My boyfriend was looking to get new windshield wipers for the impending snow storm (and desperately needed them). The older gentleman with glasses and a hat working the front counter was so generous, patient and helpful. He offered to help us install the blades and helped with the cost. What an absolute sweetheart, will definitely be back if we need additional car essentials just because of his kindness.

I wanted to return a car jack that I bought and never used, because it didn’t fit my vehicle at all. However, I was accused of having used it, which is completely untrue. After that, I was told that I must use the same card I paid with to get a refund. Unfortunately, my card happened to be temporarily blocked at that moment, so I politely asked to use a different card or to receive store credit instead. The manager told me that it was impossible — which is very strange, because every other store allows it, but apparently yours does not! After that, I simply left the jack in the store, said goodbye, and walked out. I had a very bad experience in this store and I am extremely disappointed. Please take action with your staff, because this kind of customer service is absolutely unacceptable.

In July 2024, I purchased a front right brake caliper for my 2013 truck from Advanced Auto Parts. Fast forward to April 18, 2025, and an auto shop diagnosed that same caliper sticking as it was defective — less than a year later. I returned to Advanced Auto Parts to replace it under warranty. I was told that because the caliper was still installed on my truck, I would need to purchase a new one first, then bring back the defective caliper for a full refund and core charge return. Today (April 28, 2025), when I returned with the old caliper, I was informed by an employee named Matt that they would not refund the purchase, only the core charge — completely contradicting what I had been told previously. Because of their misinformation, I’m now out nearly $100, and no one took any responsibility for the error. To make matters worse, Matt was extremely rude and condescending during the entire interaction. Between the poor communication, refusal to honor their own policy, and unacceptable customer service, I absolutely do not recommend this location. Not to mention the long lines and how dirty the place was.

This is a store where I was discriminated against today. The guy didn't even look at the computer. He fixed my product that I had in my hand. I showed it to him and told him what car it was. He didn't even want to look at the computer. I had already been to their other store in the Evans section and they sent me there. I paid for an Uber to go get the part that he assured me was in that store. When I got there, the guy didn't want to help me. I'm outraged. I went. I was discriminated against in that store for not having good English.

The man at the desk that answered the phone was really rude saying he could help me when all I called for was to see if I ordered the correct thing (witch meant just checking to see if they were struts or shocks) then proceeded to hang up on me. That is extremely poor customer service. I won’t be going here again

Cant say enough good things about this place. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about anything and everything. I got fast and efficient help recharging my ac at an amazing price unfortunately I cannot remember the names of the two gentlman that helped me, but they were so kind to my daughter who's autistic and was raging through the store the entire time lol. They are unbelievably patient and my ac has never been colder! I hope these two get the credit they deserve for their amazing service they know who they are !

What a dump!!!!!! Filthy and dirty inside !!!!! After waiting in line for 15 minutes to purchase a quart of oil I decided to just leave without purchasing. There was one person on the counter helping a customer and two other employees just walking around doing nothing while myself and 3 other customers waited to be helped. Poor customer service and the employees were oblivious to what was going on.

Staff was knowledgable and helped with directions on how to replace battery. Battery died a couple of blocks up and walked over. They were pleasant and willing to help on this snowy day. Gave me a ride and changed the battery for me. Excellent customer service.

Not exactly sure which advance auto this one is I had to go to worcester grafton st as the local store n my town didn't have the parts I needed at that time to fix my plow truck overall they are my go to place for auto parts and the speed perks make up for the extra traveling worcester store gave me a managers discount that was better then the speed perk savings because I had to go to worcester instead of my local store

Atrocious. My friend went in to get a part last minute to get his car fixed to drive out of state for a funeral . He called one of the other locations and they said this location closed at 9 but if he got there before they would have the part available for him. He got there at 8:54 and the man inside wouldn’t let him in. He explained through the door that his car broke down and he had a funeral and the man said they were closed already. All the guy inside had to do is grab one part for him. Terrible.

Young associate that assisted me on my online order was very knowledgeable, very patience & even suggested other ways how I could save money. All this was while even assisting his co-worker on helping his customer on making her transaction. Yes, I highly recommend this place for all your car needs.

Though they had what I was looking for, it was disappointing that they were unable to accept a tax exempt purchase for a non-profit organization without a pre-approved 'commercial' account. I encourage them to revise their policies to allow this in the future.

The staff here are fairly knowledgeable. Some of the younger staff are too obvious in their lack of overall knowledge but seem eager to learn. Then there's Paul...a human Chilton's to any DIY mechanic. Paul is the best at the Grafton ST location. If Paul can't fix it, solve it, jimmy-rig it, or locate it then you're really in trouble. I wish I had his knowledge!

Extremely dissatisfied had receipt and they refused to return I purchased both kinds of oil filters for my truck to be safe. I was informed their would be no problems returning it. But that was not the case

Today, I placed an order online for a car battery to pick up at the Grafton sr store in Worcester MA. Due to the pandemic situation, I called the store ahead of time to check if I need to make any appointment for pickup and installation. The person who answered the phone denied that they are not providing any battery installation service due to COVID-19. I even mentioned to him that before calling I checked the website and there was no mention that. Then he started making sarcastic statements if I am watching news at all. I am deeply disappointed with the customer communication aspect especially the tone of the response. Edits: I walked up to the store again today at around 4.30 pm and asked if they offer replacement for battery. His name is Paul . He is very professional and helped with battery replacement right away. He also mentioned that the person who answered the phone call in the morning was new and he would talk to him. Changing from 1 star to 3 star now.

Went to get a new bulb for anyone who has a Prius this isn't as easy as just changing the bulb. The staff was great! I'm so horrible with names, but I believe Kevin helped me and he was awesome!

The staff were all friendly, the store was clean and I found what I was looking for immediately. Paul was the sales associate who I dealt with: not only was he knowledgeable but he’s also funny. Made me laugh a few times as I was checking out, then brought the ice melt I purchased to my car for me. Thank you!

They are a conveniently located chain store for auto parts, accessories and other related items.Their prices seem on par with their competition. The aisles and shelves are rather well organized and employees will offer you assistance as needed or requested. Staff can sometimes give you some good info. or suggestions on car parts and repairs, although they are not necessarily trained mechanics.

Needed AC electrical connector for the motorhome. Unfortunately not available. Employee behind the counter said follow me, we walked out to his truck. He opens the hood and cuts off the electrical connector off his truck and gives it to me. Wow!! That's what I call customer service! I gave him a tip and thanked him very much.

I don't usually give reviews for auto parts stores but I didn't appreciate the snippy attitude I received. The first woman I dealt with was very professional and friendly. When I came back with a simple question, her co-worker gave me a condescending tone. I don't work in an auto parts store and I'm not a mechanic. They should be used to clueless customers, however I should not be made to feel that way.

I love this auto parts store! Mostly because the courteous employees really know their stuff. As if all the ppl that get hired here have been mechanics at one time. It's not the cheapest auto parts place, but it's not the most expensive one either.
