I was in the middle of a trip to Buffalo and my car started acting up. Thankfully, it happened around this place. The service was prompt and professional, and Isaiah up front was quick to answer all of my questions and more. Im thoroughly impressed, and although I don’t live in the area, I would recommend this place to anyone!

Had an hour & a half of time to kill on a random Tuesday recently so stopped here to see if they could fit me in for an oil change. They got me in immediately right after their lunch break & I was in & out pretty quickly. Everyone was very friendly & pricing was very reasonable. Would definitely try this place again for any future automotive needs. They seem very honest just like the business name.

Got a flat on our road trip home on a Sunday. This locally owned business had a very friendly staff and was able to find us a tire that fit so we could make our journey home safely. (Other shops were closed on Sunday) Tire replacement was cheap! Highly recommend. Thank you for getting us back on the road quickly and at a good price! They live up to their name!

Highly recommended Amazing people (A family owned business of lovely parents and sons) I had problems with my tires where I had my car inspected on the spot. I didn’t have to have an appointment or anything. The cost of fixing it was very affordable Best of luck guys

Drove from Berkeley Springs to get my tire fixed late on a Saturday afternoon when no one else was open. We called ahead and Tom assured us that they’d still be here waiting for us. Really isn’t another word for the service other than charming. There were dad jokes and good advice and a very reasonable $30 price tag. Hope I’m never in the same sitch again but if I am I’ll know where to go.

I got a flat tire on the interstate, called here, and within 30 minutes, the owner himself had arrived to give me a tow and a replacement tire. He was personable, professional, and made the entire experience better. The price was entirely reasonable, and I'll absolutely call here first if I ever need services in their area again.

I had a last minute emergency car issue on a Saturday when I was supposed to be driving out west later that day. The guys at Abiyoto told me to bring it in right away, immediately looked at it and diagnosed the issue quickly. I was on my way in no time and able to make my drive with a clear mind! Highly recommend.

I noticed a knocking sound coming from my front driver's side wheel well of my 2009 Dodge Nitro and brought it to Honest Abiyoto to look for the issue. This business is great. It's literally a family run shop, and I met the owner Tom, his wife, and two sons that work there. They were very friendly and informative and kept me updated on the repairs the entire time. Their mechanic Lane was also terrific. I know he ran I to trouble fixing a suspension issue I suspected was causing the knocking. While it did end up costing more than the original estimate, the final cost was not unreasonable for the work that had to be done. But the thing that makes them really great and truly live up to the business name, is that after taking my Nitro home, I noticed a couple of small issues, so I brought it back to them and they fixed it again at no additional charge. I have been to other places that would never have done that. I can't say that will be the case for everyone, I can guarantee that they will do everything in their power to treat you right. So, if you need your vehicle repaired, bring it to Honest Abiyoto. I highly recommend them and you will not regret it. It will be the only place I bring any of my vehicles from now on. FYI, if this counts for anything, this is only the second recommendation I have ever left for any business. That is how much I appreciate how they treated me. Thanks to Tom, his family, and Lane, keep up the great work.

My van broke down on a Saturday (3/22/25) while my son and I were traveling out of state. I had it towed to Honest Abiyoto Auto not knowing anything about whether or not it was a good auto shop. I told them the problem my code reader said it was having. They immediately began to work on it and had it done before closing time. They knew my situation of being stranded and instead of overcharging me, which they very well could have done, they gave me a discount. I was able to get back on the road and to my destination the same day. I highly recommend Honest Abiyoto Auto Repair. They were a huge blessing to me. I've driven about 1300 miles since that repair with no problems.

The shop stayed open late to handle our repair right when we needed it! They were very nice, and very reasonable.

So in hagerstown you best bet for a good deal is just to buy new at Walmart all these companies admit Walmart pricing is better. 65 for a used 195, 65 r15 is outrageous when Walmart does it brand new for 78. Plus Walmart offers warranties unlike the smaller places. They suck at doing business, this is why big chains win!

IF YOU NEED ANYTHING REPAIR RELATED, GO HERE! We were on our way home from Jersey to Texas, when we broke down on the side of the highway. My fiancé found Honest while looking through Google, and I’m so glad he did. We got a tow here, and they TIRELESS worked to help get us on our way. From driving 30 mins to pick up parts to calling me and updating me every step of the way, this family owned business was a God-send. They live by their mantra, and provide honest service. Not to mention, the repairs weren’t trivial - their mechanic team is extremely skilled. I wish this business the most success, hoping they scale their business model to be everywhere. Seriously, the best mechanic experience I’ve had. Warm, kind, friendly - just amazing. Similar to another review - SAVED our roadtrip. Thanks Honest Abiyoto team and family :)

Honest, warm, and friendly service. The owner Tom was very reasonable, and it was a delight, seeing how it’s truly a family business there. Would recommend. Back to add they even replaced the tire for me after they had closed just because they knew I needed it. Very nice people. Very good job fantastic used tires too! EDIT- had a serious problem with some work done which they could have just closed door and said not their problem but they met me halfway on a solution when they had no legal requirement to. I do appreciate it. Honest guys

They don't use a lift when doing repairs, so the cat cannot be properly fixed. After getting repairs done here, I had to get an alignment. When they lifted the car up, I was told that all of the bolts underneath were either loose or missing and a strut was missing. They were surprised that I drove the car in without incident. I had to pay for extra work that was supposed to be completed. I'll never go to this place again.

I had two blown tires off I81 North. I tried calling multiple places and came up with sky high deals and with hours of wait time. I found Honest Abiyoto who in a matter of an hour and half got it all done. He even offered me a car to get some food with my family. He got his own tow truck and repair shop/used tires. Pricing was like being in the Bronx haha. RECOMMEND!!!!!

LIFE SAVER!!! We were passing through town and we became very worried about our car’s brakes. We entered the shop and found a warm and experienced mechanic, he looked at our car immediately. Within 10 minutes, he took care of our issue and professionally explained what was going on. We are so grateful for him, he saved our roadtrip!

I got a flat while at the library. I wandered in to the shop to see if they had fix a flat. Instead, the mechanic walked across the street to inspect the tire. He said he could repair the tire for a very reasonable rate. Hour later I was on the road!

Me. Abiyoto is a wonderful man. My vehicle died unexpectedly, and Mr. Abiyoto was there to rent a car to me. I am going to purchase a car from him. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs a mechanic to repair your car or rental car.

I was in Hagerstown on business and got a flat on my way. Honest Abiyoto was available at a moment's notice with a very reasonably priced replacement tire. The owner diagnosed some other issues with my wheel and was very patient and answered all my questions. I live about an hour from here, but I'm seriously considering making this my go-to mechanic. I never feel like I can trust mechanics, but Honest Abiyoto feels different. Also seems to be family owned and operated, which I appreciate.

Their name is a fact! Great service at an honest price! My car broke down (at the time I thought my car was a complete gonner) at the most inopportune time, but they were available like a knight in shining armor, late on a Saturday with a car rental so I could to get to an important meeting. They were the only one open on Saturday that late. Then Monday I took my car into their repair shop and they diagnosed it quickly and even fixed it for a super Fair price! I will forever be thankful for their honesty and fair price!
