I went to change the oil in my car and they did not understand me well, I was treated badly here, no ballan here, no profession.

DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT take your vehicle here. I went to get my tires changed, and they broke one of the studs on my front driver side wheel and told me that they don’t do the repairs. Then, they kept the lug nut. Finally, after leaving there, I noticed all of my lug nuts on the “front driver side” were loose, and I had a few random lights turn on. They tried to pull a fast one on me because they didn’t think that I had the knowledge of my car, much less the state of my car before and after ‘service’. I now have to take my car to a better trusted auto body shop to fix the wheel and determine what other issues they caused for my vehicle. The worst part is that I never actually got the service done because they had broken the stud on the driver front. The negligence and carelessness that happened has left me flabbergasted.

Went there today to check on getting tires. At 11:00 am they told me they were all booked up. They didn't have my tire size. The female cashier and tech decided it was a good idea to make fun of me for not knowing my tire size by heart. The cashier was super rude, you can tell she hates her job. We have 3 cars and 2 trucks, so yeah I don't know the tire size for all our vehicles. I'm not the mechanic working in a shop. Sure I can go read the tire size off the tire like anyone can. Eventually all our vehicles will need tires and various services. Until they check themselves, none of the work will be done at Walmart in Arnold.

I went to their store for battery test. The battery didn't pass the test and they replaced it with brand new. It has still 2 months before the warranty expires. Chris was very helpful

My daughter and I were at Walmart shopping and my battery had died when trying to leave. My dad came up and was able to jump it but we decided to pull around back to see if the Auto Center was still open & could test my battery. Tyler was absolutely amazing! The shop was closed but he still happened to be there. (8pm 1 hour after close.) He tested my battery (it was bad), realized the only battery that would fit my car wasn’t scanned into their inventory, but went ahead and got ahold of his manager to get that handled so I could get my battery. He did all the necessary steps and then he uninstalled my old battery and put in the new one in less than 10 minutes. He was so kind and generous and didn’t need to lift a finger at all considering the time. I couldn’t thank you enough Tyler! You are an amazing asset and example to your team! Get this man a raise.

my sister and I had plans today and were told a 1 hour wait. Ended up being over 2 hours. And we are still waiting as I’m writing this review. We had plans today. All they needed to do was change a battery which takes 5 to 10 minutes. Terrible service and time recommendation. We won’t be coming back and I will strongly suggest anyone I know to not come here.

I had a 2:30 appointment and checked in at 2:40. I specifically asked if there would be any wait and was told that both the bay and the mechanic were available. Nearly two hours later, instead of a message saying my car was ready, I received one saying they had just started working on it. It seems appointments don’t carry much weight here, and there’s clearly a communication gap between the front desk and the mechanics. It took 2.5 hours.

Ask if a oil filter was the right one the guy got smart and ask if the book was hanging in area. I said yes but it was torn he wasn't very nice. Almost left 70 dollars of oil and filters an went to auto zone where you get respect.

After waiting one hour after I checked in for my appointment they tell me I had the wrong size tires, even though the app said they were the correct size. Then they told me they had the right size in stock for $49, but they charged me $59 each. Then I had to wait another hour and the man who rang me up was extremely rude.

Horrible customer service. You will be waiting all day whether you make an appointment or not. They also don't like to tighten things down, SERIOUS ISSUE. Just got two brand new tires, a day later one is flat, leaking from valve stem. Poor workmanship, poor everything. Don't waste your time or money!

usually don’t have any issues, this time around i took my car in to get 1 tire repaired.. the lady at the desk told me it was under warranty and when i came back to pick up my car i was told my total was over $100.

I recently visited the Arnold Walmart Automotive Center to have three tires replaced, and I wanted to share my experience to provide constructive feedback. While I understand that being short-staffed and busy can pose challenges, the customer service I encountered lacked professionalism, communication, and an overall appreciation for the customer experience. When I called ahead, I was informed that there would be a significant wait of 4 to 4.5 hours due to being behind schedule, which I understood given the weather conditions. Considering the state of my tires, I accepted the wait. After four hours, I checked in at the register and was told that my car would be next. I decided to sit in the waiting area in front of the cash registers. During this time, I received a phone call. After hanging up, I noticed that I had received a text at 5:35 PM stating that my car was ready, but it was already 6:50 PM. I walked over to the register to inform the staff member. I noticed my car key was already returned on the counter, yet none of the staff had informed me that my vehicle was ready. Even the employee who initially checked me in walked by several times without providing any updates. This lack of communication was disappointing; at any time, someone could have simply said, "Ma'am, your car is ready." While I acknowledge that I missed the text, a proactive approach from the staff could have significantly improved the experience. Implementing better in-person communication procedures could help avoid similar situations in the future. It's important for customers to feel valued and informed, especially during long waits. In total, I spent nearly seven hours at the center, and I left feeling frustrated, disregarded, and overlooked. I hope my feedback contributes to enhancing service for future customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

They are only good if you have an appointment other then that they could care less about doing any work. You can tell by the way they look behind the desk like I wish I was home not dealing with these people today. I’m serious go to jiffy if you want it faster. This is slow as a snail

I'd made an appointment, just didn't show up. Was having my wheels rotated and balanced along with new windshield wipers. I asked how long it would take, was told 'about 45 minutes'. . .and it was exactly that. The pricing was very good for everything.

I’ve always been weary about taking my car to any Walmart auto center for anything. But today, they changed my mind. This is the first time I’ve ever done it, and they exceeded my expectations. I needed tires on my car, bad. I had a slipped belt in the left front, which was causing a SEVERE wobble while driving. It was TERRIFYING to drive, especially in wet conditions. So I ordered my tires online for pickup, and then called to see if I could come in for a walk in install. They explained they were super busy, but COULD fit me in. It would just be a 2-3 hour wait. Luckily, I live close by, so I came in, dropped off my car, and got a ride home. These guys got it done in about 2 hours. It only took them about 30-40 mins once they took it back. All of them were super nice, helpful and understanding of my situation and why I was so worried about getting them replaced ASAP. I was even 1 minute past their closing time for my pick up, but I called them to let them know, and they waited for me! They were just amazing all around. And from what I can tell, they did an AWESOME job. My bf who’s a technician out at a dealership in redbud even said they look great. And he’s been a master tech for about 15 years now. I just didn’t want to drive far out and have to wait until Monday to get them out on. Lol. Awesome job guys! I’ll definitely be coming back to y’all!! ❤️❤️

We shop there at least once a week. The employees in the meat department are awesome. The parking lot and the store is always clean. There is always an officer sitting in the vehicle outside waiting to assist any knuckleheads.

Stopped in to have an oil change done. When we went back to pick up the vehicle that had a low tire we had just bought the tires from another location, not Walmart. I went inside and asked them about it. They immediately pulled it back in to check what the problem was. They were used tires that we bought and one had a plug in it already that was leaking. Walmart said they would fix it. No problem. No questions asked for free. I told them I would take it back and get a different tire from where I bought it

1 to 2 hour wait, is more like 3 to 4 hours... I went in at 9am and 11am the vehicle still has not been brought back. Asked about it and was told I'm next.... Apparently they take appointments over people sitting in their lobby for hours. I highly recommend getting an appointment or find another shop if you don't want to wait all day.

Decent experience at first when buying new tires,but after trying to switch my tires, i noticed they stripped one of the lug nuts to where i couldn't get it off the tire. I notified them after they messed up and asked them to fix it, yet they said they couldn't do anything, which left me furious that they don't stand behind their work

Few weeks ago I stopped by Walmart to have an oil change done and flat tire repair. When I got my car back, I notice that the flat tire did not get fix. The next day I brought it back to the store and asked them to repair for my flat tire. I was waiting 5 to 6 hours to get it fix. When I got my car back, the flat tire message on the screen of my car was gone, however the light of O/D is on. I didn’t know what is that message signal mean. I kept driving my car to different place every day. After two day, the same flat tire message was on again , I had a feeling that the Walmart tech just fill up the air on my tire without fixing the flat tire, so I had to stop by QT to fill up the same flat tire again. However, I was ignoring the O/D message on my car. When I was driving the car seem it very hard to drive faster. I took my car to another mechanic to check it out what was wrong with my car. He asked me if I turn on the O/D . I told him no. I don’t know how to turn that on. He said If I keep driving with the O/D signal my car emission can fail and that will cost me a lot more to replace the emission. From now on I will never go back to Walmart to do any service for my car. The technician over there will try to destroy your car one way or another if they knew you were complaining about them. They were the one that turn on the O/D signal on my car. Stay away from this Walmart oil change service !

Would give them zero stars if possible. Took my car in, they said it would only be 15 minutes, one hour and 10 minutes later they were done. I spoke with the store lead, he said he would talk to them, but never did. when I checked the oil afterwards, it was a half a quart low, and oil was spilled all the way across the engine, leaving a burning oil smell.

My aunt had to purchase a tire and have out on. I called earlier before going there and told b no problem we get there and associates going back and forth to see if able to do it r not then only had 1 tire available wasn't happy really considering we were going from Illinois to arnold. I understand it was busy but don't be telling people on the phone you can if your not sure of certainty.

Horrible service center. 1 to 2 hour wait is more like 3 to 4, inefficient and poorly run with very rude staff especially Service Manager. I was able to leave and get my tire repair done in under 30 minutes at another local center in Arnold as I am not from area (delivery driver). Will never seek service here ever again, do not recommend for anyone. Awful customer service! The mechanic was rude and left a pretty big dent in my driver side door. When I asked the manager if he happened to get any of the driver door in his pics that he took of the car/plates beforehand. So I could confirm that the dent wasnt there before they worked on it. He was immediately very rude and snapped at me and I hadnt even acted as angry or upset as I was nor had I said what or who I believed did it at that point yet. I asked if he happened to get the driver door in any of the pics he took and that there is a dent in my door that I didnt believe was there before, his mood changed immediately and he was snappy and defensive and told us it wasnt his problem and to take it up with "those guys" the mechanics. I wasnt even trying to cause any problems, I know theres nothing I can do, I just wanted to see if the door happened to be in any of the pics and just wanted to let him know how his mechanics were treating customers vehicles.

The lady when she made it to the counter (was already standing there waiting 20 minutes) was super rude, she said it would take approximately 45 minutes to switch out two tires on my car, I go and shop a little bit come back 45 minutes later and they haven't even got my car in the back yet. Waited for them to take my care back which was another 45 minutes and then had to wait another hour for my car to be done. So a total of 2 hours and 50 minutes when told it was only going to be 45 minutes.

Actual servicing of the vehicle seems ok but the service when picking up was terrible! We were there to witness her poor attitude when she arrived for work that morning and unfortunately she was the one who was there when we picked our vehicle up that night.... Not even worth my time going into detail. I realize it's hard to find people who want to actually earn a living, but these days it seems like people just hire bodies... 😕 The whole encounter baffled me.

Waited five hours yesterday for tires to be mounted. They only did three out of four bc they said a lug nut was seized. I took It home right and loosened no problem. Came back immediately and was sent to the back of the waiting list all over. Decided instead to come back this am. This time I brought the wheel itself with the tire, thinking this will help ease the process. I was advised I may be looking at another five hours.

Absolutely awful! Don't go here! Went in for a routine oil change at around 8am, shortly after they opened, ended up waiting over an hour just for them to get to it (WHO ELSE WERE YOU SERVING?! I was the only one there!), then it took almost an hour for them to do it (come on... you went to college for this stuff. It shouldn't take you an hour.), and when I went to pay for it and get my keys, the person behind the counter was very rude and just threw my keys on the counter and they almost slid off. When they saw them almost fall and I caught them, they just looked at me like "not my problem." THEN, to top it all off... THEY BROKE MY WASHER FLUID TANK! Dunno how, since my tank isn't anywhere NEAR my oil, but, they broke it. And when I went back in to point it out, the guy who did the oil change said "oh yeah. It's broken, alright. You can just pick up a new one at a junkyard or something, they're pretty cheap." I didn't NEED one until you broke it! I drove home and tried calling several times about this ordeal, but was never allowed to speak to a manager, nobody ever tried to make it right, and the people who I talked to kept denying it was their responsibility to fix what was broken, even though it was one of THEIR employees who did it! Worst customer service EVER!

Tire prices are good. Employees are not helpful and I had to repeat the sizes numerous times. After getting the size correct, don't, I repeat don't let them mount and ballance them for you. Every tire had different pressure and LOOSE lug nuts! After a few days the wheel weights came off of one wheel. Go back in and the rude lady said it would be 2 1/2 to 3 hours before they would get to my car. Refused to let me leave and come back in a couple hours. Said they have to keep my keys and car there. You are not allowed to make an appointment and be ready to wait for hours. It would've been easier to use a real shop to get mount and ballance
