Specifically told them do not change my drums on my car, I just need the shoes replaced. They replaced the drums on my car anyway and tried to say that a groove is why they had to replace it. They could have cleaned/resurfaced it instead. They did not contact me regarding putting the new drums on, they did this all without consulting me.
The principle of the matter, the fact I explicitly said not to do something and they did it without consulting me is the reason they have 1 star. Glad to have functional brakes, livid that they did things without my consent.
They also didn’t put my car back as it was (my large cup holder adapter was in my glove box and my dog seat cover was half disassembled in my back seat — why?!)
They also reset the 2 odometer settings that can be reset. This made me completely lose track of my mileage for my next oil change and is a huge inconvenience.
Second time bringing my car here. It is a very busy shop, and for good reason. They go above and beyond, are very friendly, and I trust them to fix critical systems I missed. For example, I brought the car in because the manual clutch failed, no clutch at all. Also, the rear wheels squealed loudly, which they thought meant I had a bad rear wheel bearing. I also had almost no emergency brake left, even though I had replaced the rear brakes about six months ago. I doubt the car would have passed it's upcoming inspection if they didn't fix it while just doing what we agreed to. Awesome guys, highly recommended.

I brought my 148k '09 outback here for service and repairs. They did a thorough job and charged a very fair price. They would send me regular updates with photos and videos, letting me know what issues they found and what would need fixed. They accommodated my unusual requests and I never felt pressured or uneasy. Great guys, great work, great prices, great customer service. Highly recommended
They r very legit they will show u the old pices n when they install the new ones two prices go depending on what's wrong with the car please understand mechanic need to get pay for there work as well iam happy with there work

I’ve been going here for as long as he’s been open, honestly I’m probably one of his first few customers now he’s grown his business and I’ve been going to him since, I’ve never had any problems with him whatsoever he’ll tell me when something doesn’t need to be fixed because I’m picky about my cars, and he’ll fix what needs to be fixed. I’ve never had a problem in the 8 or so years I’ve been going to him with parts, prices or service. He’s very busy so if you call him and he says he’ll call you back and doesn’t, just give him a ring. He’s just busy. Great place though
Went there for a new cluster and a fuel pump. They lied to me and said they fixed my car but when I asked to see the old parts they couldn't find them. I paid about $700 for repairs that were not made and when I went back they kept giving me the run arounds to come back different days. Finally the guy told me he would call me when he finds a new cluster and it has been a month and my car is still broken and I never heard from him again. Horrible people that take advantage of struggling families. DO NOT GO THERE, they will steal your money!
I went here because my car failed the test to get a road legal inspections sticker. I showed them the failed report and they knew exactly what I needed. Their are very friendly, helpful and offer great service. Thanks to them my car passed today and I can now legally drive my car! I know little to nothing about automotive work so if you need reliable service, I recommend here.
Long story short: The shop owner said I needed transmission and clutch replaced for about $1600. I ended up just getting my clutch replaced and had to pay about $800.
After taking my vehicle to another mechanic who told me to "junk it" I decided to get a second opinion. A friend referred me to JT Auto. I brought it right down for a free estimate and quote then had the work done the next day. He was honest and fair and my SUV drives great now!
