercedes to see if they do body work and they recommended me to a collision place "they use". After reading their reviews, I knew I was NOT going there.
I did a search and found a Touch of Class Collision. I called, and the staff was friendly attentive and caring. The young man who drove me to the rental place was so friendly and professional as well.
Yesterday, 4 February, I finally picked up my car. It took a while but that was because the other insurance company took their time to get adjusters etc.
When I got there, Gabe came out to greet me, they pulled my Alpine white, 300C up and I was floored. It looked like a brand new car, like it had come out of the showroom. Gabe explained the work they did and that the impact was much more that it showed superficially. The inside was spotless, the trunk, glove compartment everything was just spotless and so clean. This morning my dad went to charge the battery and he said even the engine is spotless and so clean. The body is shiny and brand new looking and they also left a tube of paint just in case:).
I highly recommend A Touch of Class Collision. Gabe is super and the staff is amazing. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me and my "girl" (my car:).

Top notch customer service. I had a wonderful experience with my car repair. Everyone was very friendly, especially Denise. She made me feel more like a friend versus a customer. The owner Gabe was a pleasure to work with. My car came back better than new. Would absolutely do business with them again.
I apologize for taking so long to write this review, but I finally had a few extra minutes to do it. I had 2 separate accidents on each front fender. My 2017 Honda has only 30K miles but my wife insisted it’s too old to repair and not worth fixing. I obviously disagreed. I went to my local mechanic who said it’s too much for him to do. While I was there, a customer with a gorgeous 1969 Lincoln Continental told me to go to “TOUCH OF CLASS”. He said they’re honest and fair. So the estimate for both fenders was almost the same as other places wanted for one fender. At the end of the day, my car looks brand new. Hopefully I won’t need anymore body work but if I do, in the future I’m only going to Touch of Class.
I’ve been meaning to leave a review because it’s well deserved. I had a minor fender bender the first week of October, that left some dings and paint damage to my rear bumper. I initially was going to go through the In-network body shops provided by my insurance, but I checked the reviews and they were all horrible honestly. I had the option to go out of network and find my own shop, and that’s exactly what I did. I looked for shops in my local area and I came across Touch of Class. I saw nothing but positive reviews which gave me the confidence to make them my shop of choice. A decision that I’m glad I made! Gabe and the ladies at the front were all friendly and did their best to make sure I was well taken care of. They have two sweet dogs that just add a touch of home, being a dog owner myself. When I dropped my car off they provided me a shuttle to Enterprise to pick up my rental as well. I really appreciated that! When I came to pick my car up, while speaking to Gabe he made it clear he’s not about Insurance’s satisfaction, but instead his customers. He’s not in the game of cutting corners to appease Insurance carriers, but instead providing OEM quality and repairs his customers are expecting and deserve. I appreciated his conviction in running his business to a higher standard. When my car was rolled out, he let me know he also had it detailed inside and out! She looked amazing! Small details I noticed the day after because I picked my car up on a torrential down pour. I had some scuffs on my roof that he had buffed out. I also had some rock chips on the front hood and my passenger door that he had filled in for me as well!!! That was freaking awesome man!! He did not have to do that, but he did anyway. Oh yea I also had a loose side skirt that I asked if he could fix, and he had it re-attached for me at no charge!! My bumper was paint matched perfectly, my bumper lower valance spoiler replaced new OEM. I was completely happy and satisfied with the work done at Touch Of Class, Gabe and his team go above and beyond!! If you’re dealing with a repair and you live in the NY area, I don’t care where you live, bring your car down to Touch of Class. Don’t let distance be an issue, at the end of the day you want your car coming back in prestine condition. Especially if your going to be without your car for an extended period, the last thing you want is to receive it back with flaws and imperfections. 5 Stars all the way!! This is a great place for any collision work. I’ve been here three times and always had an easy, straightforward, honest experience. The work has been excellent and the communication is as well. Highly recommend Gabe and this shop.
Gabe is the best! He is honest and reliable and truly cares about getting the job done right. He really goes the extra mile. The office team, Kari and Denise, are very friendly and welcoming. As an added bonus, there are two adorable golden doodles that keep you company if you are waiting. Highly recommend for quality service and overall experience!
I chose this shop because of its great reputation and now I know why. All the work was done to a very high standard. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The cost was fair and within the written estimate I received. Gabe was able to save me considerable expense by repairing nearly all the damaged body parts instead of just replacing them. The shop is a short distance from the Valley Stream LIRR station. It’s worth the trip from anywhere in NYC and Long Island.
The repairs done at"A Touch of Class" on my new 2024, Toyota Rav4 which had been in an accident were just perfect. I was supposed to pay $3,300 dollars for a repair. My insurance agent sent me to this place. I'm glad he did. The repair shop did it for less than $500, and they shampoo cleaned my car as a compliment. They are great!

I have used Touch of Class in the past for lease return touch ups. Today I took my newest lease in for an estimate. Gabe, the owner, not only offered to do an affordable touch up, but he even educated me on todays lease return options, something that was above and beyond the scope of what I was going to see him for. I had minor front end damage to my 2019 Toyota 4Runner. I keep this vehicle pretty pristine and am very picky about anything done with it. Everyone I dealt with at Touch of Class was professional and very friendly (including their dogs!). The repair was done on time and is perfect. Paint match and work done are flawless. Touch of Class recently did body work on my 2019 Toyota Camry and I must say that they truly live up to their name. Gabe, Dominic and crew did an excellent job. (They also were kind enough to give me a lift to the car rental agency when I dropped off the car.) Not only was the repair done perfectly, but they did a total clean-up of my entire car ( inside and out) which I did not expect! I'm a private teacher, so there were plenty of books and folders in the car as well as other stuff which I didn't think would be in their way. They had carefully placed everything in a box and bag so they could do their clean-up. I felt like i was picking up a brand new car from a dealer! I would highly recommend them!
I got into a little accident and wanted to take care of the repair without my husband-which doesn’t usually go well for women. Too many times in my life I have been treated poorly at auto shops and when it comes to anything related to cars. This shop was so easy to work with, and there was no funny business with the repairs. They communicated with my insurance co for me and gave me a ride to my rental car. I would recommend their services to anyone.
Excellent customer service from beginning to end. I dropped off my car and had a courtesy shuttle back to my home. My Honda was back to it's original state, like brand new, clean inside and out and repaired in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. I left there one very satisfied customer. The name speaks for itself...."Touch of Class" or should it be "First Class" :) Thank you guys for a job WELL DONE!
I would have never thought visiting an Auto body shop would be an enjoyable experience. Touch of Class makes an unpleasant experience a good once. Service is great, I had a challenge with the rental car, and they stepped in and resolved it for me. When you get your car back they detail it for you which makes it even better to see your car looking and smelling like brand spanking new!
