Had special ordered a tool and had it shipped to store for pick up . It took a week longer to be delivered than what was originally told when ordered , but it finally made it . While at the store , waiting for the employees to locate the order , walked around looking for any kind of good prices , but couldn't find any . The employees were very polite , but kind of scatter brained . They did finally locate the order .

They send you emails of sale items that they don't have. Then they tell you to order them. After you order and pay cash, they will wait and cancel your order, saying it is not in stock. The item was around 45 dollars. They told me that they didn't have enough cash in the draw to refund me and I would have to wait for corporate to send me a check. Called regional manager to complain and never got a response from him. So, here i am without my item or my cash. (Update) Regional manager called and apologized and said it should have never happened and the store had my cash in hand. So after 3 trips to the store I finally got a refund. You could tell the manager was not happy. After giving me my money, she said I would be getting a check that would be no good to cash and to tear it up and through it away. I'm sorry, who are you to tell me what to do with my mail at my house? This is the problem with people anymore. They think you have to do what they tell you. That whole store needs a whole new crew.

Went in to pick up a couple things for a project and was greeted with a heatwave inside the store. It made for an unpleasant trip. Fix your a/c.

I’ve previously left a 5 star review for this store, but not today! The air conditioning is out and it feels like an oven. It was absolutely miserable for me as a shopper. I left within 10 minutes, and went elsewhere for my items, because it was so hot. I can not imagine how anyone could work in there for an entire shift. Seems like a labor law violation.

I went in there this week and the air-conditioning was out .It got so hot in there I just had to walk out. I can’t imagine being an employee working all day in that heat.

Stopped by the store yesterday to look for ladder safety equipment but the only thing I found was a sweat box … no air in the building at all … no way I’d even answer a phone call in them conditions….

Wow! So where do I begin? Let's start by saying it was a heat index of 110° outside. And inside the store it wasnt any better! Ac must be out or something. I feel sorry for the employees having to work in these conditions.

For some reason. Your stor locator is wayyyy off. About 3 states. I'm in Minnesota and it pops up Arnold MO. I hope it's gets delivered here in Minnesota.

Ordered online, said pickup in 2 hours, then after paying it said delivery to store in 5 days. Went in to store, ask them to cancel order, employee said she would.Never happened, went to store to pickup , and asked to return items employee said they won’t take returns at store. If you enjoy being jerked around and lied to, this is the place to go, personally I would recommend shopping elsewhere. Update….. After speaking with customer service I do need to add that they were very helpful and tried to solve the problem. But the answer was to take the items back to the store for return, I will throw them away before going back into that store.

Unbelievable I ordered from Arnold, MO a lawnmower that was in stock. They said joining would help pay for shipping. Sounds great. Right? The problem is for the last 2 days shipping says expected tomorrow and then again tomorrow so I looked and it's being shipped from Arlington ,Texas . I ordered it from a store that's 30 minutes away and it was in stock. I do not want a lawn mower. That's all beat to hell from being shipped from Arlington, Texas, it makes absolutely no sense. I will be sending this back and I will no longer do business with northern tool as for their customer service worthless as well.

GREAT STORE TO SHOP AT. Very knowledgeable people working there. They can handle questions and solutions you might have not given consideration to at all. Very nice, polite and extremely well versed from simple to very difficult solutions. As to chain saws, STIHL Dealer, they know their stuff. Walk you through every DETAIL and make sure the saw, weed eater or blower fits your needs exactly. Want EXPERT ADVICE? Go to Northern Tool in Arnold.

Placed multiple online orders. Orders are split up. your charged for each item when it leaves the warehouse it's loaded on a truck and from that point on your at their mercy. It will take weeks or months to arrive. Then stores miss place or can't locate items when your their to pick up. I spent an hour on the phone and the only thing accomplished was to become completely aggravated and done with this company. There customer service is rude and horrible at best.

The products are good and the sale prices are good, but shipping is high. I don't want to drive all the way to Arnold to pick up at store. My time and gas, it doesn't pay for the $10.00 shipping for me to drive. Shipping cannot cost this much!

Tractor wouldn't even price match while being unsure. The employees here Northern Tool knew their stuff, they were awsome helped me with ever question friendly and even gave me Military Discount me being a Retired Disabled Combat veteran of OEF/OIF and my wife currently serving in the USAF. Will be back again. TYVM for all the help.

Went to get an stihl attachment with a coupon that said for Any Purchase. They would not do coupon and the cashier was rude when I said I did not want it then. I went handyman and they did sell the same attachment with a coupon no problem. I will not be going back to northern tool any time soon. They are a ripoff.

They certainly don't make it easy to do business with them. This store delivered to the wrong address, took a month to charge my credit card, item was damaged, and I had to stand in the store and call the company to get authorization to return the damaged item to the store that delivered the item to me. I was on hold, in the store, for 20 minutes to do this. It's like they're actively trying to make the purchasing process painful on purpose. As if they don't want me to buy things from them. When I asked the lady At the checkout if this was normal, she just stared at me. I'm not kidding. Just a blank stare, directly into my eyes. We were standing less than 10 ft apart! She didn't say anything. She didn't acknowledge that I had spoke. Just a blank stare. Seriously, it's like I was transported back in time to the beginning of the Internet this process was so convoluted. My experience was literally that painful. I can't imagine any scenario that would make me want to buy anything from them again when there are so many different options to buy the exact same items somewhere else. In the end, I was able to get my refund. But man, was it difficult.

Usually only one person at the check out but they will always help you load up vehicle, the facility is well maintained, clean, and well stocked. Prices a little high but the quality of the products make up for the difference. Worth it for me that's why I am a member now for several years.

Wish I could give no Stars! Have had nothing but issues with their repair Dept. I spend thousands a year with NT and the warranty repair work always seems to be an issue! just bought 2- $4,000.00 pressure washers and when received, one of them smoked really bad and was getting fuel into the oil. I sent to their repair facility in Arnold,mo within hours of receiving. They charged me over $100 for repairing it! they said it had water in the fuel tank and that they couldn't get it to smoke! Funny and BS! we work on small equipment at our facility and know how to repair but was utilizing NT since it was BRAND NEW! wish i could upload a video but heres a pic! water in the fuel doesn't make it do this! SMH. Disappointed...

They always have deals found these welding gloves for $2.25 and 6.75 a pair. You can't beat that and they are very well made.
