NIGHTMARE experience! 5 weeks to fix a check engine light - Still not fixed and they burned almost $2000 guessing at it, not installing the parts they replaced properly, and it is still not fixed! The owner and the staff there are super nice, but I should have known better when I pulled in, and they had a "Mechanic Wanted" sign out front. Brought it in for a Check Engine Light. They keep your truck for a minimum 2-3 days no matter what it is. They tried replacing 1 part, they cleared the check engine light with the computer, 24 hours later it comes back on. I call them back, they said bring it back in. They say it now a different part, I give the truck the next week, they keep it for a several days, they give it back to me, they clear the check engine light... 24 hours later I am now getting a new Warning light and a check engine light. They take it back again... This time they blame it on a bad replacement part, from the ford dealer? They replace the part, again, I think, now the warning is gone but 24 hours later check engine light comes back on. They take it back, this time I tell them I want a loaner... and I was super appreciative, BUT, the loaner had no AC, the Passenger Door is Open warning was on no matter what you did to close the doors, Check Engine Light was on, and the other Tool Light was on and the radio didn't work, so all I had was a 4 track Dire Straight CD in there ... gets old after 4 days without my truck... On this last week they had my truck they left it with the Ford dealer. They told them it was another part. They replaced it (Another $500 burned). Within 48 hours the check engine light was on again. I called and asked for the owner, Sam. Nice guy. A gentleman. But I am sorry. My time was wasted, my money was burned, and I still have a truck that has no inspection sticker because they didn't know how to fix it. He was nice and offered to come pick up the truck for me to fix it. I appreciated it, but you had 5 weeks to fix it. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me... fool me 5 times... REALLY shame on me.
Freddie and his team went above and beyond to get the body work I needed done on my car! Car looked brand new!!!! Awesome job detailing the inside as well everyone was absolutely amazing
Called for a forced regen on my l5p duramax got me in about an hour later and got done right away. Great customer service definitely highly recommend! I will for sure be a returning customer.
I have been a customer at Showcase Auto and Truck in Swansea for many years now. My family has severals vehicles that is been serviced from the staff . They all take pride in there work they do and complete each job at hand in a timely manner. I would recommend the owner Freddy and his staff can handle any job at hand .

I needed a wheel bearing, and the car dealership gave me a very high estimate. I had noticed Showcase before because they always seem busy which is a great sign that they do great work. I called on a Wednesday and the manager, Sam said he could do it the next day. Showcase called me to let me know that the parts were in during the day and that they would have it done before the end of the day. They did a great job and repaired within 48 hours and they followed up. I highly recommend them and located right near the Seekonk Speedway.
I can't thank Rick and the team at Showcase Auto in Swansea, MA, enough for helping me out of a tough spot. My dump truck broke down, leaving me in a bind with several scheduled jobs I couldn’t complete without one. Rick went above and beyond to get me into one of the dump trucks they where selling.
Not only did he make the process smooth and efficient, but he also took the time to share valuable advice about how LLCs work and other business tips. He was genuinely sincere, saw the difficult situation I was in, and made it his priority to help.

I bought a mini-van at Showcase Auto. The sale went pretty smoothly and I was happy with the van. However, I gave Showcase Auto 3 stars because they did not fulfill a departing promise. Rick promised me a key fob/remote that he had to order so he said it would take a little time. It's been more than two months and several calls later and I still have not received the remote. It's too bad that he couldn't follow up with a simple request because this left a sour taste in my mouth, which ruined an otherwise decent experience
Really unimpressed with my experience here.
Long story short, my 2016 Dart refused to start and I had it towed to Showcase since it was the nearest AAA-approved mechanic. All the symptoms pointed to an electrical issue, probably related to the battery or starter.
Despite that, it took them TEN HOURS of work to diagnose the issue as a faulty starter relay. That's an easy fix and should have been one of the first things they checked.
They also ripped me off by charging $380 for a replacement starter. A brand new Mopar factory-issue starter for my car retails for about $200. They claimed they were cutting me a deal by reducing the labor costs (although for how long it took, I'm not sure they weren't trying to pad labor costs), but I suspect they were gouging me on parts to make up for that.
The check engine light was on when I picked my car up. It wasn't before I dropped it off. To be fair, that could have been related to the electrical issue I brought it in for, but where it's reporting an issue with the radiator's air shutter I sincerely doubt it.
Granted, they got my car running again, but I can't help but feel they did sloppy, substandard work and gouged me on parts.
Edit: Almost forgot, but a few days later I found they left a wrench under my windshield wipers, creating a safety hazard and leaving behind an ugly rust spot. These guys really are bad at what they do.
I had a wonderful experience at Showcase Auto. I bought a vehicle and worked with Rick. He was professional, easy to work, knowledgeable and timely. I recommend them based on my positive experience.
Freddy and his team at Showcase auto & truck are amazing!! I had some issues going on with my 2007 Lexus LS 460 and they were able to diagnose the issue quickly and effectively. While waiting the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcomed like I was a family member. Super professional and friendly. I popped into showcase auto without any appointment, asked to look at some of the trucks. Rick gladly took me around and showed me a few. I asked the price on one and to test drive it and said “absolutely”. Needless to say I bought the truck and love it, and Rick made everything go smoothly without any sales pressure or gimmicks
Called George in Swansea and was able to bring my car in for body work when my car got hit. They Brought my car in for body work to their East Providence location for me. Denise kept me well informed the entire time they had my car as to what was going on with the insurance company. Showcase auto service is always on point, they are super respectful!! George always takes great care of us which is why we keep coming back!!
Great service, great owner, and great work! I have had one positive experience after another. George has always taken my last minute requests, expedited service and even conducted simple repairs at no charge! There aren’t many businesses willing to to go out of their way like Showcase!

The owners are AMAZING? I bought my Honda almost 8 years ago from showcase and its still perfect as the first day I bought it. Also this is the ONLY place my family will inspect any of our vehicles. They will work with you and are absolutely reasonable and trustworthy. You will feel confident and comfortable knowing your car is in great hands. They are so nice and easy to talk to and will explain what you need and what you dont need. Guys there were great. They were able to get my wife's brakes done for me the next day on short notice. Service was great and car came back cleaner than before running perfectly. Good communication during the service as well. I will continue to use them for our vehicles and reccomend to others.

I feel privileged to have found these wonderful people. Inspections and oil changes are the fastest as they always get you in immediately or nearly so. Highly recommended

I have taken my Lexus there from the very beginning. I have ALWAYS been treated fairly and I know if I had taken my car to the Dealer they would have found things to fix! Showcase will tell me your car is in great shape you DON’T need this or that. And that is a pleasant surprise! I feel comfortable and welcome there. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I had an awesome experience with the guys at Showcase. As a first time buyer, they worked with me to get me into the car I wanted at an affordable rate. Rick from the finance department, the head mechanic George and his brother Freddie are all very knowledgeable and are there to help you, not rip you off. I've been happily driving my 2012 Hyundai Sonata for a year now and it runs just like the day I drove it off their lot.

I bought my truck there end of February and we are still working with Showcase, as expected with a truck that is going on 7 years old there are a few issues. Before we did the sale there was an exhaust issue that they fixed and afterwards I took the truck to get looked over by my regular mechanic and he commented that the repair weld was a very good professional job. The sale paperwork was quick and easy. They have been great accommodating my schedule for everything. The owner is there all the time, I like their no no-nonsense transparency, whatever comes up they handle it confidently. They've shown me the paperwork for their work and explained it all they've done. I would definitely recommend and buy from them again.
Showcase is one of the best auto shops around. I have been there with all my family's vehicles and the service is always fantastic. They have a very knowledgable crew of mechanics and the work is always competitively priced and done right. I have always dealt with Dennis when i go there and he is the most polite, professional, and courteous employee I have ever done business with. Showcase never ceases to impress me and I promise you will not be disappointed when you bring your car into Showcase Auto.
