Can’t recommend this place enough. They do awesome work and they’re good people. I popped in the shop because I locked myself out of my car down the street and they jumped in to help immediately. Next time I need another service I’m coming straight here.

So I must write a review for Derek's Auto repair. Brought my daughters car in to diagnose an engine light, suspected igntion coil issue, spark plugs, also concered about oil in plugs. Derek had the car diagnosed, repaired, and additional oil change all done in less than a day. I was literally a walk in, and he went above and beyond to accomodate us. This shop just earned my business for all my auto needs. Thanks Derek, appreciate your exceptional service!!
I blew the tire on my way to work one morning. I was alone, panicked, and my husband had no way of getting to me. I managed to park across the street from Derek's and they truly saved me that day. One of their mechanics came across the street with me and was able to put on the donut for me, they even did it free of charge!!! I was back on my way to work an hour later, when AAA had quoted me a 3 hour wait! These guys working there are awesome, totally professional and female friendly!!!? Will definitely go back , but this time routine maintenance!!! Thanks again Derek's!!!

These guys are liars and rude, telling me I needed a timing belt and struts on a 37,000 mile car. When I called them out on their dishonesty, they ganged up on me and started dropping F bombs on me. Struts were not leaking and when you pushed up and down on the car and let go, the car stops bouncing after one bounce. Rude, vulgar and dishonest, stay far away from these hacks!!!!
These guys are straight up liars avoid this shop at all costs. Dishonest ppl. They don’t deserve one star. Brought car in for inspection for a pre sale check over, they told me shocks were bad. When in fact they most definitely were not. Car is extremely low mileage and a museum piece. Funny thing is I’m highly knowledgeable with mechanics and have a high level of mechanical aptitude. You won’t fool me. When you push the car down a let it up that should dampen and not bounce more than two times if shocks are good. No bounce at all an you could hear gas charge. Also asked to see any leaks or dry rot the didn’t have an answer. LIARS. Had to call all there loser workers over to try an intimidate us ?✌️
Best mechanic around. Derek has worked on multiple cars of ours. He gets the job done and he’s trust worthy. I will always recommend this place because I have always had nothing but good experiences.
Very good and honest owner brought my 2002 BMW 325ci in today because I could not figure out why it wasn’t blowing out heat but I could feel it from the vent. They thought it was the blower motor but come to find out it was electrical. He didn’t leave me stranded and referred me to a electrical specialist that is local when he couldn’t figure it out and did not charge me for trying to fix it and has done previous work at a good honest price.
Great guy and honest. He checked my car out and what I was told it was the starter. Went to Derecks and he found it was a weak battery that I just bought at Firestone. He didnt charge me a dime. Yet Firestone charged me 15.00 to replace it.
As a fellow Nissan z owner he has helped me tremendously. This is a GREAT shop that takes pride on honest hard work . They are more than reasonable price wise especially in today’s market . If you live in the somerset,Swansea, Fall River, warren area it’s a no brainer to bring it to Derek. Thank you for all your help!
Derek is extremely professional and cares about everyone that walks through his shop doors. Very reasonable price on work that was done on my car. Will be taking my car there anytime I need work on my car.. Fore it's worth the he it takes me to go there. I know my car will be done right. Great guy! I had a brake line brake lol I stopped at four different places and he's the only one that even attempted to look or help me in anyway. I was running on drops of fluid and he handed me a bottle on the house.
Derek goes above and beyond for his customers. Hard working man with a good heart and a kind soul.

Called the night before to have my check engine light checked. Dropped it off the next morning and had a call by early afternoon letting me know the diagnosis. Great service and very friendly. I trust bringing my car there.
Derek and his crew are absolutely professionals, I will not take my vehical to anyone else. He's straight forward and honest, always trying to help his customers. I've had mechanics try and take me for a ride I've brought the car to him with a list of issues and he came back and told me most of "the issues" weren't issues and saved me so much money in the long run.
This is my 2nd or 3rd time coming to Derek's Auto Repaur. Excellent customer service. I'm so happy I found this repair shop and I will continue to come here for all my car needs and repairs!
Very Unhappy Finding out today he lied and cheated me. On my last oil change I informed Derick I wanted Only Mobile 1 oil and filter (dealership requirement) he said give me a day to get that here I do not stock that brand I said ok no problem.Today I have oil change done and find that he used a CHEAP filter made in China with that in mind he probably never used the Mobil 1 oil either and charged me xtra for it. I HATE LIARS!!!!!
Such a great feeling to have an honest and reliable go-to for my (older) car. Keeping a car up can be expensive and stressful ... not any more. I am SUPER grateful for these folks and this automotive garage!
Definitely go here instead of a chain place such as firestone etc. They do a much better job and don't try to squeeze your last dollar and take your 1st 2nd 3rd unborn- .They did a great job on all 4 brakes and rotors - and 2 front tires. The difference in how my car drives is quite extravagant honestly. And I didn't leave feeling like I just put a down payment on a mortgage. Better to go to a local shop and let a professional do it.
Had my wife’s brakes done earlier in the year, his price was great and had it done same day. Went back again for some funny noises underneath my wife’s car later in the year, said he just had to tighten up the heat shields and didn’t even charge me. Highly recommend, he’s a very honest mechanic
Derek is THE BEST! Amazing value and top notch work! He is such a nice and honest person who I fully trust. I'd even travel an hour because it'd be worth it in the long haul! There is no better auto body shop and would recommend him to everyone/anyone. Your car and money will be in good hands!
Totally honest mechanic- been with him for 8 years and never steered me wrong. Always priced kindly, and he'll tell me if another mechanic is pulling my leg on labor. Example- one mechanic told me I needed my brakes flushed, I went to Derek, he told me 'whats the point, it's going to go black anyway.. you'll be fine, just keep driving".
Saved me a couple hundred bucks ? only needed a bearing.
Derek is a great guy and takes good care of any vehicle I bring to him. Fair prices and no upselling of unneeded parts like some other places do. Definitely someone you can trust with your car!
Stayed late to accommodate my schedule. Fixed the problem extremely quickly. No charge because it was under warranty; I didn't have the receipt, but they found the invoice for me.
